This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

The resort is very small and very little to do, the beach is ok near the harbour, theres a couple of men that build really good sand castles,
If your looking for somewhere really nice to Eat try the Steak house, need to get there early 6.30ish otherwise theres a very long queue. (if you walk up to the top Nettos, cross over the road and walk to your left, its got a miss piggy outside,
Also the Chisnese called china, we ate in there 3 times very cheap, and proberly better chinese than in england,
There is a crazy golf course to play down near the beach but you also need to get there early as they shut at 9.30pm
there is not really many bars to go to, there all mainly resturants, The keg bar round the corber from the hotel is good.
I would not come back to this resort, only because there is very little to do.

The resort was very clean, enough entertainment for a week but we were struggling a bit with 2 weeks to fill.
The main beach is nice until you go into the water, it is full of rock, but there are 3 other man made bays which are clean and safe and sunbeds are only 3 euros.
The best place to eat was definately Fado Rock, although sometimes you have to queue for a table. Entertainment was quite good at Piero's but very repetative if you are there for 2 weeks.
Best day of the holiday was definately a visit to the waterpark.

The resort itself was lovely. Very basic, without the tourist hussle and bussle of junk shops selling tat. Many bars, and resturants however the main menu's seemed to consist of burgers, chips, hot dogs etc. If you want traditional Spanish food forget it!
There is a chinese, Mexican and a fantastic Rib place.
A visit to the islands zoo is well worth it.

Costa Caleta is a lovely place to go.
It has a good beach and marina if you like water sports. the people are very friendly.
Wwe went to the Keg bar most nights because my daughter likes to sing. Mike is the dj and is very good, Israle and Chris were great too - they were behind the bar.
If you go to the other side of the marina in the rocks live some chipmonks they are great to watch and feed if you take some nuts or apple.
The resort itself is very clean but not very big. Corralejo is much bigger lots more to do, but I think Costa Caleta is better as not so busy.

We enjoyed out stay, but the resort has far too much building work underway, and to be honest...some bits are too tacky.
Shame really, because it could be so much nicer.
Jandia looks the nicest place on the island from what we saw.

Caleta De fuste is only 10 minutes from the airport, so you do not have to wait about for tour operators transport as a taxi was 9 euros each way. The resort has a harbour at one end which had a stage area for nightly entertainement, which seemed popular with the Brits. The beach itself was very clean and sandy, although got very pebbly near the waters edge.Jets skis and wind surfing took place in a zoned area. The quietest and best beach we found was opposite The Sheraton Hotel/ Atlantico Shopping mall which was can be seen from the from end of the bay at Caleta. Generally there were plenty of varied places to eat from the typical English&Irish bars to good quality/priced restaurants. Although only a small town there were enough designer shops to go around.

We only visited the beach once as we prefer the pool but it was very clean and only a 10 min walk from our hotel.
The resort centre was only small and wouldnt appeal to people who want alot of night life, there are a few restaurants, gift shops and supermarkets.
I think if I went to fuerteventura again I would visit a different resort.

The resort was a lovely place. Not too busy and overcrowded but enough there to keep you occupied. Cant comment on resort entertainment because we mostly stayed in the hotel.
The beaches were lovely. The one behind the shopping centre opposite Mcdonalds was slightly better as it was a bit sandier.
Resort only a 10 min walk from hotel although its uphill going back!!
