Resort was lively with plenty of bars and eateries. The world cup started the week we were there and so was busy. even though there is no sandy beach I would return again.

I had no problem with the resort. Plenty of good bars and places to eat. I recommend the Incogneto - superb food. There is no sandy beach - but there are plenty of places to sit in private areas if you dont mind paying a small daily fee

resort just has nothing to offer. but watch out for the timeshare reps from wigan who stand out side the hotels watching out for new arrivals ready to pounce ,they will promise you the earth just to get you to go to a presentation (3 hours we were there) but you will get nothing

Qwara is a small resort, with a short walk to Bugibba which is very British orientated e.g. english pubs. The bus service in Malta is brilliant 50cents and you can go anywhere, the bus station in Qwara is great easy to use and everyone is very helpful.
The resort is clean but as you walk out of the resort area it can tend to be quite untidy and quite dirty. There is no beach in this area, but there are rock pools, but don't bother as everyone just seems to use these areas as a toilet for their dogs!!!
All in all we enjoyed Malta and would go back, although next time we may try St.Julians as Qwara was a little quiet.

Qawra is very nice, not very good for people with walking difficulties. Some lovely english bars try the Bell Craig and Mark have recently opened this bar, the food is excellent and they have on tap beer.

The resort wasnt that lively, but it soon was when arrived it soon changed. The support from locals when England were playing was fantastic.St Julians was more lively had a great time there. Found some local bars, Good fellows and Rose and Crown the a club called fuegos salsa bar. They loved us had loads of drinks bought us. Only thing was 7 late nights tired us out.
went to the blue lagoon wish we had stayed at our lido as it was a disapointing very small beach and once all the vistors came it was rammed. However 2 of our party did go to the markets and Gozo and a few other trips and enjoyed it.

Stayed in Qawra Buggiba for 1 week, not long enough, my family loved our visit
the whole resort was very clean, with ample shopping and plenty of street bars and restaurants to relax and watch the world go by.
The resort has an excellent bus service to take you anywhere on the island. Please keep the old buses, loads of character. A lack of sandy beach was a disappointment for my son; however, we did enjoy watching a beach being made and is probably finished as I write this report.
I urge your council not to build more hotels as this will remove the character of Buggiba. I would not hesitate in booking another holiday to this resort.

The beach alongside the hotel was rocky, but very clean, there are ladders provided to get into the sea and the water was amazingly clear and clean.
The nightlife has something for everyone and we thouroughly enjoyed it all!

Busy area with plenty to do in the evenings.
No sandy beaches in the area but you can swim off the rocks, just watch out for the jelly fish.
We visited two sandy beaches by bus (50 cents each way).golden bay was very dirty and had oil in the sea and Melleiha beach which was far superior both had sun beds and umbrellas available for rent about 4 Maltese pounds for 2 beds and a brolly.

No beach just rocks, see very clean but wear something on your feet if you do go in. Very English plenty of bars and shops. The buses are an experience in them selves, you have to try them!
