its not just the cancellation of my accommodation that has really annoyed me,its their dreadful uncaring attitude about it, i got the call on sat from a very abrupt matter of fact travel agent ,no apology just said your hotel has been cancelled we are going to move you to another hotel and when i said i wasnt happy she became very unpleasant and basically said tough, i have since found out instant holidays lied to me about my change of flight in dec, i got an invoice saying flight had been changed i rang them to ask why and was told sometimes this happens flights cancel and times change and theres nothing that can be done, after speaking to ros today she told me to ring up thomas cook whom my flights were with and find out if this was true, i was annoyed at the time as the new flights arent a nice time but wasnt suspicious ,it was ros that said it didnt ring true, as only return flight had changed and if i was going with thomas cook then i should be coming home with them not sun express who i have never heard of, thomas cook told me today yes my original flight was still flying but was full, so it looks like its been over booked, i then rang future travel about this to be told any flights changed is up to flight company and not them, by this time thomas cook was closed so will be ringing them back, ros had said to me she suspected this could be the case and if it was it would help me as this is totally unexceptable bearing in mind flights were booked in aug,will find out more tomorrow, only all these problems can happen to me
Just wanted to say that my Dad and myself travelled to Turkey last October with Sun Express and returned home with Thomas Cook. The flight over was excellent - took off on time, infact i think it was minutes early, the cabin crew were very friendly, it had inflight entertainment and also the meal that was served was lovely (can't remember exactly what it was but remember thinking that it was good!). Sun Express are a Turkish Airline but their headquarters are based in Germany. Overall we were very impressed with them and would definetly travel with them again. We had never heard of them either so please don't let this put you off.
ok thanks for that kel, ive just contacted thomas cook to now find the flight is the following day and future travel have sent me the wrong return date grrrrrrr, can you believe how incompetant they have been, ive just rang them and they are still insisting they are right, im hitting my head up against a brick wall, if i hadnt rang thomas cook myself i would have gone to the aiport a day earlier, had no hotel room the following day and my children who i had organised to stay at relatives i would have had to ring and let them all know late notice, what a nightmare, im now waiting for a phone call from them confirming my return flight date 29th or 30th grrr, no apologies just blamed thomas cook for sending wrong information to them, why do these people always blame each other ?? and also which hotel they have changed me too, its driving me crazy all of this messing around

Why do these companies never accept blame themselves. It's always "you need to speak to blah blah, not us" or "it's the hotel" or "it's the airport".
Its company policy "Never accept the blame and pass the buck wherever possible"
and boy are they doing this im running round in circles, saying that, the travel agent is the worse they are blaming thomas cook for flight and med hotels for accommodation and saying they are following abtas guide lines when ros is saying they are clearly not and im sat in the middle, with only 1 flight a week so not having a lot of choice probably will have to accept it under protest as theres nothing else on offer and flight prices have gone up since aug and will have sort it out on my return, diane from here has gone there today and is going to text me and let me know what the hotel is like and if this falez is being refurbished like we were both told, be interesting to hear from her soon

ive just rang med hotels to ask if falez is available i was told we dont deal with this hotel any more, but wouldnt tell me why, so the refurbished excuse i feel is a lie as this hotel is advertised on other websites as available, will keep you posted
obviously this must be something that has been planned for a while as they wouldnt decide spurr of the moment
