Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

Beaches

The resort of Olu Deniz is beautiful - very clean and full of so many friendly people. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. The beach is lovely, however, we found Saura Beach just around the corner from the Lagoon - a mini-bus comes to pick you up from the hotel free of charge and drops you back off at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone - there's something there for all ages. Pay a visit, you will not be disappointed!

The resort itself is very nice there is a nice promenade to walk along but watch out for the landing paragliders as they land on the prom or the beach or the patches of grass ! Plenty of bars and restaurants and its quite cheap to eat out. We went to the Buzz beachbar as it was our wedding anniversary and had a fantastic meal for 3 adults with 2 beers,2 fantras 4 cocktails a bottle of wine with 2 2 course meals and 1main course, it cost us just under £60. You can look at this bar on their webcam. Go to www.buzzbechbar.com

Excellent place to visit! our first time in turkey and not the last. Was very impressed with not being mithered on every street corner by the touts and flyer/time share pushers. the locals are very friendly indeed. drinks not to expensive..£2-00 for a beer, branded spirits and cocktails around £4-00. recomend the buzz bar at sun set watching the paragliders landing on the beach front. had a go at the paragliding... best £50 ive spent for ages, great buzz.
overall one of the best holidays weve had for years, and we have around 4-5 per year.Go give the place a go!

Olu Deniz is a great place to stay, it's clean and friendly. The resort is geared around tourists but there is a good mixture of Turkish, German and English tourists there.
There are plenty of restaurants serving traditional Turkish cuisine, try the lamb casserole and Turkish mixed grill at Joseph's. There are lots of shops selling gifts and traditional Turkish items. If you like Chinese go to the China Sun, get there for about 7 when you the sun is setting and all the paragliders are out, we got some amazing pictures. The Help Beach Bar is great for afternonn lunches and cocktails, has a really chilled laid back beach bum feel to it.
There are alot of agents selling excursions out and about, shop around for the best prices, we went to Fethiye market with the Lagoon Travel Agency, they forgot us so our hotel rang them and they came back for us but we had to sit for about 10 minutes in the boot of the people carrier with not seat or belt! Can't actually believed we did it but it worked out to be a great day out and I would still recommend them in spite of this. If you go to the market take plenty of water it gets hot and don't shake hands with the vendors, they've got you then. One grabbed my arm and tried to put a bracelet on me, a firm no and he left me alone.
Paragliding is a popular choice my Hub did it with Icarus, they were abit more expensive but highly friendly and professional. He had an amazing float down the mountains.
The Turkish people are amazingly welcoming and friendly, they can be abit pushy asking you to go into the shops, restaurants etc, best thing to do is just say no thankyou or ignore them.
The beach is lovely very clean, be aware that it is quite stoney, so invest in some sort of sandal which you can swim in if you like that sort of thing, we got swimming shoes from one of the shops and it made life on the beach alot more comfortable. The sea can be very choppy and wavey so be careful of little ones or weak swimmers.
I would definately go back to Olu Deniz and for 2 weeks instead of one. It is on a par with England for drinks prices tho, so bring plenty of spends.

Olu deniz is a great resort, streets are very clean, you get the odd back street with bins full of rotten vegtables which stink a bit but not commonplace. Get a bit fed up with the shop and bar staff jumping on you as you walk past to get your custom but you become used to that very quickly. Did not use beach much because pool was very nice. Great of a night with so much going on and some of the excursions are a must, dont book with first one you come to, shop around because prices can vary quit a bit. Jeep safari a must but prepare to be soaked most the day, even in vehicles. A great resort and look forward to being back there some time soon.

Scenery is out of this world. Beaches and sea are very clean. Private beaches are definitely worthy of a visit - blue lagoon and kirdak National park (athough transport necessary for kirdak. Beach prices are very reasonable. Hassle free resort which is an excellent bonus. The local people are extremely helpful and friendly and very genuine. We hired a car which enabled us to go exploring - very worthwhile, although the roads and local traffic needs careful handling. We were totally impressed with everything about this resort and will definitley consider revisiting again in the future.

Olu deniz is quite simply magnificent, the lagoon is just wonderful, so are the people the scenery and greenery. Just enjoy the plentyful bars, excellent resturants and limited nightlife to the full. The prices are creeping up but is still good value
I cant wait to go back

Lovely clean resort. The main beach is really rough and unsuitable for kids - even adults. Very stoney so it hurts your feet. The lagoon is lovely although it has changed since I was there 16 yrs ago. Too many beds around tip of lagoon and almost impossible to get to water. If you go to sugar beach which is opposite lagoon on right just as you were about to pay to go onto lagoon - this is free much nicer and a lovely lovely beach.
