This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Clean, enjoyable place to visit. try hiring a car to site see around the island
Rooms round pool opposite restaurants are good, lower level

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Do not except a bungalow near the road that surrounds this complex i as was told by other holidaymakers who stayed here they were the ones that got robbed on a regular basis . the words quick getaway come to mind

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

Beaches

The main beach is ok but it is hard to walk in the water as there as so many sharpe rocks, plastic shoes are a must.
Beach bar was good but a bit pricey compared to other bars.

This is an up and coming resort with plenty of construction work happening but most of it low key,I have never seen so many people cleaning the streets and picking up litter.
The resort has plenty of restaurants and bars including the obligatory Irish bars.
The beach is man made but a stunning horseshoe harbour shelters from the large waves that can batter the coast further north the beach benefits from a shelf that makes it accessable for young children.
I will definately visit this resort within the next 12 months.

Resort was very clean
Excellent for families and couples nightlife mainly in hotels and bars. Not a place for clubbers
Nice and clean easily accessable however was man made and stony in parts.
We would definately visit again we loved Fuerteventura and Caleta de Fuste was lovely with plenty of shops restaraunts and bars.
Jandia in the south also looks lovely with beautiful beaches. We went down for the day and it was 42 degrees in October. We will try Jandia next time.

The resort we thought did not have an awful lot of things to do, only a handful of gift shops in the small town easily walked around in half an hour but the people were friendly and you felt quite safe to walk around even at night.
The saturday market is also quite good, but be prepared to be firm , once you show interest in something you will be practically pushed into buying it.
I will close now but I would have no hesitation in recommending Caleta de Fuste for a great relaxing holiday.

This was our first visit here as we normally go to Greece, so I was dissapointed at the lack of anything remotely Spanish here !
Nothing remarkable about the resort it seemed pretty souless and very Brits abroad ie English food chips with everything and eastenders ! fado rock steakhouse was a real gem excellent food and service.
Didnt use the beach here there are stunning beaches at Jandia and Corralejo why come all this way to sit on a manmade beach!
However the weather was excellent, but wouldnt return as I prefer a more authentic feel to a holiday.

We didn't spend much time around the Hotel/App apart from the last hour or so of the day
where we had a quick dip in the pool to wash out the sea salt from our hair before retreating to our App to get a shower then out for the night!!
We spend most of our time on the sandy beaches, Great place to spend the day plus you’ll find a small Beech Bar called "Pedro" where you can get plenty of food & a pint for a few euro,
You can find a Camel ride too for Ten Euro on the Beach this pleased the kids!!
You will find plenty of great places to eat around the area too, just take a little time to look around the whole area just follow the beach around to the left take one of the side streets you’ll come across hundreds of shops/restaurants,
We would recommend the “Chinese” Slow Boat, Great food for very little money, plus you get a free pint of Beer/Drink with your order Or if your like us and prefer a quiet family pub then try "Suzie’s" Its an American couple who run & own the little place, your made very welcome indeed, I’ll guarantee you will meet many a Brit who’s found a new life living out in the Sun,
Great holiday I’ve been all the Canaries and this has got to be one of the best hols I’ve had yet, hoping to go back very soon

The resort is good even though it is on the flight path. It is only a short ride from the airport and not in the hustle and bustle of a town.

We stayed in Caleta de Fuste. The resort is spotless ,streets are very clean with very little litter seen in my my week there. most bars have live music with the odd karoke here and there. the restaurants are fantastic(highly recommend tony romas rib house). the beach is very clean with a large number of sunbeds available. i look forward to visiting this resort again and recommend it highly.
