Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Don’t stay here. Death would be better.

If you can afford it, get a suite. Overlooking the pool and the sea - perfect!

My top-rated restaurants are Camel, Bodegon Las Tapas, La Romantica, and Ninen.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

SEEMED VERY CLEAN WITH GOOD BEACH

Playa Blanca is very clean and in my opinion the nicest place in Lanzarote.
There is no real entertainment just restaurants.
They are very cheap and the service is very good.
If you want nice weather ,clean streets, friendly people and want to relax and do nothing but sit in the sun all week this is the place to go.
Would recommend it to families or couples.

You could eat your dinner off the roads, we have never been anywhere that is so clean.
The harbour hosts some wonderful restaurants and bars. The shops were idylic and the shop keepers were not in your face. The goods on sale were top names & not much tack about either.
The Beach at the Flamingo Playa was wonderful that too was spotless and not too many sunbeds either

Quite a quiet resort. Mainly restaurants along the front.
Beach was really nice.
May not be suitable if you enjoy nightlife.

Playa Blanca a fairly quiet resort. Plenty of choice for eating out and a nice shopping area too. Long promeade for strolling along, and easy to get ferry to Fuerterventura for a day. Two beaches are okay, not the world's best, but not too bad.

Not for clubbers or scrubbers, just nice places to satisfy your hunger pangs and to slake your thirst. Some really nice restaurants, Canarian, Chinese, etc. and a couple of British style bars worth mentioning.
The Kings Head is right on the walkway round the prom and is Canarian owned with a Bradford lad, Gazza (not HIM) playing some mean guitar. On the road up from the harbour (400 yds away), on the left is a little square of entertainment places.
The best of these is 'Legends' a karaoke bar. Not noisy or over-run with rowdies, just well run with some nice staff and a girl behind the bar (Vikky?) who really gives it her all when she goes on stage.
During our week they had had, two power cuts, a water pump failure and rain coming thro' the ceiling, collected in two wheely bins, but the show carried on!
Not much of a beach and it does get a bit breezy at times.
For anyone who likes to go shopping or just walking round shops, the pedestrianised area 200yds off the front is a must.
Incidentally, if you are buying cigarettes, tobacco or spirits take note. Prices on the plane for cigarettes are around £15/200, £20/400, but in Lanzarote they are usually 18 euro/200 (£13/200).
The ones on the plane are duty-paid so it might pay to take them into the island and back out when you go, just a thought.

Playa Blanca is the newest and quietest resort on Lanzarote, the entertainment is low key and mainly just bars and restraurants with a little music.
There are hotels open to non residents some with entertainment.
The main beach is sheltered from the wind and is ideal for familie's and couples alike.
The constant breeze is a factor on the island, but you do get used of it and it won't spoil your enjoyment

The resort was very clean.
The entertainment was mainly by the reps with a few professional shows. The irish pub within the complex had a good singer every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 7.30 until 9pm. Then ready for the entertainment at the globe.
Lovely sandy beach at Playa Blanca a sheltered spot away from the wind.

We found that the resort was clean but beware of the pot holes and raised pavements.
There was music in nearly every bar the beach was first class.

Avoid unless 2* makes you happy. Sadly- it clearly does for many guests.
