We have grown up children so were on holiday alone. Our first impression of the hotel in general was the noise!!!!!
Boy it hit us between the ears, particularly at meal times. We had forgotten how noisy and manic children be, especially in vast numbers. Unfortunately not all parents seem to be as fussed about having control over their darlings as we would be!
It took us probably two days before we got used to it and were able to concentrate enough to have a conversation over the din!
The food, however, is superb. Really something for everyone, special childrens counter, vegetarian options and plenty for the meat eaters etc. The complex is enormous and, when full, finding a seat can be difficult.
We recommend taking towels down to poolside before breakfast, especially if you want to grab some shade for later! Family entertainment is very good, in fact, can only describe it as 'Butlins abroad'. We got more from the holiday by joining in as everyone is there to have fun and all seem to be friendly.
There is genuinely no restrictions on drinks from the bar, anything from beer to cocktails. Would say great place for families and for couples who are prepared to 'go with the flow!'

The bedrooms are only small but you only sleep in them!
The food was fabulous, definitely spoilt for choice even my fussy kids had plenty to choose from.
We didn't have a problem getting sunloungers but we definitely noticed a difference in our second week which co incided with school holidays as to how busy the hotel could be.
Yes you may have to queue for drinks and a table at meal times but you don't have to wait for that long.
We didn't have a problem with drinks being served in plastic glasses in fact I would prefer that especially for the safety of children.
Staff were very friendly.
The only thing I could really moan about and this isn't the fault of the hotel is the ignorant people who retuen to their rooms in the early hours of the morning and have no respect for their fellow holidaymakers by slamming doors and having full scale arguments. ( we had a lovely family next door to us who had a massive row that went on until 6 o'clock in the morning!!!!)

Because the size off the complex was on a massive scale, there was just too many britts about!!! I thought 'we' didn't no how to behave!!
The hotel was noisey all the time, people were fighting, My husband had to interupt a father and son tearing lumps out off each other while my children were asleep next door!
Don't go here for a relaxing holiday!! We would'nt go back if we won a free holiday!!
Alcudia although is a lovley place.

We hated this place and couldn't wait to go home. We originally had a room that overlooked the entertainment, but it took us 3 days and 50 euros to change - but it was worth every penny. The noise around the hotel in general was unbelievable and the calibre of people who stopped there left something to desire. We often heard children being sworn at and people who felt it was holiday etiquette to speak to the staff like they were something on the bottom of their shoe.

staff put you as the main priority, they never let me down or put a frown on my face
4 stunning pools to choose from meant great independence and the poolside snack huts are unbelievably clean and have some great and tasty snacks on offer
it went exceedingly well with surrounding markets, cafes and bars that were welcoming and friendly.

The bedroom was large, containing two double beds, a bathroom and a balcony. The room was clean and tidy, with a daily maid service.
The food was excellent with plenty of choice. The food was topped up regularly. We didn't have to queue for food and the tables were cleared quickly.
The Hotel pools were large and there was plenty of room for sunbathing.
All the staff we met were polite and helpful.
The only disappointment was the entertainment, but this was probably because it was the start of the season.
I would be happy to go there agian.

Excellent choice of food and free booze.
Rooms were large with two double beds.
Plenty of activities throughout the day to keep you occupied.
Entertainment was ok but more children than adult orientated.

I was pleasantly suprised with the hotel and its location. I must say that the whole hotel is dedicated to families and children and if you cannot stand thousands of children running around all day then this isn't the hotel for you. I went with a friend and we found that as we were just out of season there wasn't as many children as there could be but wouldn't go back in high season.
The pools were very clean but very cold and we had no trouble finding a suned, there was hundreds stacked up being cleaned but still plenty to go around. We were told that our room would be cleaning every forth day but the aid came every day, made the beds, swept the floor and cleaned the bathroom I was suprised at this as I have never stayed anywhere where this has happened before.
The staff were very friendly, they did seem to work long hours though. Every person I talked to who worked there greated me with a smile and seemed happy to help.
The food was okay. Breakfast was lovely and this is where we filled up everyday. I cannot comment on lunch as we never had any as we were always too full from breakfast. Dinner was nice but sometimes a little cold. All three restaurants served the same food so we stuck to the queiter of the three. However on our last evening we did go to the Jupiter hotel and I was a lot quicker services and more staff on hand.
A couple of days we walked to the beach, which was only a 20 minute walk away. We chose to walk as the bus alway seemed a little busy. There are a few shops located around the hotel complex and inside the complex but these did seem to charge more than the shops nearer to the beach. So a walk could save you a few euros.
The entertainment was very children based but it was still fun to watch or even take part as we did a couple of times. We stayed near the Jupiter stage on an evening as the main stage area was far too busy and noisy to be able to relax. The entertainment staff worked hard trying to get people involved throughout the day and in the evening but they would never pressurize you to join in.
I must say that one of the highlights of our holiday was the free scuba diving trial in the main pool. We then put our names down and went out to sea with the instructors. We obliviously had to pay to do this but it was worth every peny and if it wasn't for the hotel giving the free trials we would never have done it! Something to save your euros for!
I would go back to this hotel but not in high season with or without children, but for October we had a great time and were very pleased with the whole hotel!

The cleaning of the rooms was very poor, the food was o.k.
The location was a bit in the middle of nowhere, the hotel staff were very moody, and the entertainment was very poor.
We had a lot of trouble with a family across the corridor from us who felt that because they were on holiday they could make as much noise as they wanted in the early hours of the morning. Sadly it was the adults that were the worst.
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We had booked this hotel for next year but luckily we have been able to change it.
This is supposed to be an all inclusive hotel but you have to pay for a lot of things on site.
