Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

The beach area and the whole resort was clean and tidy.
The only complaint I can find is the trees in the pavement in some streets took over half the path and I could not get my wheelchair through so I had to go on to the road.

Salou has something to offer everyone. Very clean. Entertainment for everyone, quite expensive though and didn’t think much of the food.pineda is a lovely place to visit. Only a 15 minute walk with a much nicer beach than salou and less busy. Recommend a visit to aquapolis Water Park there. Very reasonably priced and something for the whole family

Small resort but enough bars and a few supermarkets for our needs. Nice small cove with pedalos at reasonable price
Local buses were excellent only 1.35 to 2 euros to get to other resorts ie Salou, Cambrils, Pineda
excellent local bus service from airport to hotel, which runs in conjunction to Ryanair flights, return cost 9.25 euros per person, good saving on taxis

Salou is the best resort I have ever been to we all loved it, the beach is amazingly clean and it was boiling.
The shops are great full with unusual things. Costa Caribea water park and Port Aventura is a must they are brill. Don’t visit Tarragona not one person speaks English it was a nightmare. Barcelona is gorgeous a great day out.
For the clubs I went to Kiss and Snoopy's a lot they were ace, Snoopy's is open till 6 so don’t go out too early.
Salou is a great destination I would recommend to all age grops, families, singles or couples.

I stayed in Salou and thought it was lovely there are loads of shops and bars so you can have it as quiet or lively as you wish.
The beach was spotless and it was the first time my daughter would go in the sea which was great, we both loved our holiday and didn't want to come home.

From here you can go to a range of different places something to suit every one there's Port Adventua theme park, Aquapolis water park, Cambrills little fishing village, La Pinada nice little holiday town plenty of daft little present shops, Tarragona a large town with Roman ruins and stuff like that.
Then there's Salou itself every thing you could want on your door step

Plenty to do, some of the street sellers can be annoying, but ignoring them seems to work.
Beaches could be a bit cleaner but would go again based on the entertainment

The resort i thought was very clean.
The beach was very nice and clean.It had play areas too right along the beach which was great for the kids.
The entertainment was good i thought they had something for everyone from bingo to kids disco (although, they played games during this that i thought were aimed more for the older ones my daughter is 3 and she didnt know what they were doing and just wanted to dance.)
They had quizes and other games that you could win prizes.During the day they had a kids club and had things on for the adults like darts archery and cocktail drinking.
I would definitly go back to Salou the theme park is brilliant and so is the water park although most of it was closed when we were there in October.
