Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

A very nice resort although it was more British than I expected. The views of the mountains and the lagoon area were terrific. I'd say there was a mixture of traditional eateries and those that were very British.
Prices have gone up but we could still get a decent evening meal for around £12 each- the drinks were very expensive apart from the local efes which was on average £2.20 for a large (not quite a pint). The only local spirits on offer were Raki, Gin, Vodka and Brandy which came in at around £3.50. If you wanted imported drinks such as rum or bacardi they were over £5.
The resort could have been cleaner but it wasn't too bad. There were over-flowing bins and some litter and cigarette ends on the main beach and the main toilets on the front were filthy. we tended to go to the beaches on the lagoon which were very clean and breathtakingly beautiful.
The resort was very busy as you'd expect at peak weeks but i think the area's becoming too British.

The resort is beautiful with the blue lagoon and sea but not cheap at the shops. The best buys are at the resort at the top of the hill were it is also cooler from the breeze. Oldeniz is hot as it sit on the sea edge surrounded by high mountian. Most of the days the heat was reaching 50c too hot for me.

Typical seaside resort, with one main street full of good quality retaurants and shops down to the usual tacky seaside articles. Area kept very clean beach area was good but be aware of the sudden depth when going into the sea. This resort however seems to think itself a bit more up market than its neighbours up the hill and as a result hikes up prices. Serious shopping get a dolmus and go into another town

Excellent resort, enough for 2 weeks and easy to hop on a dolmus and go to other resorts and towns nearby. Be prepared for a bit of hassle but just a "no thanks" was enough, some of the trip sellers were actually quite amusing.

Olu Deniz is simply stunning! A small resort but you would never get bored. I had 2 weeks there and have come back totally chilled out. The scenery is mountainous, crystal clear waters in the sea, although very pebbly but very clean. Visit the Buzz bar for a champagne cocktail and watch the sunset with all the paragliders coming in! Wow! Or chill out on the bean bags on the beach with a cocktail! We are definately heading back next year!

We spent most of our time in Oludeniz which is a short bus ride down the mountain (its not really possible to walk as the road if loose gravel, it is steep and there is no footpath), the dolmus (bus) costs £2.50 return. The beach is gorgeous, it is not sandy but small pebbles...so not very comfy to walk on, but this means the water is very clear. The sunbeds and umbrella cost £3 each (so we were paying £9 on sunbeds, and £5 in buses just to go to the beach and back between 2 of us...over a week this adds up fairly quickly).
There are many restaurants along the beach and a main pedestrians road coming up off the beach. there is a huge variety of food as you would expect of a tourist resort. It is not cheap as they have clearly set prices on par with the euro, so a main dish ranges from £7 to £30. Fish was expensive (we didn't find anything for under £12). Alcohol is UK prices.
Just don't think Turkey is cheap as for most things its equal to Europe.
Shopping: There are tourist shops and imitation everything...sunglasses, handbags (nice leather), trainers etc
Trips: We went on a 6 island boat trip, which was excellent value, we paid £7 each. This included transfer from the hotel to the boat, trip 11am-6pm and lunch (salad, bread + chicken/fish). Was great for sunbathing and swimming. You are not aloud to take drinks onto the boat (as they want you to buy theirs) but we still had water in our bags.
We took the bus to Fethiye one evening, there wasn't much to do but it was nice to walk along the harbour.
I would recommend the area, if you are looking for a hot beach holiday then its definitely the place, there was also a lot of water sports available too.

Olu Deniz is a small resort. Purpose built I think. It has lots of bars, shops and restaurants. Shops are running down one main street and along the beach front. (In the shape of a “T”). The Beach is made up of stones. Beach shoes are recommended. There is a Blue Lagoon which is about a 10 minute walk along the beach. This is beautiful and only cost 4 lira for the day. 5 Lira for a sun bed also. Lovely quiet area. In town there are a lot of places selling excursions. We did the Jeep Safari with Focus Travel. Great day for £15 per person which included lunch, and the Mud Baths. More like a water fight between all the jeeps all day. Brilliant fun!
