Location
opposite the kocer club, there is a bar called the 'aussie bar'! this is an absolute must for you to visit and we found our selves spending every night there! gary (the owner) is the most genuine person you can meet and is so friendly and caring! mitch, rico, ebo and lopez are but a few of the waiters who work there and serve to your every whim! honestly, they do everything for you! what a fantastic group of lads, and a fantastic bar! would come back to marmaris just to stay at the aussie bar!
club kocer...a definate yes from all of us!!!

Whoever writes reviews on here saying the Kocer is dirty and the staff are unfreindly, well you must have been drunk your whole entire stay here.
From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, especially from Alex. He is so sweet, and also worked very hard to make sure we got everything we wanted.
The rooms are lovely and spacious and really clean, the maids were in and out all week cleaning and changing the towels.
All the guys round the bar, are all so friendly and extremely helpful. The pool and the garden is absoloutely spotless, I would definately go there again and again.
So thumbs up Club Kocer you have my vote everytime. Look forward to seeing all you guy,s in September, I can,t wait.

the afternoon.
entertainment for us was mainly the aussie bar - staff were brilliant, particularly becky, gary and martini they made us feel very welcome - will be going back in july 2008 with quite a few other family members.

The complex is in a great location with a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 min walk to the town centre but has plenty shops and restaraunts all around it, only downside our party found was the lack of entertainment and the fact there was only one staff member in the kids club wich can only take 5 at a time and cant leave the club to escort kids to the toilet wich meant that one of our party,s gets had to wet themselves.

The apartments were very clean and regular checks made to the room and staff were very helpful.
Kocer club was central 2 everything. Its a must go to Aussie bar you'll have a great night out, the staff make you very welcome so if you are near the Aussie bar pop in you'll not be disappointed.

The cleanliness was fantastic and we stayed in room 101, our maid was a saint (we're not the tidiest lot) and not only did she clean but she made patterns on the bed with towels and then decorated them with the toddlers sarongs etc to make it colourful...FAB ( if she saw my daughter she would run off and come back with sweeties for her)
Filis on reception will do anything for you (better to go to her than the rep)
The prices round the pool are quite high but its no different wherever you go. Just be careful as you only pay once at the end of the day, which is lethal cos you don't realise its all adding up. We saw some families kicking off that things had been added to their bill that wasn't theirs (my money was on the couple of teenagers in their party that were stood behind them looking a tad sheepish as they'd been sticking stuff on the bill left right and centre)
You couldn't want more from the location, no need for taxi's you are slap bang in the middle of the main drag. We had a 3 year old with us and worried cos our room had one balcony looking over the pool and our toddlers room looking right into the aussie bar but once the doors were shut at midnight, it was fine and we didn't go to bed before midnight because Marmaris is Fab. My Mum had a room overlooking the street which is great to watch the world go by but can get very noisy with no time limit on when it stops!!
I higly recommend this hotel and would definately go again

This year we stayed in an attic room which meant a trek up the stairs and sloping celings but I wouldn't complain about this as the room was big enough for me and my partner and also because we chose to stay in these rooms our holiday was slightly cheaper so no grumbles there.
The rooms were kept really clean and tidy. Was sad the Sybill (our cleaner from 2006) was not there this year - she was working at the captains new hotel - but we did get to see her a few times and her replacements were just as good.
The pool area is clean and tidy, there were a few changes this year, with areas in the shade to sit in and a pool table. Also more pool staff who were always willing to help and cater to your every need. Lots of sunbeds availaible and the food at the bar is reasonably priced.
Not much in the form of evening entertainment at the hotel itself but the aussie bar just over the road is part of the complex and had karaoke every night! Gary is a star and all the staff were eagar to help and to please!
Also in the day this bar has a playstation and a pool table which my cousin used sometimes in the day.
Hotel is right on the main street with a 5 min walk to the beach front and all the main bars and reastuarants. We were regulars at the Albatross bar which is only across the road and also the black mirror bar which has the same owners.
We found that there was a lot less hassle this year as the police were stamping down and closing bars. Although it was nice to not be grabbed every 5 mins it was also sad that a lot of places were closed for 3 days and so not as much choice of places to eat.
I love love love marmaris and will continue to go there for many years! I have already booked this years return trip!
I would recomend the Kocer and Marmaris to anyone looking for a good holiday!
