But as you only sleep there ok for a week we found that there was enough storage for clothes etc but only 3 of us in the room.
We were on the 2nd flor so lifts not a problem. But we were by the delivery end so trucks collecting rubbish and delivering goods were arriving all hours of the night.

Yes the complex is very big but it is kept extremely tidy by the hard working staff tidying up after the lazy brits that can't put a cup in the bin.
The rooms are quite small but you only sleep in them and get showered, but are very clean in need of an update. Cleaners are around every day changing towels and sheets if you want.
The food is brill you can't go hungry as there is that much of a choice , and places to eat restaurants or snack bars.
The staff work extremely hard and are always friendly towards the children.
The entertainment has vastly improved from last year with a new 1000 arena(circus) over by the lake doing bingo and shows every night , leaving the other 2 stages for children at the jupiter and laid back music and games at the saturno.
I am already looking to book up for next year only being home 3 days my kids are missing the animation team that kept them very busy in the kids club.
Don't be put off by all the bad reports someone somewhere always can find a fault with something, if you have booked give it a go, but be prepared for the size of the complex and times by 4 per room so at the busiest times you may have upto 4000 guests on site all trying to eat and drink and swim and sunbathe just like you. You get to know what times to eat when it is not at it's busiest!

My advice for when you go are as follows: -
1. volunteer for everything. If they need people to come up for an activitie or challenge, DO IT! I did it and i've never laughed so much. I did Roman Night, which was very dodgy but sooo funny. Think of as many songs as possible before doing this as i got quite stuck on the quick song thinking game. I also did the Sangria drinking competition, which I won!!! Although I was sick that night. Oops :( Oh do the Pool Action its short but fun!!!
2. Join in with the activities such as Volleyball, Water Polo, Archery, Football, Darts and more. I wish I went to them earlier! Giorgio, Terri and Viktor especially make it fun and your always laughing.
3. Try the ham sandwiches in the Bambu Hut I got hooked on them every lunch time. Plus it stops you having the same food for lunch as Dinner.
4. Do the Bingo and watch the shows after especially the shows with the Club Mac Entertainers. They are very funny and I wish I took my video camera and not just my camera.
5. Take the free bus to the beach but at least once WALK!!! As you see a lot of Alcudia on the way. Also if you step outside the hotel there are british pubs and a spar but if you walk left and go all the way down there are a lot of interesting shops, restraunts and entertainment.
6. Take trips out if you have the money an adult is usually about 30 Euros. There is a water park next to the hotel if you don't fancy the hour or more drives. I'd go to the Western Water Park and The Pirates Show.
7. Not everything is free like you are told. There are trampolines, electric bull riding, kayaks, swan boats, henna tattoos, champagne and more from about 4 Euros up. It is still worth having a go!!!
8. If you have kids they should go to the kids club, teen disco, kids activites or the swim or football club. My little brother learnt how to swim 2 lengths in just five 30 minute lessons! He loved it too.
The clubs were a hit with him and my other brother too, especially the kids film night, chocolate party and Splash Attack.
9. Bring Mosquito spray or anything else you would need from a pharmacy as it is expensive there. Also to see the doctor its 70 Euros but you get this back on your holiday insurance. I got bitten millions of times and they do sting!!! The entertainers and rep also got badly bitten but they often have sprays or cream. Giorgio sprayed me with repelent and i didnt get bitten all night!!! You can buy a sound thing on the plane which repels them but i didnt try that. Bring Bite cream as the spray doesn't always work and it helps the stinging.
My overall rating is 4 out of 5 because the entertainment, staff, activites, area and enviroment is great. BUT the rooms are very dusty at times and your feet are often black by the time you get into bed. You also only get towels every 3 days so when you go to the beach or in the pool then have shower you would just be putting the sand or chlorine back on yourself. You also run out of toilet roll and have to ask for more. There are also drunken teenagers outside till late at night. You do have coloured bands to show adults from kids but its usually that they get someone older to get it for them.
The food is another bad thing. Its really good for the first week but then your sick of roughly the same food everyday. I was quite alright with it as nothing is worse than school food but my family started going to the Jolly Rodger.
I've already said about the cleanliness in the rooms but around the resort you do find guests rubbish such as cups, tissues and food boxes. There are people cleaning all the time though. I'm saying this as there are plenty of bins so please when you go if you would like a clean enviroment put your stuff in the bins!!!
As I said before. The entertainment is great, during the day and night. You often find people like Carlos or Belen(Pinky) going around dressed really silly. Such as Carlos dressed as an army woman or Pinky as a Latino Dancer or the freaky family.
I only went to the beach twice as I'm not a fan of beaches. It was lovely though but very busy. The water is warmer than the hotel pools and its a change from the hotels music and kids playing to hear people laughing and people shouting MELONS, GRAPES as they go round selling them. There is a free bus back to the hotel which can get full towards the end and begining of the day. You can also take blown up boats. etc on the bus.
HAVE A GREAT TIME IF YOU GO AND REMEMBER A HOLIDAY IS ONLY AS FUN AS YOU MAKE IT BY JOINING IN. DON'T SIT AROUND GETTING A TAN I GOT A BETTER TAN DOING THE ACTIVITIES THAN MY MUM WHO SUNBATHED ALL THE TIME.

Food is vey good, you have breakfast in the Marte, Lunch is in the Jupiter Hotel and evening meal in the Marte.
There is always room to sit in the restaurant as the staff are very efficient is cleaning and preparing the tables. There is a snack bar near the Jupiter Pool where you can get burgers, chips, hotdogs, packed sandwhiches. This can get a bit messy with people leaving there empty trays on the tables etc. Ice Cream is available from the kiosk at the childrens village.
Food can get repetitive the second week, but its the same everywhere on holiday you can only eat so much, before you begin to get fed up of eating.
There are never many people queing up at the bars, the most at night I ever saw is about 10 people at the Circus stage (where the main entertainment is) but the que goes down so quickly. Spirits are the local brands but very large measures!! soft drinks are brand names eg pepsi, sprite, orange is KAS (local brand). Lager is San Miguel, they do serve in plastic glasses most of the time, but if you asked they would serve you in a glass.
The entertainment is very good for families, the main entertainment is at the circus stage, bingo at 9pm, then the main evening entertainment, the club mac entertainment team are very good, and put their heart into everything they do.
It is about a 25-30 minute walk into Alcudia centre. There is alot of children, running around until 12-1am, but they are on holiday. It does cater for the children the complex, but if the kids are happy so are the parents.

We felt sorry for the security guards having to deal with these people. The chill out area was nice to get away from the crowds.
Lifts were a pain,we could never get a seat for the evening entertainment.
Meals were very nice, meat dishes were cooked in the resturant which was nice. Bar staff were very friendly, flay was great!.
Alcudia beach is lovely very safe for young childen, hire a pedalo its great fun. Nice beach bars and restaurants if you want to get away from the hotel. Well reccomend the pirate show in Magaluf,we booked at Jupiter reception who went out of their way to get us tickets for the show, well worth it.
Its a good 25 minute walk to the beach but there is a free bus outside the hotel.
The rooms could do with updating, but the airconditioning was lovely.
Great for families with young children who like to just stay at the hotel, but never again for us.

Hotel was very clean maids in every day to clean your room.
Hotel staff very friendly.
I would say location of the hotel is a bit far from everything.
The food in hotel good lots to eat although repeats itself every few days, my two kids very fussy never ate a thing.
The entertainment was okay but had to be down very early to get a seat. The best part about entertainment was reps and end of night doing there dances with the kids - great. Plenty for kids to do if they join in footabll, water polo, and volleyball in water dances in water.
Found the hotel like big Butlins holiday camp.
Hotel rooms very small and no cupboard space lived out suitcases.
The noise in hotel very loud starts at about seven in morning screaming kids running up and down landing. Late and night loud noise people coming in drunk and slamming doors and people fighting.
Oh another thing if you want a sunbed to lie on you need be up about 6.30am if not you won

The hotel was permanently being cleaned to the extent of having the bar floor washed and polished around you at seven in the evening. We would visit again everything thought of for comfort and convenience, life guards on all pools from 10.00 am till 7pm.
Food was lovely something to suit everyone different choices every night.
The staff were all very helpful polite and obliging the only down side was the swipe cards for the lifts and rooms became a bit of a nuisance. The lifts broke a couple of times but soon repaired. A tap broke off in our room and it was replaced within l0 minutes of phoning reception a maintenance man arrived with a new tap.
Already pricing for next year but maybe a bit earlier in the year, to avoid lots of kids.

Rooms are basic but clean, shower was powerful at peak times. We did notice that our dirty towels had been re-hung but soon let reception know this was unacceptable.
Food is very good with an excellent variety to suit all tastes.
Hotel is slightly remote however, the hydro waterpark is right outside one of the hotels, and it is only a 10-15 min walk to the beach and main shops, horse and carriage ride to the beach was only 10 euro.
Hotel staff were very helpful most, most of them I noted were English.
The lifts are a nightmare! offering a magical mystery tour whether you wanted it or not.
Entertainment was good at the amphitheatre Get there early if you want a table but plenty of seating around. Bingo was good money you could pay for your holiday if you won.

The food was ok, but I found that as a vegetarian, there was little choice, although I certainly didn't starve. The snack bar was ok for things like chips and burgers, but again, there was not much for veggies. The hotel restaurant was very clean and alhtough the food got a little repetative, it was well presented and easily accessed.
I never had to queue longer than a few minutes to get a drink and if you want soft drinks, you just help yourself anyway.
The location of Alcudia was lovely, very scenic with lots to do in the surrounding areas, the only downside being that it was an hour and a half transfer from the airport. The beach was a fifteen/twenty minute stroll away, but it was well worth it, as the hotel pools did get very crowded, so the atmosphere was a little more relaxed at the beach. There are a few bars and restaurants directly oppostite the hotel and more situated a litte further out. We also visited the water park next door and it was great fun.
The hotel staff worked hard and were always pleasant.
The entertainment was varied and particularly good for children. During the day, there were plenty of activites and competitions to compete in for adults and children alike. In the eventing, there was some variation again, with a mixture of films, live entertainment and shows.
This hotel is definately more family orientated than adult only, so most nights, my friend and I would watch the entertainment and then venture elsewhere. The noise of families enjoying themselves was never far away, so don't expect a quiet holiday. But for families with children of all ages, it would be great.
The lifts were really not that bad; they were worse at peak times such as breakfast and dinner time. As we were on the ninth floor, and trying to walk the stairs once was enough, we used the lifts for the entire stay and only had to wait for about five minutes about once or twice.
I would recommend that you claim your sunloungers early, unethical I know, but they did fill up soon. The pools did get busy during the peak times too. If you want to go somewhere a bit more peaceful, try the 'relax' zone, situated by the lake. It is much more quiet there, with not many people, and a range of 'wellbeing' activites available, such as keep fit and beauty therapy. It really is worth visiting the beach and there is a bus service available to take you there, although the short walk helped to work off some of the food and drink we'd been consuming!
One thing I would recommend would be the 'pirates' show, it's quite costly and takes an hour to get there, but it is a brilliant night out for any age of person.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel for famillies, but not really for couples or friends. However, I still enjoyed my stay there and I would definately return to Alcudia.
