Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Don’t stay here. Death would be better.

If you can afford it, get a suite. Overlooking the pool and the sea - perfect!

My top-rated restaurants are Camel, Bodegon Las Tapas, La Romantica, and Ninen.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

Playa Blanca was a very relaxing place to visit. There are a few bars, shops and restaurants but thankfully, no nightclubs.
The Marina was good to stroll around and also take a drink at one of the cafe bars darted around the harbour.
Fuerteventura is within easy access of this resort as well by Ferry and no car is required as this is easy to walk too.
All in all a good resort, but for someone requiring a quiet, peaceful and relaxing time without too much evening entertainment.

We stayed at the Rubicon Marina end of Playa Blanca which is definately our prefered choice. The bars are quite exclusive and nightlife is quite low key.
However there are many more livelier bars and restaurants towards the older part of Playa Blanca which is only about a 20 minute walk away.

Beautifull, lovely clean sandy beach, sadly not enough sun beds as it gets very busy.
very safe area for small children.
Excellent snorkelling off the rocks.
Nice clean restaurants with pleasant staff.

This was our second visit to Playa Blanca as we love it. The walk into Playa Blanca takes 15 to 20 minutes and we recommend the pass which costs 5 euros (refundable on return) which allows you to use the back gates cuts another 5 minutes off your walk.
We ate at some goos restauraunts in Playa Blanca and there is ample shopping.
We did go to the beach at Playa Dorada once but to be honest the Playa Flamingo beach which is a 10 minute walk from the Playa Dorada is much better and quieter and the fish swim around you ( they have got used to tourists feeding them) the water is very clean.

Playa Blanca. Get there now, while it is still a relatively quiet resort. In 3 years time it will be huge. Great shopping, pubs, clubs and cafes. Nice little harbour area where you can sit in the numerous bars and cafes sip an ice cold beer or wine and watch the world go by. Thoroughly safe pedestrianised area, but if you do have children make sure you venture right up the main street the other side of the pedestrianised area to the huge pirate play ship park. Great for kids.

The area around Playa Blanca is developing fast since our last visit 5 years ago, but the town centre is still as clean and friendly as ever.
We love the peace and quiet ie. No discos, No karaoke bars, not the place for rowdy young lager louts.
The fast ferry to Fuertaventura now takes only 15 minutes, so it is easy to compair the two islands.
Hoping that Playa Blanca retains its charm.

Can't really comment on the resort as we were only there for October school week and we spent all our time at the hotel.
Be careful when you use the cash machines. One of them kept my card and the bank was totally unhelpful. They said it would take 2-3 days before the company who emptied it returned it to them which was no good to me as I was leaving the following evening.
I didn't have another one with me so I had to be careful with the little money I had left which was very frustrating at the airport as there is a great shoe shop there.
I had to cancel my card and get another one when I got home.

Our hotel was situated outside Playa Blanca, however the taxis were readily at hand and very resonable as was the courtesy bus, so there was no problems going into town. Nice shops, not a great deal of bars if you just fancied a drink. Generally a family resort, but we enjoyed our visits and as we ate out a fair bit there was a good choice of restaurants. Warm sea and clean beaches around Playa Blanca and the weather was lovely. I would definatly go back to Playa Blanca.

The resort location is fine, the beach was OK but very populated with lots of sun beds
The entertainment as mentioned in the hotel section was poor and a waste of time.

Avoid unless 2* makes you happy. Sadly- it clearly does for many guests.
