Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

There is a lovely walk along the coastline into Playa Blanca. It is a small resort with some excellent restaurants and a few shops and bars. You can sit with a drink and watch the ferries leave regularly for Fuerteventura.
There is a lovely little harbour and it feels quite safe walking around.

Playa Blanca is a wonderful location with plenty of walks and is ideally situated for trips to the other islands.

This Resort was absolutely lovely with everything all near eachother it was only a few minutes walk to beaches, bars, cantonese restraunts and the shops!
The hotels looked very nice both in and out, as I went in and viewed them! Also the hotel 'Natura Palace' looked fabulous and I loved the idea that they had a selection of food for those little stray cats, that wanderend the streets of Lanzarote!
I am definaltely recommending this holiday to you, and would like to see what you have to say about it!

Walked into the town a couple of times and using the back gate it is only 10min walk. Beautiful resort with some lovely bars and restaurants with fantastic views. We taxi'ed back one night and it was approx 3 euros great news if you've had one of two drinks and the back gate closes at 6. Beach is not massive but adequate to amuse the children and have a paddle or swim.

Stayed in playa blanca, which we thought was great, as we travelled with our 3yr old, who never wanted to leave the beach once in the fortnight that we stayed there.
Plenty of room on the beach for everybody, ample sunbeds and parasols.
All in all, fab beach and clean sea, couldn't fault a thing, that is why we have already booked to go back in march 2006, for three weeks.

The resort is clean and well maintained with nice beaches and marina. It comprises mainly of licensed restaurants and small shops which give it a nice relaxed and quiet feel.
If lively English theme pub bars and discos are your thing, Playa Blanca is not for you. Try Puerto Del Carmen instead.

Playa Blanca is lovely, our hotel was at one end away from the main shopping area but it was only a 10 min walk maximum. There were a few shops, restaurants and bars nearby but that suited us down to the ground. In our opinion this was the best location to be, lovely beach a short walk from the hotel. It has a nicely lit promenade to walk to the main shopping area on a night time. Bit of building work going on nearby but did not bother us at all.

Playa Blanca is a smallish town but still has an array of bars and restaurants but not the place to visit if you want to go out clubbing every night. It has a nice clean beach in Playa Blanca itself and two little beachy coves outside the Hotel Rubicón. The ferry to Fuerteventura leaves from Playa Blanca about 4-5 times a day and takes about 20 mins and costs about €25 p.p. return. This is definitely well worth it as the beaches are out of the Bounty advert! The resort and hotel were very clean. We live in Tenerife and are used to sharing the island with the cockroaches! Whilst in Lanzarote, we didn´t see one sing cockroach for the entire week!!
