We were a bit dubious of going to this hotel after reading some bad reviews! However, it was lovely check-in went smoothly and free armbands were given out to any children who could not swim.

Rooms a bit small and basic but we only went in them to get changed and sleep. We had plenty of clean towels and bedding after a couple of accidents!! Earplugs might be a good idea for sleeping as anybody shutting a door or shouting during the night may wake you!security men great at dealing with any noisy neighbours!

The food was ok and there is loads of choice even for the fussiest of eaters we all had plenty to eat and never went hungry or thirsty. The kids could help themselves to as much food and drink as they wanted and we had plenty of san miguel and vodka! There are also plenty of shorts to choose from and the longest we waited for a drink in the queue was a minute.

Entertainment was something for everyone we had great fun on grease night even had the kids dancing!

The complex was kept clean all day and night by the cleaners who were round all day till about 1 at night didnt see much rubbish around considering it is a huge complex.

The pools and stream are great for the kids who were happy all day in them. take a look at the water park next door it only cost 8 euros for the kids and about 12 euros for adults. You can even get a a stamp to go back to the hotel for a bite to eat and get back into the park again!

There is a few bars and a spar across the road with English food, karaeoke bingo and telly. We visited these a few times for a change. The town is about a 20min stroll away and is lovely. we also visited the market which is good but get a taxi as it quite a long walk in the sun and it only cost about 5 euros.

Overall we had a good holiday the staff are friendly and helpful and it is clean. The lifts can be a bit dodgy but that is helped by people pressing the buttons on every floor! We were on the fourth floor so found it quicker to walk!

We would visit again but would definitely take some earplugs!!

Myself, husband and 8 month old daughter where told on arrival to the complex that we would be staying in the Saturno hotel.

The hotel was very clean we saw staff cleaning the public areas from approximately 7am - 7pm.The room had 2 double beds and a cot which did make it a bit compact.

The only fault I would say about this hotel is the lack of hot water between approx 5.30pm and 7.30pm and the length of time you wait for a lift, this can be frustrating when you have a baby or small children.

The staff where helpful and pleasent. If you have children from the age of 8 onwards you will not see them all day as this is definately a complex for children, I heard someone call it Butlins with sun. Adult entertainment was ok but could be better.

The food was nice, abit repetative with pork on the menu every lunch and tea time.

Even though it was not the perfect holiday it was by no means the holiday from hell and considering it was my 8 month daughter's first time abroad she ate all the food from the restaraunt never got ill and enjoyed being in the pool. However, it did get busy the weekend we came home, dont know if I would go in the school holidays but would go back.

If you have a budget and children this all inclusive complex is ideal as they can eat and drink all day from the snack bar. Give it a try!

I was dreading the holiday after reading the reviews, but i was extremley suprised as this hotel was fab. It was busy as we were there over half term and when it rained there was a lack of seating in the inside area, but we went to our room that was large enough to do this and played games.

The food choice was amazing and we were spoiled for choice, the rooms were great and we were in a family room and this was great as the children had a seperate bedroom, the location was ok although we were a little way from the main town we had a number of shops and bars over the road from us. The facilities of the hotel were amazing with 5 + swimming pools and many other facilities.

The only downside of the hotel was the lifts, they were not very reliable. I would not recommend the hydropark as it was very expensive and there was not alot there. If you want good trips we would recommend pirates, the western water park, and marine land.

I would well recommend this hotel for families who dont want fantastic facilites but apprechiate it may be busy because of this, i would not recommend this hotel if you are expecting a quiet realxing peaceful holiday.

We have just returned from a 10 night stay at the Jupiter hotel. We were dubious after reading the reports, but went with an open mind, as everyone has different expectations.

We were not disapointed at all and would definitely recommend staying here - its is brilliant for families.

We were on the 7th floor and the lifts can be a bit slow, but when servicing such a large hotel with so many people, a few delays are expected. The rooms were basic, but comfortable and were cleaned every day. The balcony was small, but it did have a table with 2 chairs there - not that we used it. The shower was great, but there was a small pool in the bathroom everytime, but it didn't cause too many problems, we just wore flipflops in there.

The food was brilliant, always something there for everyone - we really couldn't complain at all. Some people did - I have no idea why, maybe just too fussy!

The hotel was really clean, no bugs any where, not in the rooms, eating areas, toilets - I don't think I saw one ant! There were always people around sweeping and cleaning up the rubbish - you really couldn't fault the cleanliness.

All the hotel staff were polite and happy in their work.

The Club Mac entertainment team work really hard! There is something going on all day every day both for adults and children. The evening entertainment wasn't excellent, but they put their heart and soul into it. There were some shows not done by the entertainment team - they were fine too.

Children are so well catered for, there is a childrens village with play park, there is the lake which has the pedlos on (free before 1pm) and there are about 4 pools suitable for babies/toddlers. The choice of pools are brilliant, though we did get up and put our towels on sunbeds as thats what everyone seemed to do.

There is a bus service to the beach which runs every half an hour. Its only about a 20 minute walk though.

Yes the corridors can be a bit noisy in the evenings, but it didn't keep us awake and was only now and then.

We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would all go there again!

Ages of people travelling were 38, 37, 36, 32, 14, 2 x 8yrs, 4 and 1.

Enjoy it!

As our first family holiday abroad we couldn't have asked for better.

The hotel was cleaned throughout the day and was spotless.

Food was great and what a variety! Not even the children were able to complain (they are aged 5, 3 & 15 months).

The hotel was a bit of a walk out of town but you had everything you could want there anyway really. Staff were great, and also the entertainment. Lots of stuff going on all the time, no chance to get bored!!

Three pools to choose from and each had loads of sunbeds and room, always somebody around clearing away any glasses etc.

This hotel will set the standard of our next one!!!

We went to this hotel in 2006 ( a familly of four, children aged 15 and 10) upon arrival we were quickly ushered into the lobby where there was alot of confusion with rooms, to find that we'd been crossed off the list and been given a wrong room. when this was finally sorted we got the correct room only to find that it was tiny, hardly any room to breath and very very dirty.

We tried to look on the brightside of the hotel as not to put a downer on the hoiday and so went downstairs to look around only to go outside and see drunked men running around the pool. one of them approached us and asked " are those your kids" and then after saying yes they replied "oh okay cus we were gonna throw them in the pool". that night aswell we couldnt sleep due to someones child running up and down the corridor screaming and then a mother shouting the childs name. there was constant disturbance

The whole complex was unclean and had an uncomfortable atmosphere as there were so many drunken people shouting and the staff werent much help. we had a look in the other two hotels on site and although they could be said to be slightly better, they were still terrible.

The staff were extremely unhelpful when we were trying to get help and information as they got impatient and tried to ignore us.

The food was cold and was all the same,it was all simple food (burgers, chips, pizza) nothing really different.

We stayed for the night we arrived and then demanded a better room but to find there were none. We were then offered to be transferred to a different hotel near by and accepted as we wouldnt be able to enjoy ourselves in that roudy enviroment.

The hotel we got moved to was a nice hotel in porta polenta. this hotel was excellent the food was superb and we had a great holiday by the pool. paying the extra to be moved and be able to actually enjoy our holiday was well worth it. and we werent the only familly that moved! We were one of 5 famillies in that day! the hotel we moved to purposely kept rooms spare for transferring famillies from the Jupiter.

Over all we found this hotel to be terrible, and its a good job we moved or our holiday would have been ruined!

I think it depends what kind of holiday you want. If you want to relax in peace and quiet this is deffinately not the place. If you want to get drunk every night to numb out the other shouting guests then this it the place for you.

We went for a last minute break to this hotel and were absolutely amazed how good it was, definetly more than a 3 star.

The staff were plentiful and always available and there were many activities available to do.the evening entertainment was a bit boring for a young couple like us! though acceptable if you want a chill.

The hotel was exceptionally clean with daily room/bed tidy, no bugs in sight!

The food was a little repetative though for such a large number of people to cater for, what do you expect! Though the food was available at regular times during the day, no need to go hungry! Snack bar available in day-brill if you are peckish!

The hotel was an easy 20 minute walk away from the port, which is definitely worth a visit- visit Ramons bar in the port for a truly excellent local meal! where the locals go!

Truly memorable holiday, would definetly go back!!!

We have just come home from Club Mac hotel and all of us would not return again.

The rooms were dirty, the lifts kept breaking down and if your on 10th floor tough you would have to walk, one evening a child got stuck in tne lift and the staff were not bothered.

Children would spit down the stairs and didn't respect the hotel.

It was raining all week not that any body can help that but all the entertainment was outside so we didn't find that much good! All the games machines would break down and if you had put money in them you wouldn't get it back.

Our bedroom was full of ants and so was the sitting area downstairs.

We didn't find the staff very helpful.

We didn't like the food it was cold and not very nice, the children didn't have much to pick from and we all know how fussy they are!!!

While we were staying there someone had their room broken into so remember to get a safe! It was their kids room!

The walls in the bedroom are rubbish so you can hear everything so if you want a lay in forget it.

There are also no chairs on the balconies and no hairdryers so remember to take your own!

After reading some of these reviews, we were a bit dubious about going, but decided to make the best of it. And are we glad we did! We really have no complaints - only about the mosquitos that seemed to love us, so make sure you buy a really good insect repellant before you go. We bought some over there but it didn't seem to work. The hotel was very good, there was a lot there for children to do and our girls aged 4 and 6 loved it. There are 3 main pools and we recommend the pool closest to the holiday village as its great for kids, not too deep. We couldn't get the girls out of this pool for love or money! The 4 year old can be a bit fussy with food but she ate really well at the hotel - they had a kids buffet at lunch time and evening which impressed us (our hotel last year did not do a kids buffet despite the brochure saying it did). There was a wide range of choices and some of the food was cooked as you watched, so it was nice and fresh. If you don't fancy going to the restaurant at lunch time, you can get burgers, hot dogs, chips, sandwiches or rolls from the snack bars by the pools. The drink was also good, lots of choices for the girls (although they preferred bottled water) but I'll warn you that the sangria is stronger then it looks!! Don't ask!!

Although it is all inclusive, you do have to pay for a couple of things for the kids in the holiday village. There is trampolining (2 euros), a bouncy castle (2 euros), motorised mini cars and motor bikes (3 euros) and all were for only about 10/15 mins. The park is good for the kids (free) and we also enjoyed the pedalos - which is free in the morning only. They also have a train which does not run all the time and that is also free.

We didn't join in much of the day time activities as we were with the girls in the pool but we did really enjoy the evening entertainment. Sister Act and the Rocky Horror Show have to be seen to be believed! It was hilarious and very good. The girls enjoyed the mini disco and the evening entertainment staff were brilliant, they really threw themselves into it. The First Choice kids clubs reps were miserable in comparison! They did have a kids club with First Choice but our girls only went twice. We were only there for a week and they preferred to play outside with their new friends. They said the kids club was a bit boring!

The hotel is in a really quiet area and there are not many shops etc unless you take a long walk. There is a supermarket and a spar shop on the road opposite that caters to most of your needs. There are 3 "British" pubs on this road that show british tv - my husband was impressed to see english subtitles on one of the tv's on one of his walkabouts!

The rooms were really clean, beds made daily and towels changed every 3 days. There was also constant hot water - what a luxury!

It really is a good hotel and we would go back again - with a stronger insect repellant this time. Lots for the kids to do and even though it was the end of October, the weather was good. We did have one thunderstorm with some rain but that was about 4pm and the next day was fantastic weather.

Holidays are what you make of them - so why not try this resort for yourself?
