Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

Really liked Olu Deniz, we did not see it at it's best as we had a few storms and rainy days. The beach was nice and the lagoon was lovely.

Didn't find that much entertainment at night, not like Icmeler where we went in May, but it was fine for us and I in fact found eating out cheaper than May. Maybe because it was end of season. Didn't find that many bargain shopping either. They didn't seem to want to lower their prices.

As said I would visit again, as we didn't see it at it's best this October.

My only complaint is that there are too many dogs roaming about.

The rain in the second week of October washed a lot of mud and the sewer system couldn't cope, however I cant hold this against the resort as the weather was a freak for the time of year.

We were entertained in our hotel but to be honest it didn't look like there was much going on in the resort beyond shopping in the evenings.

The beach is beautiful and a great place to be to watch the sun go down. However it is stoney and a pair of neoprene beach shoes that seal the stones out will be a good investment take your own or buy in resort for about £4 a pair.

Olu Deniz is a beautiful resort. The beach is very stony, so you will need sandals, but very picturesque. The location is great for a relaxing holiday, although there's not a great deal to do if you're not sporty, but as a base for exploring the region it's perfect, as you get the beautiful scenery and relaxing atmosphere with loads to see and do a short dolmus trip away.

The resort is really clean.
we travelled on the 6th october and stayed 14nights.
we had really bad weather for the time of year which didnt do olu deniz much justice, as there was sewerage and mud everywhere. When the sun was out it was lovely but gets quite hot between 12 and 2.

shopping in olu deniz is all the same head to either hisaroun or fethiye market.

planning on returning shortly to get married on the blue lagoon but am staying in the asena village hotel in hisaronu this october which is brilliant for kids and offers more things to do.
Will definately return to this hotel whether its for my wedding or not!!

The resort is not very big and all the shops seem to sell the same things, although it is a nice resort.

The beach is large and pebbly and sea is not suitable for kids as there is quite a large drop a few meters out.

The blue Lagoon is nice for a day out, although we thought it was over rated.

We loved olu deniz it was the perfect peaceful santuary we needed. It has some fantastic restaurants such as captain hook for the seafood , and sultan ahmet for the lovely turkish food and fillet steaks . The staff there made us feel like royalty. It is not really a lively resort but you can get to hisaronu very cheeply by taxis or dolmus. However belez beach bar for sunset is worth a visit as help bar for its chilled house and frozen cocktails and nibbles . Tequilla bar is also worth a visit. The trips with the rep where expensive try bloody georgeous he is a lot cheeper but be careful as his exchange rate changes daily . but his jeep safari is the best on by far.

The resort was really clean, we didn't spend much time out in the different bars, as we went half board so we stayed in our hotel, but there was plenty of bars to choose from.

The beach was nice but really pebbley in the water, and it went deep quite quick when you walked in to it, the waves are very hard to, so I wouldn't let the children go in the sea, because they would be knocked of they feet.

There wasn't enough for children in this resort so I wouldn't go back there, unless on our own.

The resort consists of hotels and a main street that leads down to the beach. There is no town or village to look around as such. Shops full of fake designer gear, jewellery, shoes and places selling excursions. Enough restaurants to eat at a different one every night for a month or two. Pleasant beach, mixture of rough sand and pebbles, shelves steeply as soon as you enter the water. Suara beach in the lagoon much better. Free shuttle bus service there from hotels, which only takes 5 minutes. Paid 15 YTL for 2 sunbeds and an umbrella - very good value. Pedallos and canoes for hire. Very relaxing, but again nowhere to wander about.
Highly recommend Jeep Safari and boat trip. Booked both with Bloody Gorgeous. Jeep safari drivers led by 'Ali G' were mad and really helped make the day, good lunch included. Great fun had by all ages from a little girl of about 3 to a number of retired folk. Boat trip very scenic and enjoyable, swimming off the boat, exploring coves and sunbathing on board. Lunch again provided in the (ridiculously low) price.
Spent several evenings in Tequila Bar with mad Dennis the Menace and his dancing waiters listening to decent music.
Overall a great place if you just want to relax and sunbathe, but we needed to go on a few trips to break the monotony.

The resort of Olu Deniz is just excellent. Always kept so clean. Never seen any litter on the street! So many excellent bars and restaurants and this year seemed busier that Hisaronu. The beach was always clean with the crystal clear blue sea.
