Yes my mistake kingfisher have one flight a day direct to Deli Rs 3750 one way! all their other flights are not direct change at Mumbai to another airline! Fly smart Go fares as low as Rs 395 one way!
fares do not include taxes and service charges of Rs 3000! looks very expensive, may be better to fly into Deli as part of the flight from the UK!
return fare Mumbai/goa was £99 each our return day is a saturday which made it more
expensive ,fare to Mumbai on Virgin using some airmiles £315 so not to bad £414 in total
for the same dates our friends have booked charter with Monarch premier seats £641
who would you rather fly with????

Must admit, I haven't used my Nationwide CC since I accidentally withdrew cash on it thinking it was my debit card. For use in GB I have an alternative one that gives me reward points.
the site worked straight away with a master card,at least we have the flights booked now
and pleased with the price ,we will have exchange fee,s on the master card though as had
to pay in $ us

Extra baggage allowance
Just got my Kingfisher etickets via email, how do these things work as it says you dont need any paper ticket, I presume your details are on computer when you arrive at the check in. just a bit confused afetr years of charter packages and all the stuff they give you.
just take your eticket- there wont be any problems
E-tickets just means everything is stored on a central computer so you don't need tickets like you used to have. Some of the charter airlines use these as well now for their flight only options. All you need is your booking reference number and passport. Just makes things simpler and gives airlines the ability to use facilities such as online and express check-in. I normally take the printout of the flight confirmation with booking reference number on it and take that with me just in case. All you need to do at check-in is present your passport and booking reference number (if needed).
Edit: You beat me to it Fiona!

but you had a far more detailed reply
Thanks to both, just have to get my visa problem sorted as reported on the main forum. 3 weeks and counting
Ive been looking at booking with Kingfisher and it brings the cost up in Rupees - can I pay in rupees or will they ask for £s - any info would be appreciated.
xx
for some reason the site would not accept a nationwide card[ visa,]so had to use a master card with no problem
hope this helps

you might have to warn your cc company before booking as they often block transfers in India.
i booked mine through the following site and it was cheaper the kingfisher website
http://www.ticketstoindia.co.uk/
and you pay in gbp with whatever card
I did the same thro Tickets to india much cheaper, and the price through to Goa via Mumbai was only 20 pounds more than the flight to Mumbai, also in the conditions on the Kingfisher web site it seems to indicate that if you miss your connection and its not your fault they will put you on the next available flight at no charge!
i take it they mean the next avaliable kingfisher flight or any airline??to interesting to know??
