Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

The beach is no where near as bad as everyone makes out. Yes it is stoney near to the sea but it is lovely and sandy before you get this. It looks beautiful from the hotel and I saw a giant tortoise wandering along the small road at the side of hotel heading towards the beach. There are plenty of bars and resteraunts in the resort itself. But turn left out of the gates on the beach and there is a small shopping centre there. Look out for Mr Fred Perry and the Spice Boys. Most shops take sterling and there is a money exchange a couple of doors down. i took all sterling and only changed a few pounds for the dolmus up to the market. You actually get a better deal if you pay in sterling. This is a lovely safe resort and would not hesitate to return.

Am going to Olu Deniz for 7th time in less than 5 years as its so lovely, have made so many friends we go and visit them as part of our holiday too. So many restaurants you cannot fit them all in, thats why we always stay bed and breakfast. The beach is great with lots of boat trips and a banana boat, parascending and a flying boat, you would think it was straight off the set of a James Bond movie! There are pedalos (on the lagoon) and paragliding everywhere!! thats what makes it most popular if you are brave enough, many are, never a minute of the day when you don't look skyward and see at 10!! The sea is deep and difficult to get in and out of but gorgeous once you are in and in the heat you want to be in there. There are regular people coming back and for offering drinks etc to cool you off. the price of 2 sunbeds plus an umbrella is a £5.

Olu Deniz really is quite magical. Can't explain why really, but we were all sad to leave and haven't stopped raving about the place to anyone who'll listen since we got home.

It's a very compact resort but there is plenty to do in & around Olu. Very green & picturesque. Blue lagoon well worth a visit or two. Loads of trips you can book (use locals not Reps though, much cheaper). Jeep Safari a "must do", as is Saklikent Gorge.

Bars & restaurants all good. After your first visit to any of them they will welcome you back like family & remember all your names! The guys who run "North to Defend" are bonkers - our kids thought they were great.

Prices generally not too bad, although kids drinks quite pricey (like here really)!

This is a lovely resort, very quiet but upmarket. Apparently Olku Deniz is much more expensive than other areas i.e. Marmaris, Altinkum, but its worth every penny. We didn't have to go outside the hotel, only get a few gifts. Paradise.

We went this year in May & lots of shops were cleaning out from the winter & resort was still being sorted out in the first week. by the second week all was sorted & looked smart.

Go to "The White Dolphin" for the most romantic meal every, expensive for Turkey, but not expensive by our prices.

The lagoon is the most wonderful warm calm place to swim.
The beach is very wide with pale sand & some pebbles near the waters edge. The sea slopes quickly & is hard to get out of, because of the stones.

The biggest advantage with Olu Deniz, is that the adjoining mountains physically limit the development potential. It has no high rise buildings, and realy only one main street, consisting of small bars, resturants and shops. The promanade and beach were well maintained, clean and tidy.

The resort was perfect just enough going on but not rowdy. The beach was great especially the lagoon which we preffered as we had kids in our party and the water is very safe there. We were very pleased with resort and never got hassled by shopkeepers or anyone else which made a change from other countries we have visited. Hope to go back soon.

We loved the Olu Deniz resort and found we got little to no hassle and, although the resort itself is quite small, it has excellent scenery and things to occupy you.

We booked the Dalyan mud baths and Jeep Safara through Metrolya (Bloody Georgeous) and got a good price for both with the only negative thing being the Dalyan trip being a little too long in the boat and not enough time at the mud baths due to a top at a Gold Center!!!.

They provide the services of a camera man to take pictures during the trip and then asking £25 for a CD with your pictures and scenery pictures on it.

We didn't buy the Dalyan ones as we thought they were a bit expensive but scored on this front when the same guy appeared on the Jeep Safari to offer us both sets of pictures on one CD for the same price (A bargain, I thought!!). I have checked the CD and scenery pictures included other trips (Pamullake, Ephesus etc) so we got those as a bonus.

Beautiful resort, very pretty with mountains behind spotlessly clean. Lots of paragliders fun to watch but watch out they could land anywhere. Beach lovely but stoney near waters edge and in sea so take shoes. Lagoon beautiful. Prices here are more expensive than the rest of Turkey. Eating and drinking out is by no means cheap probably on par with UK.
Brilliant resort will definately return.
