Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

Olu DEniz as ever is small but large enough to have lots to do and buy, quiet but lively enough for couples and small families.
The beach is not sand though but fine pebbles going into sharp sand almost but the sea is out of this world.

The area was very clean and tidy all over, it is a very small and friendly resort with alot of bars and resturants if you want livlier go up the hill to Hisaronou about 5 mins on a minibus. It is very easy and cheap to get around on public transport. Having visited Olu Deniz twice we wouldn't go back there but would definatly go to Turkey again, as all the area everyone was very friendly and helpful even in the non tourist areas.

Resort was quiet by today's standards but had bars on the beach front and shops in the main street.
not a lot of hassle compared to marmaris the year before which was a welcome change.

I was really impressed with Olu Deniz & can't wait to book up for next year. There is a main street which has various shops, bars & restaurants, all different but they are all a good standard. There is also a great place called the Help Bar along the beach front which serves great food and cocktails! Well worth a visit. I felt safe in Olu Deniz, you get the usual banter being two young women but it is all done in good humour and not overbearing. I found them very friendly & funny, they added to the holiday.
The Blue Lagoon is worth a visit, its beautiful but the main beach is just as good, the water is crystal clear & the view back to the mountains is spectacular. The beach is made up of sand & pebbles and a little bit awkward on the feet when going in - but who cares!!
Paragliders sail overhead all day & they will mesmerise you as the sun goes down as you sit at your pool in the late afternoon sipping on your drink, Olu Deniz is a true piece of paradise & you deserve to go!

Olu Deniz is beautiful, with crystal clear 3 tone turquoise sea. A visit to 'The Blue Lagoon' is a must.
The resort and the beach (although shingle not sand) are very clean and safe.
Olu Deniz is not for your clubbers as there aren't any night clubs, it's more for couples and people wanting a relaxing sun drenched holiday.
There's plenty of restaurants and shops selling fake products (Turkey don't have copyright laws), so always haggle for the lowest price you can get.

absolutely loved olu deniz. first time to turkey and definitely not the last. although i would go in september next time....it was sooooo hot, sweated in places i've never sweated before!! beautiful scenery, crystal clear sea, friendly people...who work very long hours but still have time to laugh and joke with you. standards of food, presentation and service was excellent. uk could learn a lot! prices similar to uk, but shop around. restaurants on main strip and sea front naturally more expensive than those just off the beaten track. all restaurants/bars have staff trying to entice you in, but a friendly 'maybe tomorrow',will produce a smile and a wave. my abiding memory will be of drinking a cocktail on the bean bags on the beach at sunset (turn left 'sunrise cafe' with really cool dude waiter) watching the paragliders float across the skyline, listening to 'mood' music. olu deniz is a quiet resort compared to many but there is still plenty to see and do, dont miss the blue lagoon, jeep safari (hot, dusty but great fun), and paragliding if you're brave enough..we were and the views were amazing. thank you turkey, we'll definetely be back!!!

the resort is as clean as where i live in england, just obviously due to the heat (which we should expect!)everything is very dry-particularly due to the heat wave they have been having.
there are other restaurants in the area but please note they are some walking distance away.
the beach-is olu deniz-which you have to catch bus for. the lagoon is better then the beach due to the fact the beach is pebbles. but to be honest i am more pool person anyway.
