Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

Olu Deniz is a small town, close to a very famous lagoon and its beach. It was clean with a good selection of shops and restaurants. The setting in the mountains is beautiful. It is a very British resort with most of the tourists coming from the UK.
In terms of entertainment it is mainly bars, restaurants and shopping, there did not appear to be any clubs or mucic bars. The main belcekic beach is a mixture of sand and shingle, the beach is large and broad, certain parts of the sea become deep very quickly and are not safe for young children. The main lagoon beach is also sand and shingle and in parts can be narrow, there is a small entry fee to go on to this. The private lagoon beaches which you hotels take you to are more sandy and preferrable to the public lagoon beach. the lagoon is very shallow and ideal for young children to swim in.
Everywhere you are in Olu Deniz the views are stunning. Its worth visiting the resort for this alone. The Turkish people are incredibly friendly.
We will return at some time.

Resort very pretty place, beach was lovely, recommend beach shoes as it was very stoney. Lots of nice restaurants and bars, recommend the Tequila bar, Josephs restaurant, Secret Garden Restaurant and the Pine Tree restaurant. Boat trips great value for money and very enjoyable. Blue lagoon ideal for children as water was shallow. A very beautiful and tranquil location. Locals very friendly. A very safe resort it stay in.

For me Olu Deniz was the perfect resort. It was small and friendly yet had enough bars, shops and restaurants to satisfy most people.
If you got bored you could always hop on a dolmus and go to hisaronu or Fethiye for about a pound. The lagoon doesn't look quite as spectacular in real life but is still a wonderful beach.
If you wanted to book a trip there were about a dozen or so agencies vying for your business. It is a matter of personal choice which one you chose. We chose Easy Riders because gorgeous George made us laugh. He was excellent value. For £5.50 for a day long boat trip you couldn't argue, and it included lunch.
We booked scuba diving for £26.00 which included two dives and lunch, excellent value for money. My friend attempted to get his daughter on the scuba diving as a child saying she ate very little. George took one look at my friend and said."But you eat plenty". As I said there are many bars and restaurants and again which one you chose was down to personal preference.
We liked the Sun Cafe restaurant on the beach front and we were made to feel like personal friends by the staff. Also £7.00 for a T bone steak was good value. Would I recommend the resort? Definitely and I hope to go back next year.

Having previously been to Marmaris we found this resort to be relaxed and very hassle free. Beach beautiful. Dolmus runs from beach every 5 minutes which can take you to Hisonaru which is a bit livlier and has a market on a Monday, also Fethyie for the market on a Tuesday.

entertainment was too short and not enough variety in the shows need to bring in more entertainers from outside when you are there for 11 days to 2 weeks it becomes boring. the beach is very beautiful but is very deep after walking out only a short way in the water so it is not suitable for people who are not strong swimmers because the waves are very strong. the cost of loungers and unbrellas for a family becomes expensive by the end of your holiday. overall very pleased with resort location and holiday accomodation because the area has so much on offer so i would come back.

The resort is a couple of minutes walk from the hotel and its just one long steet down to the beach and its lovely once you learn to say no to the street sellers you will love it. Its very safe, the people love a bit of banter with you and they will bend over back wards to sell you something. When you get to the beach you must have a drink at one of the beach bars and watch the sun set you will never want to leave its quite stunning. If
going on any trips go to the large stone wall on the main street and there is a booking office there ask for Nick,he is very helpful and the excursions are great fun and cheap.

The first thing I noticed about the resort is that a lot of the shops use english money-which was strange as we were on holiday-but they accepted both money-so that was fine. In fact it was very english orientated. Most holidaymakers were english and all signs were in english.
However it was cleaner in the streets then being in a english town!!
Mostly it was just lots of restaurants off the main street and a handful of bars, and one small club on the beach front. They all played the same cheesy music, but really it was nice. If you are with people that are fun then you will find there is enough to do for 2 weeks, especially with all the trips that are available. We particularly liked the boat trip round the islands and the jeep safari was just brilliant. It doesnt really matter what tour you go with, as they are all pretty much the same trip. They are just longs days that tire you out.
The beach was ok, but we are not really beach people anyway, so we would rather be around the pool; as the sea is salty and the beach not the most comfortable to walk on.
And as I said I would visit the resort again. And I have to say we did not meet anyone on our holiday who had not liked it! so it suited all!!!
Hope you have a equally good holiday!!!

Olu Deniz did not see mush of us so it is hard to say too much. The lagoon and strip of beach look better in the brochures than they do in real life

Olu deniz is a beautiful place, the blue lagoon is a must :) lovely and clean, my favourite resort (along with hisaronu) in all of turkey. night life a bit quiet for my age group although great for families and couples :) head to hisaronu for more bars and clubs :) all the places i ate in while in olu deniz were lovely, although slightly more expensive than hisaronu. really nice place which is why im now a regular! ha xx
