I have been following this thread now for a while and i thought i would post my thoughts on First Choice.
We flew Glasgow to Sanford last June. We upgraded to Star Class Premier. Outbound, no problem, good flight. Inbound, however, was awful. When we arrived at Sanford to fly home, we were told that FC would not be operating their wide bodied jets, the 767-300's on the way home and that we would be flying back on a 757. What a shambles. Delayed for over 3 hours, held in a tunnel for over 30 minutes after being called to board, only to find out there were problems with the jet from a cleaner! No-one from FC in departures to give us any information, no information full stop. The seat i was allocated was found to be faulty prior to boarding, so i was allocated another one, only to find that this one was also faulty. I watched at least three passengers being moved around the cabin due to their seats being faulty. The cabin interior was old and scruffy and in need of a major overhaul. Legroom was a joke and my husband, over 6 foot tall, spent a very uncomfortable 9 hours. No Star Class Premier service on the way back due to the type of jet we flew on. To add insult to injury, FC are still quibbling over refunding the cost of the return leg upgrade, but thats another story.
Would i fly with FC again, NO. Would i recommend them, definately No.
