We arrived at the Kocer club with an infant in a buggy to be told we were in two attic rooms. The reception staff refused to help saying we were to take it up with the operators. We were unable to change our rooms and so had to hike a buggy up 3 flights of stairs twice, sometimes 3 times a day ~ no fun! There are no lifts.

This was to set the attitude of the reception staff for the whole of our 2 week holiday. They were, to say the least, most unpleasant.

The pool and bar staff were lovely and most helpful.

Be warned, the air conditioning will cost you

We just returned from Marmaris last week, we stayed at the Kocer club, never again.

The attic rooms are a shambles Thomas Cook should re-train their staff - our rep was ignorant. We tried to ask him nicely to change rooms and we got a right mouthful I said I was going to complain to Thomas Cook and he told me he was Thomas Cook. The staff at the reception were rude they dont want to help the guests [who pay their wages].

You were put off eating in your room as the cleaners came anytime between 9am and 7pm. There was no where to sit on the balcony. The bathroom was disgusting with clean towels few and far between never again.

What a brilliant location couldn't have gotten better.

Brilliant pool, loads of loungers.

Staff friendly and helpful.

Entertainment consisted of bingo. They own a bar over road.

We had a brilliant time here and on arriving home booked to go again this year in August.

This hotel is well worth the visit and we hope to return for a lot more years for our summer holiday in August.

The reps were there every day and were easy to find. Pikey was always cheerful.

Food was reasonable and nice and the service was good.

Counting the months now till we return, Marmaris is definitely our kind of holiday.

Was our second visit to Kocer club.

We weren't disappointed,our room was first class,cleaned every day,towels/bedding no problem.

Hotel 2mins from beach. Staff plesant& helpful,Aussie bar ok but not our cup of tea.

Look rorward to going back next year.

I have been going to turkey for 8 years and love it until I stayed at club kocer the sheets and towels were never changed all the 2 weeks we were there.

The food and drinks at the bar were twice as much money than anywere else in the whole of Turkey the staff were rude when we complained they just ignored us and demanded tips before they would help us.

When we first arrived at kocer I asked if we could hire a buggy as ours was dammaged on arrival he took my room number and said come back around 10am. I did that and was the told to go back at 12pm he still wasnt ther after 3 more attempts to see him I gave up and bought one.

Three days before we were due to go home we went out for the day I left my camcorder on charge when I returned it was on the floor I told them in reseption I was told it was nothing to do with them I asked to see the rep they said we will send him to see you 3 days later no rep.

We were also told we cant sit in reseption it is for staff only and told to get out we were not allowed to use the sunbeds round the poolafter 6pm all in all diabolical.

To top it all 2 hours before we were due to travel they demanded

You cannot fault the cleanliness of these apartments,everyday the pool area was cleaned and tidied up,I never saw a bit of rubbish lying around at all.

We didnt eat here at all as no prices were displayed.

The location is excellent,with so many shops and bars right on the doorstep.

The maids were in everyday cleaning up and change of sheets/towels on a regular basis. Entertainment poor but with so much going on nearby it doesn't matter.

This holiday was fabulous!! The reception staff are really friendly. The pool is very clean and spacious. The food which is available from the poolside bar is delicious but it is a bit expensive.

The pool has no shallow end it is all the same depth but there is a baby pool with a slide. You have to get up kind of earlyish to get your sun loungers, about 9-10am.

The rooms are basic with a different colour theme on each block. There is no lifts but there is stairs!! The pool was very clean and the staff around the pool are very friendly.

The entertainment around the pool was Bingo, which was hosted by the fabulous Marge and Sheila. You can really win loads!

The hotel is located very well. Across the road is the Aussie Bar, it is amazing! You have such a good time there. Spike and Errol are very nice!

All the restaurants and bars are about a 5 minute walk away. The Apollo bar is great for the kids, has a different show on each night.

Jackie's is a great place to eat the food is gorgeous. Also The Garden restaurant is good as well. And there is a MacDonald's, much much better than the English one! The food is very cheap as well.

I was also impressed by the many shops selling fake goods, if that's your kind of thing. There are some good jewellery shops as well.

The atmosphere in Marmaris is very friendly and happy. I would definitely recommend going on a boat trip, they are excellent.

There is 2 decks the top deck has lots of sun loungers on it on which everybody can sunbathe. The bottom deck is very cool and breezy.

Every so often the boat stops, and you can get off and have a swim. It is wonderful!! Also I would definitely recommend a Turkish bath.

It is amazing and leaves you skin feeling silky smooth. Go on the first few days though because it could rub your tan off!!

The nightlife in Turkey is excellent, I would definitely recommend Bar X, Salt n Pepper and The Apollo Bar. Overall, Turkey is amazing and I would definitely go back there!!

Excellent location. Hotel clean. Large apartments.

We were in three rooms on the first floor 203, 205 & 207 in block B overlooking the large pool. Did hear moans about the attic rooms being small but it does tell you either on the web or in the brochure.

Our 'young adults' (the kid's) enjoyed The Aussie bar and we ate a lot of the time in 'Yes Sir' across the main road. We were not impressed with Uno Momento the italian on the front, servie was not good & chicken still ice cold in the middle but they were very sparing with their apologies and still put service charge on the bill ~ which we deducted and told them why as well.Mentioned this as it is in the Thomas Cook booklet as recommended, don't try it.

Found the rep 'Pikey' very pleasant. If I was going back to Marmaris I would stay at these again but I dont think I will be going back as I cant stand the fact that you are pounced on before you reach the shop windows!!

Just got back for marmaris stayed at Club Kocer again. It was fab as always. I don't know how anyone could not recommend this hotel it is great i have been going to marmaris for years and stayed in many places but i wouldn't go anywhere else now i have found club kocer. It is big, clean and everyone is freindly all of the time. The pool and park are brilliant. The kids were entertained all day. Also, there is excellent music and bingo. You couldn't ask for better service from the staff. The maids are lovely and always leave your room immaculate.

The aussie bar over the road is also fab. We went there every night. The drinks are cheap and there is always something on special offer. The staff are brilliant and always ran around after us making sure we had everything we needed! They are all lovely lads.
There is some noise on a night but what do you expect. If you want a peaceful, quiet holiday don't book marmaris. It states in all the brochures its a lively resort. Some people just like to complain for complainings sake. We have had loads of kids with us every year and they have never complained once and they age from 4 to 15.

So, I highly recommend Club Kocer for anyone going to marmaris. We are booked up for august and october and are definatly going back next year!
