Hi Chilly,I had an e mail this morning from Jet and they say for econamy flights its going to be £81 per person and first class £162 per person.
so are you treating yourselves this year or have you read it wrong

I would check this as I thought the the increase was only a couple of quid. See the table here

also if I remember correctly Jet did this a couple of years ago telling people they would have to pay extra before they flew due to increase APD and you had to pay at Jet Sales desk at the Airport before you could check in although nothing was mentioned to us when we checked in without paying it

yes split, you got it!!! we are treating ourselves as i thought Mike wouldnt cope with Economy

sincerely hope we do manage to go or will lose all that money as no one will insure us

Always travel with Jet Airways. Putting dates in any time in December, coming up with no flights. But coming back in March, no problem! Anyone having this problem? I cannot believe there are no flights the whole of December! :que

wow I can not believe the prices of flights in Feb 2013 coming up over Ã‚£750 I am in two minds to fly to Mumbai via virgin then get on a flight from there to Goa hwoever this is also looking at Ã‚£700 and prob more hassle... 15th trip next year and already I am stressing about the flight

Please can someone post some sites to look at

I have just booked flights with Qatar 13/02/13 till 14/03/13 for Ã‚£573 and that included Ã‚£15 extra for 40kg hold baggage and 7kg of hand luggage

I cant even get that website ...sigh when i go on Qatar website the flight times are 20 hours :yikes

when I put my details in Southall website nothing is happening someone please try for me

I just put your dates in and got Ã‚£658 good times also just under 14 hrs including the transfer to Goa from Doha.
Give the agent a call and he will book it for you :tup

thanks thats good..never done a stop before but might have to... not sure if qatar are any good tho but I dont think they can be worse than monarch

We have done the same flight times as you have got there for the last 3 years there the best times to miss the traffic in Goa and theTrafic from and to Heathrow.
in our opinion.also booked the same again for October

shame you didnt book a little earlier as it was Ã‚£550 , Good luck :tup

yes you can phone southall and if you need extra luggage weight ask them, they had a promotion on yesterday where you could have 40kg for an extra Ã‚£15

Qatar is not a direct flight ! you have stop Doha and change aircraft, it is easy to do, a lot easier than going via Mumbai

The price today for the Qatar flight for the dates you want with only a two hour stop in Doha both ways is 733.81 but if you don't mind a slightly longer time in Doha on the way back it is only 586.84
