Thanks, we are staying in Tingaki.
Was hoping to do at least Nisyross and Bodrum - quite happy to get to Kardamena if it meant some good trips only available from there?

Please can someone tell me exactly where "Bubbles Beach" is on Kos? I seam to keep reading differing views on which beach it is! - different beach names etc.

Clarification would be greatly appreciated please!
Thanks

Hi. Bubble Beach is just outside of the resort of Kefalos. There are several named beaches along about a two mile stretch, all actually the same big long beach but have different names, Bubble, Banana, Magic, Markos etc.
Bubble Beach is right next to Paradise Beach. Hope this helps

Thank you - certainly points me in the right direction!
Will it be obvious when i get there?
Thanks again

Dear Wizard (or anyone else!)

Do i need to book a taverna in Zia for an evening meal? Or can we just turn up? And any suggestions for which Taverna with the best view/most romantic?

Thanks

zia has several taverns [sorry cant remember them by name] they always seem quite busy, the village itself is like one long street market with little stalls outside most buildings

ideally you need one where you can see the sunset properly hopefully someone with more knowledge than I may be able to advise

and i Hope all goes well for you [we must get back to kos next year [missed it 2 years]

Littlemissmagic.Going to Kos myself in 3 weeks.Stayed in Kardamena Sept for the last 5 out of 6 years.
As stated Bubble beach is part of one long beach.Best to turn off the road for Paradise beach the bubbles are a short swim out.
Kos airport is very small, people standing sitting, lying down in every available spot.Everyone stands outside on a rota system, when one flight is boarded another flight group is allowed in.There is only a small cafe and duty free.
Done the Greek night which is OK.Trip to Bodrum on a Tuesday, give the market a miss (personal opinion)Instead go shopping elsewhere. If offered a free city sight seeing as part of the boat trip give it a miss.Done it once, after a quick tour was taken to a gold, then a leather factory for hours of hard sell. You can buy cheaper in town.
Done Hydrofoil to Rhodes, 2 hrs there 2 hrs back 5hrs on the island.
Going to do the Zia trip and maybe Nysoros this time.

One way to combine Zia trip and sunset, is to book the Greek night. Usually arrive Zia in time to have a wander round, do a bit of shopping etc., before going to the Greek night. Both venues, indoor and outdoor, have views over toward Kalymnos, so you can get sunset pics from them. Plenty of Tavernas in Zia, but the best one (I think) is up the far end of Zia, on the left hand side. No sunset views, but it does great food.

Hiya,

Ive booked the Mitsis Ramira Beach Hotel in Kos for 2 October.

Would be grateful if anyone could guve us some more info on this...

Heard they provide beach towels. Is this right?

Is there a fee for the air condition?

How strict is the dress code? They're website says no shorts or t shirts in the evenings!!! Are mens 3/4 length trousers acceptable?

Thanks in advance

Julie
