Hi all, been reading all your posts and decided to join in the excitement I am getting married on the 9th june at st pauls bay chapel don't know what time yet but have asked for 6pm so figers crossed.

Who are you booked with we are with First Choice, we havnt got our time or date yet we get them when we get there. But there times for marrying is between 6.00pm and 8.30pm .
Are you all sorted My dress came on friday so i went yesturday to try it on it fits perfect. I have my next fitting on the 12 of june.
8 week today and we will be up in the air on our way.

Hi Helen we have also booked with first choice to get married at St Pauls in September the reps have been great already! Where you having you meal? Are you all organised with your paperwork? Remember to tell us everything when you get back.

We have booked with Airtours Weddings. We are Staying at the Lindos View Apts and Having our reception at the Lindinan House Bar. Our Travel agent and Airtours wedding department have been great helping us get our paper work done and sent off in time. We have however booked our reception ourselves via the internet, e-mails and telephone calls which I have to say has been very easy. I have had my dress a while now and keep wanting to try it on We fly 5 weeks tomorrow and have 55 guests coming with us, they are not all staying at the same accomodation as us though they are all over some are in Lindos some in Pefkos. How many do you have going with you? What is your dress like? I am getting so excited now I am driving everyone mad

Well we dont know where to have our meal i think we are just gonna wait till we get there and just book somthing when we have had a look around. I went yesturday to the register office to pick up our certificate of no impediment and photocopyed it and got them sent off (there is a lot of messing about isnt there)

My god you have got lots of people going with you, there is 14 of us that are all booked and sorted but another 3 have said they are coming and looking for somwhere to stay at the moment. I carnt say what my dress is like coz my partner looks at this site as well, and i dont want him to know anything. All i can say is its ivory coz he knows that, what about yours

Hi Jo jo/ everyone !

I am having my reception at Nefeli on the beach I was quite limited because I have 73 definates so far with a possible extra 10 so I needed a large venue.

I have been to Lindos before but not that resturant, I loved the Lindian house but it could not accomodate us

Linos weddings have recomended Nefeli and the pictures look great. I am happy with my choice.

I am very excited today because DHL collected all my decorations/favours etc to take to Lindos they should be there on 14 May, not getting married until 27 Aug but I wanted time to replace them if they got lost.

It is a great idea if you have lots of stuff to take with you I have 3 large boxes and it was only £180.00

All yor weddings sound fantastic, I am so glad I decided on Lindos it has been the most stress free wedding ever!

Everything is done now all I have to do is loose a stone before 28 July when I have my fitting!

So who is first to tie the knot ??

If so that is right next to where we are staying, we are staying at the Lindia thalassa Hotel.
I think tinaandbob are the first to tie the knot on the 9th of june, and then we are not far behind her.

I also have a partner who reads this site so can't divulge much about the dress apart from it's also ivory and A line. Didn't intend to take so many with us we thought going away to get married would mean a small do but everyone and his wife wants to come with us We are staying for an extra week when everyone has gone home so that will be nice. We have never been to Lindos before so reading everyone's comments has been great, thanks everyone

One of the places we visited in Lindos specialises in wedding receptions/meals etc. We must have seen 10 wedding parties (including one couple from our hotel who spoke very highly) there during the 2 weeks. It is in Lindos though and not Pefkos and it is called Byzantino which is a wine bar with it's own catering and rooftop terrace for wedding receptions. I think the guys name was Mike and he seemed really friendly.

How exciting is this! We fly next wednesday so this time next week we will be there I had my hen night on Saturday it was great. We are just about ready now just packing to do and thats it. How are things going for you? I bet your getting excited too! Hi everyone, i am new to this and was wondering if there is anyone out there who has any tips for weddigns in Faliraki. We are getting married in sept this year at aghia apostoli church which is near faliraki/kalithea. Almost everything is organised i just need a hairdresser and photographer. The rep will probably suggest some as we are with first choice but i would like to shop around.
