Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

Having stayed at several resorts in Turkey, Olu Deniz is my favourite so far. I don't think it would be suitable for anybody looking for discos or really loud bars but for those who enjoy liggering over a meal and watching the world go by then it is an ideal location. We booked a visit to Fethiye Market and the ghost town and also the jeep safari which is an amusing day out, remember to take a water pistol, with Hannibal Tours. Both trips were very good value for money with knowledgable guides and good drivers. We also booked for paragliding but unfortunately this was cancelled due to the weather. There is alot I could write about this delighful resort but go and try it for yourself and see what you think.

Third visit to Olúdeniz, we still enjoyed it there but would like to see more of Turkey, in particular somewhere a little more secluded and cosmopolitan in its visitors.

Beautiful place surrounded by mountains and not too overcommercialised. We book direct with the hotel and get our flights over the internet-always saves a few hundred pounds.

Side is a lovely quiet area to visit and all the locals are really friendly.
A visit to the ruins is also recommended for excellent pictures of the sunset.

First time to Turkey and decided on Olu Deniz, having seen the beautiful lagoon pictures from vitually every Turkey brochure there is!
It truly is a beautiful place and the views of the mountains are spectacular. The beach is fantastic too and walking around to the actual lagoon is well worth it, as it's one of the most beautiful places I'd ever seen in my life!
Recommend paragliding - took a week to get up enough courage to do it, but so much fun and the views when you're up there are truly unforgettable! Be warned though, the drive up the mountain is not for the faint hearted, this was actually more scary than being in the air!
A sunset cruise is also worth doing. Beautiful peaceful cruise all around the bay and really relaxing.
The only thing that could have been better about this holiday was the food. All the restaurants seemed to be much of a muchness, although there were a few exceptions. Oyster Residence had a lovely restaurant, limited menu but absolutely delicious food.

The beach is clean. There are plenty of shops in the resort, along with restaurants, cafes, pubs etc. Transport is readily available from the village and serves the main towns well.

resort was very clean everything on your doorstep loads of tour places must be at least 15, in a 10 minute walk, easy riders very good , some will give you a free trip if you book two with them, drink prices differ from bar to bar 3.5 tl for a beer about 1.35 and some charge 5.00 tl about 1 pound 80 pence for the same beer beaches are much better on the private beaches on the other side of the lagoon ie sugar beach which you can get a free mini bus from reception that returns every half hour between 5.00pm and 8.00pm, if you want more bars and shops 3 pairs of jeans 30 pounds 6 dvd movies 10 pounds hisarno a few miles up the road about 2 tl each on the dalmus 72 pence, the jeep safri is a must and 6 bay boat trip, we tried canoeing trip through national park 8 miles on the river with lunch,we would visit again in three or four years time , if you are there for two weeks think you need to book two or three trips a week for something to do
