On arriving I noticed how many people there were, it seemed quite busy.
The rooms are very small, but are really clean and tidy and also the showers are great, powerful and lovely and hot.
The lifts are slow and if you call one it sometimes goes straight past your floor. The stairs are just as quick.
The hotel itself is very clean as well as the Saturno and Marte.
The pools are also clean, apart from night time when people throw in pool cues and bags, but these are cleaned by the morning.
I think it is a good idea how you can go in all three hotels and eat and drink in all of them. The Marte does the best slushes!
With all inclusive you get lots of drinks included: cocktails, vodka, rum and lots of others. There is pepsi, 7up slush, orange, lemon, chocholate milkshake and also milk for the kids.
The food is very nice and there is lots of choice but it doesn't really change much over the holiday and it can become a bit boring.
The hotel is situated quite far from the beach but is only a 10 minute walk if you cut across the canals and there is also a free bus to the beach every half hour. The hotel is near a few British pubs and the Hollywood pub is excellent. They have all the football matches on and I watched Newcastle twice.
All the staff at the hotel are very happy and always smiling. The maids change the towels every day change and make the bed every day and also clean the room.
The Barmen and Barmaids are excellent. The entertainment is very good but you have to get a seat early because it gets busy. Bingo is good, every night at nine o'clock. The First choice reps will tell you that to get to the shops at the Bellevue go to the roundabout and turn right but it far quicker to go past the lake, it only takes 5 minutes.
Even though this is a great hotel I would say the Bellevue is better. I would advise anyone to go here, it is really excellent and if you read bad reports don

On arrival we had to fill out some information cards (as with all hotels) but at reception the cards we had been given had been filled out incorrectly. The staff were rude in pointing out that these were filled out wrong. As there were two infants who just wanted to go to sleep this did not help we were hot and tired(not a good combination) The staff could see this but offered no help or refreshment.
Once we had all the information filled out correctly the joy of using the lifts unfolded before our very eyes. Not only are they to small, they are slow, smelly and have a complete mind of there own.
Anyone would think that we were not having a good time!
We got all or luggage sorted and went down to the pool. Big mistake. The rubbish that lay around was repulsive and the language that was coming from some of the childrens mouths made even me wince.
I won't go on any further, There was a fare range of good food and the resturant staff were very good, the drink was cheap but served in plastic beakers, due to a very scary tannoy saying "could people please not throw glasses into the swimming pools as it might cause injury". I'm no snob but you might be able to see the sort of client that these hotels seem to attract. Alcudia as a place is very good and the beach is fantastic for children. To say we spent as little time at the hotel as possible is an understatement. And if i hear the "casper slide" song or "Rolf Harris" signing something about some lady passing by it will be far to soon. Fancy sticking 2 families with young children not 20 yards away from the main stage which did not finish until midnight.
Would i go back to alcudia? Yes.
Would i go back to the hotel jupiter or sister hotels? mot on your nelly my good friends.
If you like Butlins as someone else has mentioned and love a bit of cheap cabaret. This is for you. Not for me. As for the first choice holiday reps. They looked like they couldn't give a monkeys My hard earned will not be fleecing there pockets this year..
Thankfully the company we were with felt the same and made for better entertainment than what was on offer

The maids came to clean the room almost every day which was good as we were told that it would be every four, and were very polite and courteous when we saw them on the rare occasion that we were actually in our room!
The food was ok for the first but after that it seemed to get a bit tedious as it seemed to be almost the same thing each day and the phrase chips with everything comes to mind! The snack bars scattered around the hotels came in handy as the children we travelled with were young and often missed mealtimes due to sleeping/kids clubs etc. The ice cream and fruit bars also proved a hit with the adults as well as the kids!
The location was excellent as it is walkable to nearlly all the main places, the beach, the main bit of town, the shops etc although a free bus was provided to the beach every half an hour and we never had a problem getting on it.
Most of the staff were v. friendly apart from a couple of bar staff who came across rather rude sometimes but whether this was the language barrier or not I'm not too sure.
The entertainment is very varied and I would definately recommend the karaoke round at the Saturno bar, I haven't laughed so much in ages! In the early evening most of the entertainment is aimed at kids and later on its more adult themed. Most of the bigger shows were round at the Jupiter stage but I must say go early to get a seat preferrably before about 8.00.
I would definately visit this hotel again but be warned it is very family based and the resort is solely aimed at people with children so if you're not into that sort of thing then stay away!

The reception area was packed with pushchairs at all times, the lifts were terrible and the food was awful (pasta, pasta and more pasta). We stayed 2 days and then paid extra to be moved to another hotel which was so much nicer. It was full of lager louts and people filling their suitcases with cigarettes to bring them back to the UK.
The pool was the filthiest I had ever seen. Terrible terrible terrible......

The room was large and clean
Food was yummy
Entertainment was .. Spanish Grease, very funny
The only part of the holiday that disappointed was the childrens club, we have a disabled daughter so a couple of hours to ourselves is a must. We travelled with Cosmos and it is fair to say that we will not be doing so again as their childrens clubs are rubbish. The club staff we about 19 always on their mobile phones and not interested in the children. We had our daughter booked in for a few sessions and paid for them at the begining of the holiday, but she only went once and not only did she not want to go back I did not want to leave her again. The Cosmos kids club is a stingy room on about the 5th floor of the hotel.
We have booked to go back this year as our now seven year old daughter loved the holiday so much - this year we are travelling with First Choice. We have travelled with First Choice before and they are brilliant.
The First Choice kids club at this hotel looked amazing they have a huge outdoor shack, they were always around the site marching and singing (the younger children) the staff were older and interacting with the children.
We cannot wait to go back - this year we are going mid Aug so hopefully it will be even hotter.

We have a wonderful time and disagree with many of the postings on this page.
The complex is large. There are 3 Hotels in a group with a number of large pools with sun-beds around and a lake surrounded by grassed areas. There were a lot of people staying as you would expect in early August. This is a family hotel and as you would expect there were lots of Children it was not quiet but never too noisy to cause a problem just people having a good holiday.
The room we had was very clean bit a little bit small for 4 of us. I would not like to spend a fortnight in this room. The bathroom decoration was a little dated but the shower was good with plenty of hot water. The air conditioning was very effective.
The Food was excellent with a large choice of quality food. There were obviously the standard chicken nuggets and chips type menus for the kid but during our stay there were tuna and salmon steak, loads of different meats, salads, fruits large cheese boards and ice cream to die for. We loved it. We never saw anyone piling their plates to overflow as you were able to go back as many times as you wished.
There was entertainment provided including the Kids Club (our kids are both too old for this) and evening entertainment including Bingo and live artists. This is not our type of thing but for those who do they seemed to enjoy it. We tended to get a drink and took it somewhere quite and had a chat and people watched.
We chose to hire a car from the Hotel at about

We were told by Direct Holidays that this hotel was a 4* and the price reflected this. It was only a 3* and did not warrant a 4* rating.
We had a night flight and the porter spoke excellent english. My first impression of the hotel was that the corridor carpets were filthy. Out room was very small but immaculate and well furnished. The bathroom was a little disappointing, and needed regrouting, but was very clean. (i should point out that the general loo downstairs smelt foul of urine and never had any toilet roll)
It is correct to say that the hotel is very busy, and there are lots of children, but the complex is so big it is easy to get away from the crowds. The hotel and gardens were spotless at all times.
The food at mealtimes is excellent, I am vegetarian and there was still plenty of choice for me. The dining room was nicely set out, with food sculptures.
There are stalls outside serving fruit, icecream, chips etc - many of the people working on these are friendly, but others were always grumpy and spoke little English!
We really enjoyed our holiday, and we are picky! But is is certainly not worth 4*s. It is a typical 3* hotel.
The pool was constantly packed with children and there were lots of men with tattoos drinking lager all day, sat next to their partners who were drenched in jewellery. Dont let this put you off, it was only an obsevation and no-one upset us!
waterpark across the road - a good day oyt, and you can go back to the hotel for lunchto save money! A good day out.
There was only one thing that spoilt our holiday, and this is something everyone should bear in mind - a courtesy room does not exist, but they will not tell you this until your final day. i was told that one was available, and that we could book, then the day before departure I was told it was first come first served. on the day of departure I was told there may not be one available, then in the evening when we needed to change we were told to go to the Jupiter hotel to use the shower room! This was really bad and did not fit in with the standard of the rest of the hotel - it was filthy and consisted of 2 showers in one room which was so hot and misty. There were no plugs or mirrors or towels (towels are provided at reception, but you need to pay a deposit to borrow them!) I was absolutely fuming that i was forced to cart our belongings to the next hotel, queue like cattle outside a room, which, once we got in, was too hot and steamy to get ready in, and as dirty as a school PE changing room. The reception staff, who had otherwise been polite all holiday, did not take my concerns seriously at all.

The hotel was continually cleaned. However , due to the room size we were forced to keep our 2 cases under the bed, this area was very dusty when I pulled a case out 2 days after arrival. The room provides little draw space for the "smalls" - take light weight hangers to ensure your clothes dont crease, for 3 of us 15 hagers supplied as a little tight.
The rooms have air con which shuts off when you open the balcony door(cost and energy saving) If you suffer from night heat sleep at the far ends of the rooms oppersite the vents, this is where the cooler air stays. Balconies have a small drying frame fixed to the wall very useful.
Pool side cleanliness is at question! I saw vomit moped up and the same mop used to clean the areas around it after not good. BUT the hotel does at least to these problems quckly and bio clean was put down in large quantities. Pool beds and chairs really could do with a good clean. Oily hand marks wind swept dirt were all taking their tool.
Pools are VERY busy the 2 largest in the Jupitor and Saturno were "towelled" by 7:30-8:00 daily. Sad to see that the guest, in the greater majority Brits, were the offenders and I noted many beds towelled until late morning when the user(s)finally emerged.
Drinks - Water is welcomingly cold and on tap 24/7.
Soft drinks are in small plasic plastic cups whilst the San Migel is served in 1/2 ltr plastic cups in the day and a mix of glass and plastic at night. If you are a pint person this requires "Dos san migel" on each visit. Queues for drinks at night can be long and frustrating with bars seemingly undermanned (this causes bankers being called to save time)
Food was ok - we didnt have a night where we couldnt eat anything. There is a childres section between 6 and 8 pm which serve those little bittly things kids love i.e. fish fingers chips - Alpha bites.
Brekfasts were in my opinion were good. Eggs weree fried as you stood collecting what you wanted - indeed alot of food was cooked where you could see it and the cleaning of tables, utencils and hot plates was a pleasure to see. Some meals could get repetitive if you went back for "seconds" of other meals so eating 2 or 3 different menus in one night. As most people have agreed deserts were very, very good.
Hotel location is outside the town which keeps it quieter at night from road noise - a taxi to the Port of Alcudia was 6 to 7 euros for 6 of us and could be walked in 1/2hour.
The position of the Aquapark as stated is GREAT, 100 mtrs and you are there - its small but loads to do.
A free bus takes you to the beach - this was very busy at 10, 10:30 and 11:00 - NOTE you can take inflatables on here they must ne in the luggae area of the bus, you must wear shorts, to and shoes when on the bus. The beach is 30 mins on foot so not a problem.
Hotel staff speak resonable english, I found no problem here at all even though I speak broken spanish.
Staff are VERY busy - noticable by the hours worked many on duty at my breakfast of 8/9 am and still there midnight and later - Some found staff miserable I have no complaint here. Some of the younger bar staff (temps i guess) did talk more than serve at bars when it was at its peak which can be annoying.
Entertainment....... I was there 10 days and couldnt get to see a show. Seats were being grouped and reserved at 6/7 pm bingo at about 9 a shows 9:30 for a complex with some 4000 people in 5-600 chairs are NOT enough - this was a pity as there were some good shows to be seen that matched most workingmens clubs !!!
I would return. However I'd me more aware of the restictions of time at the bars and lack of facilities to see the shows

The food was excellent, lots of choice and tasted lovely. Ice cream was plenty by the childrens village from 10-5 and from 5 - 12 served in the hotel marte bar. You could have fruit, lots of choice from a bar near by the childrens village.
The location was good only 1/2 hour from the beach. We took the bus and found that as long as you were by the stop (outside the saturno entrance)15 mins before the bus left you would get a seat. The waterpark hidropark was only 5 mins a way. The market was 30 mins away and is well worth a visit. The shops are only 30 mins away and are down by the belle vue hotel.
The staff were very helpful and do speak good english and are worked extremely hard but remain happy.
The entertainment was excellent. There is a professional act on every night. I especially liked there version of the Rocky Horror picutre show and grease. You do need to get a seat by 7.30 but if you have kids you will need to get there before 8 for the kids to do the mini disco. They enjoy this but the songs are repetative for adults. They have got trampolining, bouncy castles and other things there but there is a charge of about 4-6 euros a go.
We went to the Western Water Park which was excellent and rivals the ones in florida for good rides. We also went on a glass bottomed boat to formenter which was good and also to marineland which is very very small. You have seen everything in an 1 1/2. It is worth going to see the dolphin and parrot show. The beach is fantastic, it costs 6 euros for 2 sun beds all day. The water is warm and the sand is white.
All in all i would give the hotel 4/5 and would visit again. It is very very busy but my daughter who is nine made loads of friends and we enjoyed ourself as well. I would advise anyone going who didnt have kids though.
