Just booked Kingfisher December to March, excellent price. Flew with them last year, they looked after us well. Can start counting down the days now. 
Thinking of trying DIY in January,what sort of legroom do you get with Kingfisher
and if its not much are there options to upgrade ?
I think i can manage the hour to Goa from Bombay its the rest of the journey that
I cant cope with .

sorry made a mistake its 34 inches/18 inches wide/and a 25 degree recline plus 45 kg baggage,i have just checked on our booking and it is on A330-200 AIRBUS

premium and I survived,
the 45 kg baggage allowance is unreal,I COULD get the kitchen sink in,AND not have to
cut down on my husbands holiday clothes.

I think you will need to check on what the baggage allowance is on the internal flight.
I know in some cases, it's 15 or 20kg..... perhaps if you go Kingfisher international and
domestic it's okay but it's worth checking before you put that kitchen sink in there!

Apparently kingfisher have staff waiting to help at baggage reclaim and take your bags straight there. From other responses ive had there is no problem, and if you do miss it there is another 2 hours latter.---GET IT IT BOOKED-----

Re the Mumbai stop over, I couldn't believe how well managed this was back in February. We had loads of Kingfisher staff and they even made the flight to Goa wait whilst everyone got across.
I was told that good old VJ has paid lots of rupees and is funding a lot of the work at Mumbai so he gets what he wants which is to our benefit.
