Pefkos is a lovely resort with lots of places to eat and drink, everyone is very freindly and we met some great bar people like Stu in the Elamesa and Steve in the Rock bar, lovely food in the restaurants and i can say in 2 weeks we never had a bad meal but the best was in Terpsis and Nostalgia but the Mare Matteo does wicked pasta if you get all souvlakied out. St Thomas beach was the best but sitting at Lees Bar on the main beach at sunset is something else. What can I say lovely place and any one looking to book any where in the resort will enjoy it, some of the restaurants look like they are going to be pricey but they are all much of a muchness and a full 3 course meal including wine and a Mythos for 3 was 40 euros but you can get a great deal like we did at Alexanders if you like a good main course beer and wine for 18 euros (Hey happy days) If you have kids Fuse bar is a must and Lindsay is great they have Playstations and internet, air hockey and pool,The Eclipse is a definate must the pool and water fall are something else. Oh yeah and if you are missing good old Blighty PFG does the best cod chips and mushy peas

Pefkos is the perfect place for families and for people who are looking for a relaxing peaceful holiday. There are 3 beaches and all good, and suitable for children. The water was very warm in September. There are numerous places to eat in Pefkos and we tried at least ten of them and everymeal was good and also good value for money. Take a taxi to Lindus for 6 euros and spend the day there and in the evening have a meal on the rooftop of one of the eating places this is a must. I also recommend a trip to Lardos the square at night is just perfect and lots of nice eating place.
Pefkos is not a place for people who enjoy discos and clubs but there area few good pubs.
This was our first visit to Rhodes and we will return to Pefkos hopefully to the Karpathious if we can find out the tour operator for 2007.

There are plenty of supermarkets & shops, exchange palces in the town so you sholud not be stuck for anything. There are many restaurants & bars to choose from offering a wide choice of menu, in some case too much choice.

Pefkos is just the right size, plenty to keep you amused but not absolutely huge. The hotels etc are all limited to 2 or 3 floors, which mean it keeps a villagey feel rather than being dominated by high rise blocks. The main beach has watersports, and there are plenty of very good restaurants and bars, all incredibly friendly. The bright lights of Lindos are only a 6 euro taxi ride away if you want a livlier night, which we did a couple of times.
There are several beaches, due to the shape of the bay that Pefkos is on, all very clean and well looked after, and the main beach has the watersports etc.
We will be visiting Pefkos again next year.

The resort of Pefkos is one of the nicest I have ever been to. There is plenty going on without it being too touristy. Some places are like blackpool crossed with faliraki but not pefkos. The beach is also excellent. a sandy beach thats not too overcrowded (8 euros for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella for the day) and the sea is shallow for quite a way. Very safe for the little ones and so clear that you can go out and feed the fish.

Stayed here in the Pefki Village Resort (would definitely recommend) in Sep / Oct 06. Temperature still 28 degrees! We didnt actually stay in Pefkos much during the day as we hired a car from Marathon (again - would definitely recommend - no small print and no hidden extras like 'special insurance') and toured the island. Returned to Pefkos to eat and drink every night except one, all restaurants good, all bars had a good friendly atmosphere, lively but not boisterous. We thought Pefkos was an ideal base for a holiday in Rhodes. The locals are friendly and laid back.
Spent a couple of days in Lindos - fantastic beach and scenery but very pricey to eat and drink.
Do not eat in the 'Lindos Restaurant' right in the centre of Lindos old town. Everyone in there while we ate appeared to have similarly apalling meals but were quickly manhandled off the premises if they dared to complain by the huge Russian head waiter who made Vladimir Putin look cute and cuddly. Rhodes Town is also a must for a visit - one day is not enough though. Plenty to see and do. The architecture spans so many different civilisations. We also spent an afternoon and evening in Falaraki which is actually quite pleasant in september after the 18-30 crowd have departed. The beach and sea are fantastic with plenty of clean showers and toilets every 50 yards or so.
All in all, Pefkos offers plenty for those who just want to stay in the resort and relax but is also probably the ideal base for seeing the rest of Rhodes and then returning for a good night out in the resort itself.

We have visited many islands and resorts in Greece over the years but Pefkos remains our favourite. It is a totally laid back resort with numerous excellent restauants and there, for the most, is the entertainment, eating good food and having a drink afterwards and watching the world go by. There are a limited number of bars which are busy without being rowdy. Pefkos is ideally located to tour the South and West of this magnificent island, and not too far away to visit Rhodes Old Town - a must visit. The village of Lindos and the acropolis needs to be seen to be believed and is only a 5 minute taxi ride from Pefkos.

The resort was typical of many greek places, friendly locals and good restaurants. Overall Pefkos is clean and tidy, or at least as clean and free from litter as anywhere in England. There is some traffic but the pavements are wide and it is not unsafe - unless you stagger into the road drunk or let your children run wild in the street.

The area of Pefkos can look a little scruffy around the edges but you soon find that everything you need is only a few minutes away. There is plenty to do around the area and the rest of the Island. Lots of restaurants and bars - very friendly people, good food. Thoroughly enjoyable.
