Hi I've got the brochure and pictures from the website but there seems to be very few pictures of the reception venues at the hotel.

If anyone could give me any opinions based on your experiance of the hotels i would appreciate it.

Thanks

Hi,

I have booked my wedding through Libra and already have a confirmed day for 1st June 2007 and a confirmed time (17:45).

I don't think 5 day rule is correct according to Libra (and another book I lookat) it is a minimum of 3 working days, we are getting married on the 4th working day as we arrive on a Saturday and the Monday is a Bank Holiday but they have said that this won't be a problem and we can get married on the Friday.

We already have 28 people booked to come out with us (I think as it is Half Term week a lot of people are using it as an excuse for a holiday)

Also anyone thinking of booking make sure you do it early, I booked a month ago and got the last available wedding slot at Capo Bay hotel in the week we were looking for.

Hi,
We are getting married in Nissi Beach and are considering having our reception in Protaras. Does anyone know if this would be too far a distance for our guests to travel? How long would it take and any ideas of how much the fare would be in a taxi? Our wedding is at midday and the reception venues dont open until 3pm so there would be plenty of time to get there!
Thanks!

Hi

We are continually swaying between Cyprus and Florida , for our wedding . Doing my head in to be honest . However , we are in Cyprus mode at the moment  , are there any pictures(or links to) of Nissi beach weddings on this website does anyone know . Found a few of Grecian Sands , but think Nissi beach or Grecian Park are where we would choose .

Hello Everyone.............

We get married in Paralimni Town Hall in May 07 :P and there are approx 30 people going with us  . We get married at 12pm, which is really early, how long approx do you think it will take for photos to get taken (not booked a photographer yet but making decision between a couple, the ones I really wanted are based in Paphos and can't go as far as Ayia Napa  )?

Does anyone know of somewhere either in Protaras or Ayia Napa that we can book to have a meal and a party but for us and our guests only? If so can you let me know details.

I have trawled through previous posts but there doesn't seem to be much info on peoples receptions, where they held them, what they were like, what the food was like, the staff, the decor (do most places do decor for you?) etc etc.

Failing a party I have two restaraunts in mind The Corner Restaurant and Blueberries but have no idea what time we would eat at (is obviously dependant on photos) and therefore what to do afterwards.............I want to keep my dress on all night but think I will look and feel silly trawling around pubs in my dress :?

Did anyone else get married as early as 12pm? If so what time did you have your meal?

Gawd I have lots of questions so will probably be on here a lot.............!!

oh.............can anyone recommend a coach hire firm?

Thanks

Hi Annette

Someone has highly recommended to me http://www.photopiacy.com I have also seen http://www.cyprusphotolibrary.com/ but don't know of anyone that has used this photographer. The ones I really wanted were http://www.magentaplus.com/14.html but they are based in Paphos.

Need some advice please.

My friend has been allocated a time of 12 noon for her wedding at Golden Coast hotel. (through libra)

How do you go about changing it? Its far too early and too hot at that time, especially as they have a young child. They both would prefer later around 4 or 5 pm. Is this possible?

Would she ask Libra or the hotel?

Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot

Hi Jamie

I think the latest is perhaps about 2:00pm but then I'm not 100% certain. I had intitally called Ayia Napa Town Hall and their latest was 2pm but then seen Paralimni and decided to book there. The lady there told me that the latest they do is 12:00pm because the person that performs the ceremonies goes to the hotels to perform ceremonies until 2:00pm.

Have you tried calling or emailing the hotel direct? I am sure they will be very helpfull.

Thanks

Thanks Lillian for the reply.

She is going to call Libra and the hotel later on, needs to wait until I get home from work as she has no internet access.

Its a religious service at the hotel grounds they want so maybe thats why. I know civil ceremonies can be booked up to 5pm.

This is becomming more complicated than my wedding last year at home :hmmm :D

Thanks again I will let you know if she gets sorted.

Hi Annette

We are getting married in Paralimni Town Hall on Friday 25th May 07 at 12pm :D ! What about you? How many of you are going? There are quite a few of us going and my biggest dilema is where to have the reception :hmmm I want to wear my dress all night so would like to have something similar to what would have at home i.e. a meal and then a party with a dj but can't find anywhere on the Net that does that kind of thing in Cyprus .........am hoping someone will see my post and let me know of somewhere.

Bye
