This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

The resort is not far from the airport - probably only 5 miles and a taxi cost us just 12 Euors to the resort. It is a quiet resort with a wonderful sandy beach and a clear water harbour (plenty of watersports). The resort is split into 2 by the main road but this hotel is in the centre and near all the shops, bars and restaraunts. There are plenty of car-hire companies but if you want to travel cheap then just jump on a bus - it cost us 10Euros return to Coralejjo.

we liked resort no hussle or bussle safe for kids as no cars in precinct or by prom. beach was fine with fish in shallow end keeps kids occupied.good places to eat are Tony Romas, for ribs delicious. Fado rock excellent, china the chinese excellent,el patio good first time disappointing second.a nice walk along the prom round the harbour feed the fish have a coffee walk some more feed the chipmonks, take in the sea air we loved it but might not be every ones cuppa of tea.entertainment in precinct was limited to restaurants, with not much going on.Pieros was good with entertainment on every night most people went there so go early for a seat .Avoid the italian by the kiddies park, its always busy but our worst meal of the holiday and didnt like the staff, from what we gatherd you only eat there once.Atlantico shopping mall worth a walk to go down to beach turn right over some waste land back on the prom past a lovely cove beach and it there got shops restaurant things for kids bowling etc good for when weather not so good cheap public phones to.if you want relaxing holiday you will find it here.ps oconners irish bar is not irish, food was cold and music puts you in a coma but experience it for yourself.

Found the resort to be very clean.
Saw a few bars advertising their entertainment, but we never actually went inside to see.
A great number of bars, restaurants and shops in the resort. Can recommend Paprika, which serves snacks, Caffe Nero makes the best pizza and pancakes and Lins Cafe which serves lovely, hot, fresh food.
Man-made beach was lovely and clean.
2 mini-golf courses along the promenade which the kids enjoyed.
Will definitely visit this resort again.

We had excellent weather whilst in the resort which added to our enjoyment. We have been to Caleta de Fuste previously and it is ideal for couples and families with young children.
The harbour area is nice to sit and eat around and the beach very pleasant. The horseshoe shaped bay is ideal for young children and the sea safe as you have to walk out for metres before it gets deep. There are rocky spots to overcome as you enter the water but nothing to difficult.
Lots of nice eateries to enjoy but all close fairly early so no late night noise. Good market once a week for those who like to barter with the lucky lucky men and some nice soverneirs shops.
A nice, family orientated resort within 10 minutes of the airport and if you get the opportunity to pick a coach transfer or not, recommend you don't.
It is cheaper to get a taxi (10E)than pay for the coach transfer, plus you have no sitting around waiting for or on coaches. We were in our room and unpacking well before the tour operator coach arrived.

This was our first stay in Costa Caleta although we have visited the island twice before staying at Correleco and Jandia.
The resort is nice and clean with a few shops and quiete a few restruants to choose from. May not be suitable for younger people looking for clubs etc...
The harbour and beach is very nice with plenty of cafes to eat and drink.
There are several diffent activities going on including boat trips, Diving, Jet Ski hire, Fishing etc....
I would recommend the resort to couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday with enough going on to entertain most people.
The resort is centrally located and a good base to explore the island in paticular Correleco, Lobos & Jandia which are all lovely places to visit. You can take a day trip to Lanzarote from Correleco by ferry which only takes approx 40 minutes and Lobos Island is an absolute must.

The resort of Caleta de Fuste was very small and when we went (Winter) there was not much entertainment at all during the evening, so we only had the option of the hotel.
The cleanliness was okay however there is a big area of waste ground outside the complex covered with dog poo. Gross!! The beach was okay with shallow water. However the best beaches were at Jandia and El Costillo reachable by a a car. PS car hire is easy, cheap and the roads are really quiet.
We would not go back to Caleta de Fuste as we found Jandia the best area.

The resort was spotless, beach was beautiful although arond the resort they have volcanic rocks pressume to stop weeds growing but seems to double as a huge litter tray which is awful cause kids walked in it!
The resort has many restaurants must try Tony Romanes Ribs they were georgeous! Shop round for prices there is quite a difference with foo, beer & cigarettes!
The beach is man made so was shallow for the kids and the chipmonks are a must to see on the volcanic rocks they eat from your hands don't forget your apples it fab.
Opposite Pieros(which has a great entertainment programme) is a small cafe/bar the breakfasts & food is lovely one of the cheapest and best a young couple run it and they even give you a mug of coffee!
I would stay again Oasis zoo is expensive but well worth it the meal was good and the camel ride to the top of the mountain was scary but 100% safe they are building the place up and getting more animals so well worth a visit.

Stayed in Caleta de Fuste. Only 10 mins from airport, so get a taxi, save time on transfer bus, cost about 10 euros. Beach excellent for all. Park in resort for kids, plenty of bars to chill in.

The resort was very british. Lots of british pubs, cafes and restaurants. OK if you like that sort of thing. Little to offer when the weather was bad (as it was when we visited). Beach close to the Atlantico shopping centre was very nice. Nice bar out on boardwalk. Shopping centre was poor. Nice walk along cliff tops. Some development going on as a new hotel being built. Alot of development at the end of cliff walk

cant really coment to much on the resort itself as we only visited a couple of times, if you shop around you can get a bargain, markets ok if your into leather ie handbags/belts but make sure you barter with them you can get it for half the price, never went down in the evenings due to age of son, ate sunday dinner down there due to no potatoes on site and that was brill, the beach is clean and ok when the tides in as when low water rocks are exposed we found the best beaches to be near corralejo which we visited by hire car and also visited jandia in the south also very nice beaches but full of germans, dont be fobbed off by being told every thing is cheaper as we didnt find that out in fact the camera we bought was cheaper at our own resort and also duty frees it can also be a very expensive trip if there is a few of you,its better to hire a car and see a bit of the island, if nothing else it keeps you off the beer for a while. all in all we probably wont return to this island as we saw it all but we did enjoy the time we spent there and is worth the money, hope these comments are helpfull.
