The resort is very clean there is plenty of entertainment at pubs and bars in the area the locals are very friendly.
The beach most pebbles are very clean and tidy.
There is plenty of places to go in this area and we love to go again and travel some more different places.

Malta is a wonderful Island there was so much to sea and the tour guides made the days very special we did not go on the beach because we were so busy taking in all the history of Malta would highly recommend this as a great holiday

I found the resort of Quwra to be very dirty but we were moved to the resort of Buggiba the next day - which is within walking distance of each other - not impressed at all, too much building work going on and the streets were not clean. There was no beach, if you wanted the beach you had to get a bus. Would not visit any of these two resorts again and would not even consider Malta as a holiday destination

Bugibba’s/Qawra's back streets were littered with discarded bottles and other man made debris. Malta’s authorities really do need to get their act together and provide litter receptacles off the main streets. Apart from the main promenade in Bugibba, there were no litter bins to be seen.
Bugibba is quiet in October - it can get very busy and noisy in the high season. The relatively quiet conditions suited us.
Entertainment at this time of the year is usually confined to a live musical act in the larger hotels, which are open to the general public, or the larger bars.
There is no beach of any consequence in Qawra/Bigibba - all rocks.

Qawra was very nice but didn't have much going on. Bugibba wasn't too far to walk although its quite hilly if you have any mobility problems. There wasn't really a beach in Qawra but the local bus service is great. It costs pence to go all around the island and they run every few minutes.

The resort of Qwara and Bugibba this is the third time we have stayed in. We find it a nice attractive resort plenty of bars and restaurants and shops. A good base to explore the island by its local transport.

Streets not litter free. Plenty bars with a good variety of entertainment, tours and boat trips. Not the sandiest of coasts, but plenty facilities for swimming and diving.

All in all the resort was very good, plenty of bars/restaurants to choose from if you are on a self catering basis.
The shops are plentiful but as usual with any holiday resort, each shop tends to sell the same, so once you have been in one, you have seen it all, but there are lots of little gifts that you can browse at during your visit.
