This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Rooms round pool opposite restaurants are good, lower level

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Don't go !!!
Dont go, There is not one guest I stayed with who enjoyed themself. My poor 3 year old was begging to go home

Do not except a bungalow near the road that surrounds this complex i as was told by other holidaymakers who stayed here they were the ones that got robbed on a regular basis . the words quick getaway come to mind

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

don't choose the bungalows - poor outlook an isolated.
Local bar the Crazy Goat good fun and excellent food at Mustang Sally.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

This would be good in height of summer when really hot then open roof woudnt matter and definitely need transport of your own

The beach areas are nice look out for the Sand castles.

Smelly due to rubbish left in streets/skips and did I mention the flies? There are lots of them especially when trying to eat.

The resort has a large range of bars an resteraunts and loads of the usual tourist shops
lots of watersports available including windsurfing, snorkelling,scuba diving and jet skiiing
Apart from that theres not really a lot to see or do in the resort so I would strongly reccomend hiring a car or going on some of the excursions available.
We went to lanzarote which was reasonably priced and also the Oasis park which has a zoo and camel safari and was really good fun.
If you do hire a car make sure you visit the beautiful sand dunes near correlejo and also Jandia where the beaches are breathtaking
I would go to fuerteventura again but I would probably stay in corralejo rather than Caleta De Fuste

Neuvo Horizonte. Cleanliness was hard to tell because of the building work going on.
Very few bars etc, but one very good English Restaurant.
Nearest night life was Caleta de Fusta some 25 mins walk away.

Resort was clean and tidy, didn't use much of the resort entertainment but it was there.
Beach was clean and tidy just make sure you wear flip flops in the sea as was very rocky and pebbly.

The resort was really clean how surprised how much it had built up since my last visit in 1998
The shopping centre was nice, beach ok but I'm not a beach person

Resort ok although a lot a restaurants have fast food - lots of chips burgers etc etc.
Frado Rock and Canario Typico are very good restaurants.
Not that much else really but we got by ok
Quite a bit of aircraft noise - albeit only from 7.30 am - 11.00 pm! We did enjoy the holiday!

Resort was boring, walked around at night doing nothing, the beach was man-made and was horrible, couldnt go in the sea as the stones on the sea bed was unbelievable.

Resort was always clean no litter was really seen at all...leaves cleaned up...good standard
Entertainment was ok there was enough to do...restaurants...shops etc
Beach was man made but lovely clear waters and soft sand...loungers provided and umbrella's.
It's a really beautiful resort with an excellent atmosphere
