Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Don’t stay here. Death would be better.
Don’t stay here. I would stay under a rock on the beach in Playa Blanca over this.

If you can afford it, get a suite. Overlooking the pool and the sea - perfect!

My top-rated restaurants are Camel, Bodegon Las Tapas, La Romantica, and Ninen.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

Playa Blanca is a very quiet resort and to be honest is suited to those who dont have kids, middle aged and over and like to be in bed by 10pm!
We took our tot and there was nothing to do except stroll down to marina area or wla to where the ferries come in.
However I shall recommend New Orleans grill / pizzeria / bar next to euro bungee underneath Burger King.
We went there every night and my boy made a firend of the staff and was upset to leave every night, food fab and beer ice cold!
This resort is still developing i belive maybe they could introduce some child friendly activity area?

Loved Playa Blanca! There was much more there than i was expecting. Lots of bars and restaurants, even a disco open until 5am!
I found a childrens paradise on the 2nd from last day- Kikoland- next to the Princess Yaiza Hotel. For 10 euros a family of 4 can stay all day and enjoy 3 x 2 hour sessions a day of kids clubs, from baby upto teenagers! Alovely adults pool to relax in while kids play, and slides , paddling pools etc. Well worth going with kids.

The beaches in Playa Blanca were very good. Playa Flamingo which is quite a trek past the ferry point and the Anvil is a sandy beach and almost completely fenced in with rocks making it very safe and hardly any waves. Playa dorada beach was larger and more fine rocks than sand but still very clean and quite safe. You do need to be aware of the rocks as they can be concealed when the tide comes in. There are quite a few shops in Playa Blanca although most are tourist based. The resort as a whole was very clean and the people very friendly. We ate out a few times. Twice for lunch at the Anvil which is an Irish bar which is very nice and has sky sports. We also had an evening meal at the Sun City Chinese, again this was delicious and although not really cheap you did get good value for money!! Would definately go to Playa Blanca again!!

The resort is lovely and clean with a good array of shops and supermarkets and the beaches are very clean with golden sand and very clear water in which you can see fish swimming around in!

Playa Blanca is about a 20 minute walk from H10 Rubicon Palance along a seafront promenade.
There were quite a few shops and a nice harbour with excellent boat trips (try the glass bottomed boat trip).

Playa Blanca was always very clean, the beach small but lovely and not too crowded at that time of year. There were coach day trips and the ferry to Fuertoventura which were OK but also quite expensive.
As the hotel was so far out to any nightlife or shops we often visited Puerto Del Carmen by taxi which cost 30 euros a time (there and back - 60 euros!!) which was expensive but worth it, we went to the shopping centre, fabulous restaurants, pubs and nightclubs.
I wouldn't have changed a thing about the holiday though and would definately go back to H10 hotels again.

Playa Blanca is a lovely little resort, one of the quieter areas of Lanzarote but still plenty to do for all the family.
There are three sandy coves in Playa Blanca, all looked very well kept and clean.
I would definetly retun again. From Playa Blanca, you can catch the ferry to Fuerteventura, the children enjoyed watching the boats coming and going.

Excellent resort and quieter/more refined than other Lanzarote resorts. We liked it!

Playa Blanca is good if you want a quieter time. Entertainment limited in the evenings but an excellent choice of restaurants although more pricey than some resorts.
We enjoyed eating at El Marisco near the pharmacy, Lani's at Rubicon Marina and Brisa Mar on the promenade.
There are 2 sandy beaches and a long promenade for walking.
Shops very much for the tourist a lot of them selling junk. Also a lot of camera shops but beware we heard on a couple who really got conned here and came unstuck.

Small beaches near town can get very crowded.
Papagayo beaches beautiful but need a car and have no facilities there.
Little to do in evening but eat out (La Cuadra is excellent), but is loveley for oldies to sit and watch the ferries dock at the harbour. A couple of amusement arcades.

Avoid unless 2* makes you happy. Sadly- it clearly does for many guests.
