we've just arrived back from a fantastic 2 weeks stay at the kocer club! contrary to previous reports, we loved our stay and found the hotel had exceeded our expectations! the staff were very welcoming from the start and informed us of every little detail we needed to know about our room for us to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay! air conditioning (a must have!) was 30 pounds a week and the safe a mere 10 pounds a week. the cleaners came in everyday to tidy up and exchange towels! the pool area is huge and very appealing! theres a hotel bar which sells food and drinks but we preferred to eat on the beach front as it was much cheaper! the location couldn't have been better, a 5mins walk to the beach!
opposite the kocer club, there is a bar called the 'aussie bar'! this is an absolute must for you to visit and we found our selves spending every night there! gary (the owner) is the most genuine person you can meet and is so friendly and caring! mitch, rico, ebo and lopez are but a few of the waiters who work there and serve to your every whim! honestly, they do everything for you! what a fantastic group of lads, and a fantastic bar! would come back to marmaris just to stay at the aussie bar!
club kocer...a definate yes from all of us!!!

Just come back from staying at Kocer club 2 weeks ago.

Whoever writes reviews on here saying the Kocer is dirty and the staff are unfreindly, well you must have been drunk your whole entire stay here.

From the minute we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome, especially from Alex. He is so sweet, and also worked very hard to make sure we got everything we wanted.

The rooms are lovely and spacious and really clean, the maids were in and out all week cleaning and changing the towels.

All the guys round the bar, are all so friendly and extremely helpful. The pool and the garden is absoloutely spotless, I would definately go there again and again.

So thumbs up Club Kocer you have my vote everytime. Look forward to seeing all you guy,s in September, I can,t wait.

Just back from our second amazing holiday to the kocer and already have the brochures for 2008! The hotel this year had great big bean bags and cushions in the shade which was superb as the weather was so hot, although people were putting the towels over them and not turning up all day, bit of a shame. The boys at the bar were good fun and didnt mind when they were getting pushed in the pool. The cleaners done a lovely job of the rooms and were always very pleasant. We never really went much to the Aussie bar but did go every night to the Black Mirror pub just across the road, it was great.Looking forward to going back in 2008.

Hi I stayed at the Kocer club apartments and they where great, they were right in the centre of everything. The staff were great, always having a laugh.I would go back next year definately. Also there is a bar right opposite called the Aussie Bar, owned by Garry who was great. We use to go in there for a few drinks before we went to our locals, The albatross car, Dr.Angels and The Black Mirror Bar!! I would highly recommend to people that have not been to these apartments, to go and try it out they are great!!

first time in turkey - brilliant - kocer club brilliant - location very central - staff could not have been more friendly - particularly icut at the pool bar - the maids were super as rooms were always tidy when we came back in
the afternoon.

entertainment for us was mainly the aussie bar - staff were brilliant, particularly becky, gary and martini they made us feel very welcome - will be going back in july 2008 with quite a few other family members.

We stayed at the Club Kocer in May for the first time and thought it was a great though the staff at reception can be a bit more helpful with their guests. The bar staff could not do enough for the visitors especially Alex who let one of our party call home during an emergency from his mobile then refused to take any money for it.

The complex is in a great location with a 5 minute walk to the beach and a 10 min walk to the town centre but has plenty shops and restaraunts all around it, only downside our party found was the lack of entertainment and the fact there was only one staff member in the kids club wich can only take 5 at a time and cant leave the club to escort kids to the toilet wich meant that one of our party,s gets had to wet themselves.

Just back from Marmaris Turkey with my friends and her family. Already booked back up for October can't wait !!

The apartments were very clean and regular checks made to the room and staff were very helpful.

Kocer club was central 2 everything. Its a must go to Aussie bar you'll have a great night out, the staff make you very welcome so if you are near the Aussie bar pop in you'll not be disappointed.

Our party was supposed to stay at Club Kocer but when we arrived they had put us in an attic room, my mother could not manage the stairs. As we where told we would get first floor we didn't even move in as it was supposed to sleep 4 and the look of it 2 would have been a struggle. I sent for Thomas Cook rep Rachel who was very helpful and understanding she couldn't do enough for us she got us moved to another hotel which unfortunatley wasn't suitable. So Nicky the head rep came and moved us again to the Kibele Hotel it was beautiful the staff where so nice and friendly rooms cleaned every day clean towels daily, the bar and resturant staff and management couldn't do enough to make our stay wonderful, what turned out to be a nightmare start ended in the best holiday ever.

Hoping to go back soon I would give the Kibele 10/10 for everything.

We had a fantastic holiday at Club Kocer. We were a mixed group ranging from age 53 down to age 3 and this place suited us all.

The cleanliness was fantastic and we stayed in room 101, our maid was a saint (we're not the tidiest lot) and not only did she clean but she made patterns on the bed with towels and then decorated them with the toddlers sarongs etc to make it colourful...FAB ( if she saw my daughter she would run off and come back with sweeties for her)

Filis on reception will do anything for you (better to go to her than the rep)

The prices round the pool are quite high but its no different wherever you go. Just be careful as you only pay once at the end of the day, which is lethal cos you don't realise its all adding up. We saw some families kicking off that things had been added to their bill that wasn't theirs (my money was on the couple of teenagers in their party that were stood behind them looking a tad sheepish as they'd been sticking stuff on the bill left right and centre)

You couldn't want more from the location, no need for taxi's you are slap bang in the middle of the main drag. We had a 3 year old with us and worried cos our room had one balcony looking over the pool and our toddlers room looking right into the aussie bar but once the doors were shut at midnight, it was fine and we didn't go to bed before midnight because Marmaris is Fab. My Mum had a room overlooking the street which is great to watch the world go by but can get very noisy with no time limit on when it stops!!

I higly recommend this hotel and would definately go again

This was my second visit to the Kocer Club in Marmaris and I loved every minute!

This year we stayed in an attic room which meant a trek up the stairs and sloping celings but I wouldn't complain about this as the room was big enough for me and my partner and also because we chose to stay in these rooms our holiday was slightly cheaper so no grumbles there.

The rooms were kept really clean and tidy. Was sad the Sybill (our cleaner from 2006) was not there this year - she was working at the captains new hotel - but we did get to see her a few times and her replacements were just as good.

The pool area is clean and tidy, there were a few changes this year, with areas in the shade to sit in and a pool table. Also more pool staff who were always willing to help and cater to your every need. Lots of sunbeds availaible and the food at the bar is reasonably priced.

Not much in the form of evening entertainment at the hotel itself but the aussie bar just over the road is part of the complex and had karaoke every night! Gary is a star and all the staff were eagar to help and to please!

Also in the day this bar has a playstation and a pool table which my cousin used sometimes in the day.

Hotel is right on the main street with a 5 min walk to the beach front and all the main bars and reastuarants. We were regulars at the Albatross bar which is only across the road and also the black mirror bar which has the same owners.

We found that there was a lot less hassle this year as the police were stamping down and closing bars. Although it was nice to not be grabbed every 5 mins it was also sad that a lot of places were closed for 3 days and so not as much choice of places to eat.

I love love love marmaris and will continue to go there for many years! I have already booked this years return trip!

I would recomend the Kocer and Marmaris to anyone looking for a good holiday!
