Location
We had 2 attic rooms which were fine, although there is no lift which my father who travelled with us found rather difficult as he is elderly and walks with the aid of a stick. We found these rooms to be large enough for 4 people, and yeah they were basic but fine.
We didn't do any cooking as the cooking facilities were not up to much but its cheap enough to eat out and the food everywhere seems lovely. Didn't have one complaint about any meal. We went to the YES SIR restaurant which is right opposite the Kocer, (over the busy main road) where the service was faultless, and the guys in there are very friendly and helpful and were brilliant with my 4 children. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
The bathrooms were not wonderful and shower seemed to go all over the floor. Like other reviews, after you use the first toilet roll, you don't get another. We were told to go downstairs to the toilets there to nick some but everybody was told the same so when we went to get one, there were none left.
Around the pool was great as there were plenty of sun loungers and parasols to go round so there was none of this reserving spaces nonsence. The maid service we had was fine...no complaints had a lovely girl, don't know her name but she was very nice and helpful. My daughter was ill sick in bed one day and the maid was most concerned and offered to get a doctor.
We were in C block. I would certainly go to Kocer again as we thought it was fine and its location great!!

It is the scruffiest place I have ever been to.
Food portions on the complex was small and not very appetising.
Located next to a bar which was very noisy till 3am and babies couldn't sleep.
Staff pretended not to understand you when complaining about noise and problems with rooms - like bare wires - which 2 of us got electric shocks from and maid would only clean rooms if we paid her.
Entertainment was only Bingo in the afternoon.
A VERY disappointing holiday - so BAD that we came home a week early because most of us developed health problems - ie. ear infections, tummy bugs and chest infections.

Two of the blocks back onto the very busy main road, one is sat over the Karaoke bar that the hotel owns and the other block backs onto a side road with a 24 hour shop. Even our 7 year old who sleeps through anything complained about the noise during the early hours of the morning.
The food at the poolside bar is expensive junk and beware there are no prices on the menus on the tables. The pool was fine and the sunbeds were plentiful.
The maids did clean everyday but the toilets and bathroom were not too good. You sometimes did not get the room cleaned until 7pm at night just as you were trying to get ready to go out. The campbed for the child was very poor and was not very comfortable.
Marmaris itself was a major let down due to the constant hassle. You could not walk down the street without people trying to drag you into the shops, bars and restaurants. We got a telephone call from reception at 8.30 on the morning of our departure to confirm that we would be checking out on that day. As if that was not enough they then knocked on the door 5 minutes later.
I would not recommend the Kocer Club to anyone and if this is Turkey then they can keep it.

It is situated perfectly as the beach is 5mins away and local shops are 2 mins away. The rooms are clean and good sized and the pool is very big and clean.
The Aussie bar is a must its just across the road from reception and its good fun the kids loved it.
All the other staff are so helpful as well so thanks to Erol, Spike, Jay, Airtan and Tony.
We loved it that much we are going back this October.

The hotel is in a great location, 5 mins from the beach, 2 mins from all the shops and bars and restaurants. Everything you could want is on your doorstep.
We had a room facing the pool on the top floor which was quite quiet. We were worried about the noise at night, but it was fine.
The pool itself is great, absolutely massive, but freezing and its got no shallow end and no steps, so if you can't swim, you're buggered!
The cleaner came in every day and changed the towels, made the beds etc. Bathroom was a bit iffy - bits of mould here and there. Take note if you get any mysterious rashes appearing on your face and chest. My boyfriends skin on his face broke into a rash, we thought at first it was the sun, but he never gets anything like that and neither do I, but we think it was the pillows. The bedding looked quite old and we think we developed a skin allergy. The mattress sinks to the floor and I am only 8 stone!!
Staff are friendly enough, although girls, need I say, watch the Turkish fellas. Even the ones who reckon they have girlfriends from Britain and are engaged and all this rubbish, they'll still try it on and I was with my boyfriend!!!
Also if you like all the fake goods as I do, you can shop till you drop. My poor boyfriend has never been in as many shops looking at Dolce and Gabbanna and Louis Vuitton - its was great!!! Here

Aussie bar which belongs to Kocer is great fun, the staff are so friendly Erol, Orhan, Ertan, Marco and Yilmaz (Alex) my fiancee who won't be there next year as he is going in the army. Aussie bar is a must!
The staff will do anything for you in both Kocer and Aussie bar.

All of the staff at the Kocer club are amazing and extremely friendly. The rooms are basic but you don't go on holiday to stay in your room!!!
The Aussie bar is amazing and all the staff there know how to have a good time and always joke with you.
