The resort was well stocked with bars and restaurants but everywhere looked filthy, rubble, litter and squashed cockroaches lined the pavements and for some reason there looked to be five or six half sized lamposts with catering sized empty tomatoe tins on then covering the tops probably hiding wires.the whole of the area was at best a dump!
Even when we went to visit the capital(take the buses at your own risk)it was filthy and the tunnel leading to the harbour for the boat ride smelt like a public toilet.
For a small island that relies on tourism so much why dont they think to clean it because there some lovely sights around there like the blue lagoon but even the sea there was like a floating rubbish dump such a shame but that was the fault of tourists not using litter bins if there are any!

The hotel is in a great location.
On the seafront and 5mins walk over the top or 20 min stroll along the prom from Buggiba where there are plenty of shops for the ladies to browse.
Very popluar square with bars, cafes & restaurants.

The beach is a rocky beach and quite dangerous, not very good for small children.

The hotel is situated in a good position easy to get to the promenade which is lovely with little inlets to sit and watch the sea.
Although no beach, this was no problem as there are others within easy reach. Nice shops litteraly outside the front of the hotel with good restaurants.
Would definitely come back to this hotel again.

It was clean we found plenty to entertain us and although the beach was a rocky one it was still nice. Can't wait to go back.

The resort itself was ok it was clean, but you had to dodge the timesale guys who would not take no for an answer. There are some really nice Restuarants and the food was of a high standard. As there is no beaches in Qwara it is advisable for families with small children not to stay here.

I was slightly disappointed with the ammount of litter on the streets in Malta. Where we live you just don't see it so it is a bit of a culture shock to see although I have to say it wasn't what I would call off putting.
Whenever we went inside anywhere in the resorts though we always found them to be very clean.
As for the resort entertainment we can't really comment as we were all inclusive in our hotel we didn't really see a lot of the entertainment side of Malta. One thing I would say though is if you have never been on a bus in Malta it is worth having a go.
As soon as you get on your transport from the airport it is apparant that the roads are awful. The pot holes are more like crators and if you are not sitting back your bum lifts off the seat.
On one of the excursions we went on the travel rep called the potholes 'Malta's little treasures' Honestly sometimes I would have rather been on a big dipper at the fairground!
The buses are a definate must though. It takes you back about twenty years to our public transport, maybe even further back!
The beaches in Malta are a bit sparse but the ones that we did visit were excellent and the water is amazingly clear.
If you do visit Malta then I would highly recommend a trip to the Blue Lagoon in Comino, it's a boat ride away but the water is so so so blue!!!!
We will definately be returning to Malta, it is a beautiful country!

The resort is central for the main bus route to all the island and there is plenty of shops bars and resturants to suit all tastes.
A walk up tourist street will be a good place as many of the shops stay open till 10 at night the only downside to the island is the amount of timeshare touts who hover like bad flies.
They will go away if you say no and do not be fooled by there offer of vouchers if you have a chat with them as a lot of the major tour companies will not honour them so be careful.
The square is a great place to go at night with music and bars all told this is a great place for couples and families.
