Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

Olu Deniz is stunning and the Turkish people are lovely, particular mention goes to Josephs restaurant as it kept us going big time, sometimes the constant "alwight mate" can
be a bit grating but over all its a beautiful place to stay.

Been to Turkey before, this resort is very exspensive if you are after cheap designer gear its on par with England and its not of a good quality copy, like we have got in previous year so this year came home with lighter cases than we went with.
Thats the only down side we found apart from that the beach is great take some beach shoes you will need them to get in and out of the sea its not suitable for small children the waves are very large and powerful.
The food is second to none had 14 nights and 14 different resturants.

Olu Deniz is a very small resort. It doesn't take very long to find everything and get to know everyone.
We got hassled a bit on our first night to buy t-shirts, bags, perfume, gold, to book trips, eat meals, have drinks etc but if you just tell them you've already got one/booked it/eaten meal they'll leave you alone. After the 2nd/3rd night they remember you and leave you alone anyway.
The excursions sold by your tour operator reps are incredibly over-priced. Go out to the main street and get all the leaflets (and banter) from the various tour agents in the resort.
Be careful if you book with Bloody Gorgeous at Metrolya - he talks fast, has you booked on stuff before you've even thought about it and tries to rip you off, but he's a good laugh if you keep your wits about you, and the trips we did book through him were really good.
We booked the Dalyan (Mud Bath) trip and a boat trip around Olu Deniz with Metrolya, but we decided not to do their jeep safari and booked that instead with Karacay (Activities Unlimited) further up the hill - the Karacay jeeps are bigger, comfier, and have seat belts.
The main beach is all shingle and big pebbles, and is very hard on the feet - most shops in the resorts sell special shoes suitable for the beach.
The streets are very badly lit at night, in fact the only lights come from the bars and shops, and the pavements are very uneven so you have to be careful.
Our hotel was all-inclusive, so I can't really comment on bars and restaurants, but we did spend a good night in Ottomans watching the Big Brother Final!
The resort felt very safe. I didn't mind letting my teenagers wander off to the supermarket for Doritos and chocolate and an hour in the internet cafe, and I felt safe leaving them at the hotel while I went for a peaceful shopping stroll on my own.
Everyone is very friendly, the shopkeepers remember your name and always have time for a chat.
It's a lovely little place but it's so small I feel like I've seen it now and don't really need to go back.

Not very impressed with the beach very stoney not suitable for children.

A lovely vista and facilities. Turkish toilets however and watch your heads with the parascenders landing.

The resort was clean compared to another resort I have visited in Turkey, as there is really only one street to visit in Olu Deniz (just right for us).
The entertainment is primarily restaurant based, again great for us. There were a couple of bars in the main street and on the sea front, but no real clubs, the bars tend to close when the last person leaves. There is a great restaurant on the sea front which sells, Indian, Thai and Italian food, when you sit at the bar at about 8pm it is so beautiful watching the sun setting in a very peaceful environment
The beach is pebbly (hurts a bit). The lagoon was really nice, the sea was warm, and the surrounding hills and mountains provied the scenery. It is good to know that you have been there, as they seem to use this picture of the lagoon to advertise Turkey in the brochures you pick up
Would visit the resort as it is very relaxing. The local people are great and the English who seem to visit it are all of the same relaxed nature. Lots of Turks also holiday there as it is one of their national parks, which adds to the more cosmopolitan nature of the place.

The beach seemed OK but was made of half pebbles, half sand so not too comfortable under foot. There were plenty of bars and a couple of good clubs in the resort. It was extremely clean no matter where you went.

The resort is more towards familys the beach is small shingle and it gets every where. There is plenty of small bars and shops you will get asked to come in but if you don't want to they don't push it.

We found the resort to be clean especially the beach. it's worth a visit to BHS (Brigits Home Stores) but do try clothes on and check you have been given the right size and barter.
Every one in the hotel and resort where all very helpful and never seem to stop smiling. If you decide to go to the lagoon it is about 20 minute walk but gets very busy.
We were not hassled by the shop keepers adn they give you apple tea in every shop.

We stayed at the Belchekis Beach hotel in Olu Deniz. The resort was fantastic. Our hotel was directly on the beach, the people were so friendly. There was lots of activities, we went scuba diving, para-gliding, and a lot of other activities. The night life was excellent, a club called crusoes in particular, that played a good selection of music and went on until the early hours. A short bus ride away is Hisaronu where there is plenty of clubs to suit every musical taste. The shops around Olu deniz were fantastic and everybody was really friendly. We was a group of 3 girls and always felt safe, even coming home in the early hours. The beaches were fantastic. I would highly recommend.
