All rooms face the pool or castle. Restaurants along the beach front are all very good and in the hotel if its just chips, burgers and pizza you want. Whole cooked chicken from the skate park cafe was very nice to.

Ask for high floor, the view is fabulous.
Try La Tasca Andaluza restaurant; intimate, typically Spanish. Excellent menu of the day 8.50 euros; lots of choice, generous portions + complementary olives, bread and liqueur. Ying Ping also very good and reasonable.

The Marina area is where it all happens, so if you want a quiet holiday avoid that are. The beaches are good and the centre provides some reasonable shops. Fuengirola is a busy working town behind the beach strip with some nice streets to wander around with some interesting little shops and houses. All the coastal towns are accessable via the N340 dual carriageway and the railway is great to get to Torremolinos and Malaga. (both worth a visit) The busy bus station gives you easy access to the other resorts like Marbella & Benalmadina. Plenty to do & see.

Fuengirola itself is a great resort with plenty to do and
lovely beaches.

Food is reasonable priced although I dont think I chose from the many restaurants very well and had some very average food.

The local bus service is very good and very cheap so you can get between coastal resorts quite easily.

I have given Beach standard a 4 for the Beach Club as it was a pleasure to visit there as an escape from crowded hotel pool .

Resort has plenty eating places, prices are just about the same as any barlunch price back home.

Beach stretchs from one end to another(which is quite a walk)full of shops and places to eat and drink.
Never got bothered with too many touts though they are out there(just say no!!).

You`ve got to see the zoo,it is amazing how much they have put into a small space with plenty of room for the animals(a must see).

We went to cable cars/dolphins and safari park with a 3pack deal for 28euros each.It is a good deal compared to going to each individually(see a tourist informationist).Though you are better to take a packlunch as quite pricey at safari.

Would go to resort again.

Resort was very clean.

Entertainment was also very good, with many bars and restaurants just a short 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Beach was cleaned all the time. sunbeds were also only 4 euro which included a bed, and umbrella and a table.

we would visit this resort again!

Benalmadena is now a haven for drink tourism and is a permanent building site. Not the place to go with your family.

Loves the Costa del Sol. Hired a car for 3 days & visited all the coast towns & mountain villages. Benalmadena Harbour absolutely stunning, better than Puerto Banus. Mijas & Benalmadena pueblo also beautiful villages with stunning views.

Plenty of restaurants and bars along the road. Also on a sunday there is a market down near Linekers bar in the car park. Plenty of street sellers too but not ones that hassle you which supprised me. In town there is also a good range of shops. Perfumes/aftershaves are not such a good deal but cigarettes and alcohol are.
Beach is clean and sun loungers are available for 3-4 Euros. There are water sports available if you want it and planes are always flying past advertising something on a banner.
At night it is very busy and lively with lots of the bars providing entertainment.
Found it to be mainly a family or couples resort.
