Hi, went to Goa xmas 04 and stayed at Marinha Dourada, going again this xmas but because we wanted First Choice flights we are staying at the Lagoa Azul, can someone please let me know where it is in relation to Marinha Dourada and AllSpice Restaurant.................counting those days till were back at Silver Sands Beach Shack....................
Can't comment on Marinha Dourada if you need any other info post your question and I will be happy to reply if I can
You will love the Lagoa Azul I always stay there. Going on Monday/Tuesday for 3 weeks. If you know the white church on the right in Apora if you were going in the direction of MD just before All spice well you turn left there and then 1st left again about 10-15 mins walk from main road. From Lazo Azul you can walk across the fields to Mo Jo's in about 15 mins so that might be the best way ask any of the staff very friendly they will show you which way.
Joan
Stayed there Jan 06, it's the best hotel we've stayed in in Goa, a short walk to All Spice. You lucky people.
do any of you know if a "single" room is a single or a twin, we have upgraded to a suite and a friend who is coming with us has booked a "single".
Not sure on that one but I will ask when I go next week and if you have not found out by the time I return 3 weeks will be able to tell you then. I think all the suites are on the top floor but will check that as well.
thanks Joan, have a lovely time
Hi Beegee,
Rah, not too sure I never actually walked it as it seems quite a long way. It certainly would be if you had to go the same way as the taxi. I would guess at least 30mins, probably longer. I wish I had tried it now, its probably a nice walk. Oh well theres always next year.
I was wondering if anyone knew what other tour operators used Lagoa Azul apart from First Choice and Direct Holidays?
I am trying to book 2 weeks in November and best price so far is from First Choice for £591.05 each.
Cheers

Hi Spottiswoode - An operator called Take Flight specialises in Goa charter holidays. Their web site doesn't show Lagoa Azul but if you phone he may be able to help. They are very helpful and well informed about Goa.
Hi Try bestattravel.co.uk we went with them and they have some great offers to Lagoa Azule, Currently £309 for 2 weeks.
I have just recently returned from The Lagoa Azul and went with Thomas Cook.
Thanks everyone, will check websites out.
SPOTTISWOODE! Not doing Marinha Dourada again?
We have done Marinha Dourada for 4 years and last year decided to try somewhere different and in the end went nowhere, so its back to Goa this year and we thought we would try a different month and hotel.
Are you still going to Marinha?
Is Jed still there!!!!?
