Safest resort we've stayed in. With three teenage boys all wanting to go their separate ways we had no worry at all about their safety in resort. No crime or trouble, they were free to spend time in the bars etc with the friends they made at the appartments. As its a small resort we often kept bumping into each other so its easy to check things are ok. Oasis and Fuse bar were excellent just across from matina apparts.

The resort of Pefkos is quite small, but there are enough bars and restaurants.
Try the Two Brothers, The Collisium and The Enigma.
A visit to Lindos and Rhodes town is a must, we took a taxi to Lindos {6 euros)one evening and really enjoyed it.
The resort was very clean, and though we didn't visit the beach, we were told it was nice.
There was no entertainment in the resort.
We would certainly visit Pefkos again.

Pefkos is fantastic for a nice traquil and relaxing holiday. It's aimed towards mainly couples and families with older children. We ate at the same resturant for 7 days although we did try others this one beat it. It was called Nikkis Steak & Grills. The food was amazing and very reasonable we paid on average 20 euro's for 2 large dinners and drinks although you do have to wait a while for it, its worth it. We didn't see any drunken louts or a football shirt in sight!! There are bars that open till 4am if you like to stay out on the town. There's plenty of supermarkets, chemists, and loads of resturants. But most of them close around 11.30pm which is great because there was no problem with sleeping. There were quite a few bike and car hire places. Everyone seemed very friendly and we would definately go back there again.

Pefkos is lovely and not built up as much as neighbouring towns. If you enjoy relaxed, lazy days this is the resort for you. In the evenings there are many bars, restaurants and cocktails lists longer than your arm to try. (Music volume in Greece has to be turned down at midnight, the bars will tend to stay open for as long as you want to enjoy them though!!
We hired a car to explore the island and was well worth it. You'll find some amazing greek treasures to explore!

Pefkos is a lovely resort, beach is beautiful and very safe for children. Sandy with lovely clear water which selves down gently. Good for snorkelling.
Main evening entertainment was the restaurants, lots of good places to each and never had a bad meal whilst there.

Pefkos is a lovely resort which we found to be extremely clean.
There are plenty of bars some which hold quiz nights, but we always went back to the hotel for the entertainment.
The beach was lovely although we do prefer to be by the pool.
Whilst in pefkos we ate at some lovely restaurants, we met some lovely people and would definately stay at the Matina again.
All in all a perfect holiday, wish we were still there.

We walked to the main strip of restaurants in the evening. The resort is quite hilly and some pathways are made up of rubble (We suggest good flat walking shoes). When you get onto the main strip just be careful when you are walking on the paths as there are square holes every so often. This resort is not really geared for younger families with pushchairs or for anyone with mobility problems.
We found some wonderful restaurants, our favourites being Hellas and Terpsis, also Enigma is nice if you can get on the balcony at the back. Best to get there before 8 o'clock if you want a table. Nearly all the restaurants cater for children. Out of all the restaurants we visited in our 2 weeks stay, the only one we would tell you to avoid is Al Zorbas. Food was o.k., but they tried to overcharge us and several other people as well. They were totally disorganised and hadn't got a clue who had ordered what!
Entertainment is pretty low key which suited us.
We would recommend the Glass Bottomed Boat Trip to Lindos. You will see it advertised in various places along the main road. I think it took us about 20 - 30 minutes to walk to where the boat leaves from, so allow yourself plenty of time from the apartments. The Captain of the boat will certainly make it a trip to remember!!!
We also recommend taking a bus into Rhodes Town which worked out quite cheap. We had a fantastic day looking around Rhodes Old Town. There is a tourist information across the road from the bus stop in the town, so if you need a map or anything they are very helpful.
Bus timetables and prices are available from reception at Lindia Thalassa. Just ask and the receptionist will give you a copy.
We were a bit disappointed with the beach as it is very narrow and is full of sunbeds. Not much room for children to build sandcastles. It's also a bit rocky in places. We found the best part of the beach was in the middle of the bay. There are showers at certain points and it seemed to be quite clean.
Pefkos has got to be the best resort we have ever been to for selection of restaurants and food quality. Although it was a bit of a trek in the evening from the apartment, it was well worth it as the food was wonderful.
We are sure that anyone holidaying in Pefkos will not go home disappointed.
