This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

The resort itself, was fairly clean, as you would expect back home, there were not many bins or recycable hubs around, so things were just laying about the road side.
We didnt venture much to any of the entertainments outside our hotel, although their are a few pubs near the hotel "Mollys" are really nice friendly people and it has a warm atmosphere, there are a few english bars selling english beers and food, sunday lunches for example.
The beach was always clean and tidy but very busy everytime we went there. It cost 9 euros for 2 sunloungers and a parasol all day, which in my book is pretty good. The sea was lovely and warm, the sand was hot to walk on, sometimes too hot, also take plenty of suncream as there was no wind/breeze.
I would certainly visit this reosrt again.

The resort is very nice and the beach is very large and sandy with fairly warm sea.
The shops are really good for very different clothes and shoes and their are loads of souveiner shops. The resteraunts are very nice and thers enough to eat somewhere different every night.
The people are very nice and it would 't hurt to learn a bit of Spanish because they are not all that good at English. Yes there are a few cockroaches about just try not stand on them or you will know about it.
The bus trips are not badly priced either. If you are wanting day trips out then I would recomend the water park which is fantastic, the zoo, the harbour where you can go scuba diving and swimming with seals, and the city centre which is full of even more shops.

We made a lot of friends when we went in September. The hotel was very clean and our towels and room were cleaned every day which we were impressed with.
We stayed on the A side and had a lot of fun since most children ahd returned to school we had a lot more use of everything. The pool was clean and the childrens pool we could not find no fault and we have stayed in four star accomodation before we were impressed with the staff being very helpful and friendly.
The kids club was brilliant, would recommned it to all families with children in the right age group.
The entertainment was great, hypnotist and parrot show was fun, but the entertainment team for the childrens disco and adult and family entertainment after the disco at 9.15pm was good.
I would recommend all inclusive the snack bar and drinks flowed, good cooked food especially tuna pizzas.
None of the other guests or ourselves suffered with any infections or illnesses that had been reported on web sites.
We were glad we went and would definitely go again and to all those who were there around 7th Sept onwards made the holiday a lot of fun for everyone.
As for comments on people who have tattoos and young children! a holiday is what you make it and there are more woman today who have tattoos than men.
It might only have been a two star/three star but you were treated far better than that.
Good weather, relaxing atmosphere, good entertainment for children and adults, what more could you want.

The resort was fantastic, set in a small harbour, with sunbeds windsurfing, snorkelling, fishing, and our favourite jet skies. The safety aspect was excellent with every section having its own place. The bars cafes and restaurants was brill,we could not fault them, went for a meal everynight checkout Tony Romas fomous american rib place, wicked!!The beaches where great, espically the beach down at the Atlantico they where quality! The Atlantico it self is a big shopping mall, with the cheapest supermaket spar place in dorada!2 euros by taxis to there which is nothing, save yourself ££££££`s.Also has burger king mcdonalds and many restaurants and a tenpin bowling complex.Could keep on writing but Mrs is nagging at me so by for now The Bunnies !

The weather was fantastic - I think it was the warmest, but with a lovely breeze, it had been all summer. The resort is very small, but we weren't looking for wild nights out, when we did go out in the evening we did see a few racous bars - but Ibiza its not. I wouldn't recommend it as a party town, but for families and couples its grand. The beach is not huge and certainly not as spectacular as the ones to the north and south of the island. But functional (it is man made as you can see at low tide - not incredibly pretty, but when the tide is in really good shelf for small children and non confident swimmers.
The market over the weekend (I think) is very commercialised - it calls itself an African Market, but is mostly toot. Few odd good stalls - I bought a gem bracelet from an English girl/woman and her husband - they made them themselves and were of a good quality and not extortionate-most of everything else was mass produced wood "artifacts".
As others I recommend the the walk down to the left out of the hotel back gate - keep going past the harbour (where if you are lucky you will see a sealion and her two cubs)and walk round the relatively modern promonade. You should see the chipmunks on the rocks. I would recommend putting on a pair of trainers and actually scrambling down the rocks to get closer to the sea..... I saw far too many couples where the guy was off exploring whilst the girl sitting on the bench waiting for him to come back - come on girls if I can do it so can you..... There's no life in the rock pools at all - but the sheer sight and smell of the sea crashing against the rocks is fantastic - don't get too close - I got rather wet!!
As far as tours goes - most went from Correlejo - a boat trip and an island tour, whilst these were OK - the fact the coach trip took such a long time - they said 1 hour and it was closer to 2 each way by the time we had stopped to pick everyone up at their hotels - with no air con it was almost unbearable.
One really good trip was going snorkeling -it was with a local firm just up the beach and was really reasonable and good fun.
Overall I would come back here definately - I think before not too long as I'm afraid modernisation is on the way.
Fantastic - go soon!!

The complex was quite nice, very clean. The staff were all really friendly and very helpful.
We ate out most of the time and also spent most of our days out at the beaches or travelling around the island.
But when we had a drink at the bar or went to the pool, we found the entertainment that was on hand very good.
He seemed to be a one-man-band but was very friendly, talented and the kids seemed to adore him as well as some of the mums!
