Keep balcony doors closed at night. Got eaten alive by mosquitoes! Staff are extreamly friendly.

This is our sixth time to Pefkos, need I say more.

pefkos is very quite but never got bored. it was my first visit their, and have booked to go again in october o6. the best place to eat is enigma, the food is amazing. used to go in pefkos by night and the rock bar for a drink or few. went to eclipse once but felt like we were in a youth club so quickly left. really enjoyed the holiday and the weather was great which was even better!

Pefkos is a small resort however there are plenty of bars and restaurants which provide good entertainment and superb food. Zorbas restaurnat which is opposite the Evi have a greek night on thursdays and sundays and is well worth a visit although be prepared, they do expect you to join in a dance or two! The food there is very good and the service was excellent. We ate out every night and to be honest every place we visited was superb and offered good value for money.
The bus service in pefkos is very good and we were able to visit other towns easily. Falaraki is an excellent day out with loads of shops and has a fantastic beach and is only 4 euros by bus. I would recommend going to Lindos and Lardos which is only minutes away by bus and cost about 2 euros each way.
We never visited the main beach in pefkos as there was a small private beach to the rear of our apartments. However this stretch of beach was very clean and not crowded at all. You do have to pay for the sunbeds though and at 4 euros each can be expensive if you are in a large group also the entrance into the water is very pebbly which can make it difficult and slippery to walk on. The overall standard of the resort and the beaches was excellent and very clean. We will definately visit this resort again.

We stayed in Rhodes at the Pefkos resort. The resort was fantastic lots of bars & restraunts Pefkos itself was very clean & in a good locatation 2 mins from Lindos which is also a fantastic place. We hired a car which was very cheap so seen most of the island, The Pefkos Beach was very clean & water is very clear, seen lots of fish, there are a couple of taverna's on the beach with good food & good prices, We will definatley be coming back.

There were plenty of places to eat,never had a bad meal in 2 weeks. There were quite a few places to eat on the way to the beach that also had a pool that you could use. Drinks were quite reasonable as was the food. The beach was sandy and the sea was lovely in the mornings, then after lunch it went quite choppy, great for the kids and lilos, if you took bread into the sea you could feed the fish, the water was so clear ,they came right up to you,
Didnt need much entertainment happy with the beach,eating and drinking somewhere different every night. Must go to Waterpark, but save money and do it yourself rather than through the reps. Also Rhodes Town go by Bus its much cheaper.

Pefkos, although quite small, has excellent bars, restaurants and shops. Most are situated along one long street. There are a few small supermarkets, the size of our local Spar/Mace, for basics. Plenty of souvenir shops selling various qualities of greek pottery, Ouzo, dolls, jewellery etc. We had some excellent meals in Terpsis (just down the hill and to the right of Karpathios)and Enigma and Coliseum - superb for real night time restaurant quality food and good value at around 35 to 40 euro for an adult 3 and childs 2 course with wine and juice!. The beach is a small treck from Karpathios, but well worth a visit. Clean and the sea is not too deep for kids to play around in. Loungers and parasols available but be prepared to pay around 6 euros in hire. Bus service is a bit hit and miss but there are 3 or 4 places for car hire along the main street for anyone wanting to drive - recommended if you want to really see the sights of the island without the time limits of arranged tours. A great child friendly place for anyone not looking for the manic buzz of the nightclubs!!

Around Pefkos was beautiful, with many restaurants and bars, Particularly Terpsis and Pane Di Capo - our favourites! We never once felt in danger, or threatened at all. It is geared for couples/families rather than party groups (see faliraki for that) but there were some late night cocktail bars where the atmosphere was great. (Dont worry, the music is turned right down after midnight as consideration for residents) Lindos is only 10 minutes away and has several nightclubs if you want a night out.
The beach was good, very tidy and nice and quiet, with plenty of amenities to hand.
The only gripe I have is with the profiteering nature of the travel companies; for instance they would rent me a car for 3 days for 'just' 153 euros, but you can go direct (with identical insurance) at around 45 euros for 3 days. My advice is to shop around, and only book via your rep if you have no other choice.
That said, it didnt detract from the holiday one bit, and I would recommend this place to anyone. Again, Top Marks!!!

I was excited about the resort before I even got there as my friend and Sister had raved about it.
It is ideal for couples and families, as it has a very relaxing feel to it, but the bars and restaurants are brilliant too.
Lindos was only 9 euros in a taxi and well worth a visit. We went in the evening for a meal and drinks. It was very beautiful, but I am glad we stayed in Pefkos.
The one and only draw back from the whole holiday, is that you have to travel some distance to get any where else apart from Lindos. Such as the airport, Rhodes Town and Falaraki. But it is well worth it.
This is the best holiday we have had.
It is ideal for couples and families, as it has a very relaxing feel to it, but the bars and restaurants are brilliant too.

Pefkos is a little piece of heaven.
The food is on a par with anything i have had at home, in particular Enigma, Nostalgia, Coliseum and my favourite Two Bothers. Prices were amazing we never paid more than 45 euros and that was for 2 courses each and a litre of wine!!!!
We went through to Lindos 0ne night which cost 6 euros in a taxi, but i was glad to be staying in Pefkos. The beaches are stunning, in particular the main beach, where the sunbeds are 4euros for the day, for this you get a sunbed which is padded and very, very comfy and also an umbrella.
There is no entertainment as such, but the bar staff will keep you entertained. Eclipse bar is open until, i beleieve, the last person leaves, and Pefkos By Night, is very entertaining. These 2 bars are the most popular at night.
Children appear to be very well catered for, an the staff are so friendly to everyone
There are no 'british style pubs' in Pefkos, which i am very pleased about, and i really hope it stays ths way. All in all i had such a relaxing hoilday, my only complaint is that i never booked 2 weeks. We will definitley be back.
