Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

Beaches

The resort of Olu Deniz was a refreshing change for Turkey, no hassle in the shops. The beach outside the hotel was not great but the blue lagoon is a really nice place to spend the day and only a few mins walk down the front. transport is great for getting about and not so much hassle in the local markets either so well worth a visit. I will be going back next year.

The resort was beautiful, had everything you needed. Numerous restaurants, cafes, bars and shops, and some very good entertainment in the restaurants and bars! Very little hassle from people trying to get your business, once you said no or explained your plans they were great, very polite. There were very good trips to go on, especially the jeep safari with "bloody gorgeous" company, had a great laugh and a lovely day sightseeing.
It has just the right amount of entertainment in the evening, but it is not "in your face", certainly not like marmaris or blackpool.

Oludeniz is a reasonably small, very relaxed place centred around the main strip, this runs up from the beach rather than along the shoreline, plenty of bars and places to eat, mainly directed at the British Tourist, the beach is coarse sand and shingle, the Blue Lagoon was a bit of a dissapointment, eating out can be quite expensive.

olu deniz is a lovely resort with a fabulous lagoon area very scenic, the prices have gone up a lot since there 4 yrs ago but hisaronu is much cheaper for everything ,especially food

We enjoyed our stay very much, we thought the resort was lovely very pretty and the perfect size. Good selection of shops and restraunts. We would definately return to this resort. The bus service was very good never had to wait for more than a couple of minuetes, and it was very reasonable.

we think olu deniz is a great little resort and love the lagoon area, prices are on the high side compared to hisaronu and a lot higher than akyaka our usual holiday desitination
olu deniz beach sun beds 6 lira each whereas akyaka only 2
casseroles are around 15-20 lira whereas akyaka around 9
beer 5 lira again akyaka 3.5
steak 27-29 lira akyaka 18-24
so these are just a rough guide to show how much dearer it is compared to a typical turkish resort, so we feel tourist resorts rip you off quite a bit

Ovacik itself is very quiet. A few kilometers down the road you have the lively resort of HISARONU. Always some form of entertainment ( try the Time Out bar ). Or try OLU DENIZ or FETIYHE ( again a few kilometers down the road ).
Had no need to go to the beach as the pool at the YEL is great.
Would go back to this hotel again, but not for the last two weeks of the season. May is the best time; good weather, great food and as it is the begining of the season everything is tip top.

The resort was very nice, lots of shops, bars, restaurants, good nightlife. The private beach near Olu Deniz was lovely. Regular bus service, which is very cheap.

Oludeniz is a great resort with plenty to do both day and night.
If you fancy the beach there are lots of options in the area, although most tend to be shingle or pebble rather than fine sand. As such it is a good idea to invest in a pair of beach shoes (from £4 to £10 in resort) other wise getting in and out of the sea can be a bit uncomfotable. Theres the main resort beach, the lagoon, numerous private beaches all offering a free minibus service to and from your hotel. Also further options if you were to hire a car or jump on a dolmus. For me I preferred the lagoon although there was a small entrance charge of about £1.50.
Theres plenty of excursions and activities to choose from with numerous companies operating in the resort. I'd highly recommend paragliding and the jeep safari. There are also plenty of places easily accessible by dolmus like Hisaronu, Fethiye and Kayakoy (ghost village).
At night theres lots of good quality restaurants to choose from, many bars (some quiet and some lively), a bowling alley, a chillout bar on the beach with everyone sat on beanbags, and Hisaronu just 10 minutes away for a livelier night if thats what your after.

resort was great, however be aware that at 05:00hrs every morning the local mosque will broadcast a Call to Prayers as part of country/religious custom - suggest you check how close nearest mosque is.
