Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

Despite the hotel we stayed in (blue lagoon see review) we would defnetley stay in this resort again, just to visit the waterside staff are so friendly and welcoming. Went to beach once (lagoon) stayed at bob's beach. One of the shop keepers reccomended it and arranged transport for us which was free. Also visit White Dolphin. Lovely views of Olu Deniz is expensive but well worth it. If you stay in a decent hotel they will make a reservation for you and arrange free transport. Another place to visit is the secret garden restarant. Do a jeep safari also not to be missed.

Perfect location in Turkey. Lovely beach however we happened to notice some kind of sewage being let into the blue lagoon however I feel this was a one of as we did not see anymore after that day.
The main beach is lovely and not too deep. I wouldn't bother going into the clothes shops as theyr all fakes. If you want to see real turkish culture go into the turkish delight shops.
The entertainment in restaraunts at night is good and everyone clubs together. Everyone on the street is friendly and enjoy splashing kids with hosepipe.
Great stuff! I would definatly go back to Olu again soon.

This is an excellent holiday centre. It was my second visit but for my 3 friends it was their first and we all want to go back again. We found one of the best restaurants in the town - Sultan Ahmet in the main street. The staff could not have made us more welcome and that special treatment was given to all the customers. The food was the best we tasted in Turkey. We also spent many happy hours at the Chill Out bar and pool where it was possible to get sun beds without any problem at any time of the day. Again the staff were great and the ice cold beers went down a treat.
We are all looking forward to returning at some time next year.

I would (and will) be coming back to Olu very soon. The place is lovely i cant recommend it highly enough. The fact our hotel was a bit naff was probably a good thing as it meant we spent less time there and more in the bars/restuarants in olu.
The people in olu are mega friendly and always remember you. Dont be scared of those who say hello or ask how you are or what youve been up to. Alot of them wont even try to sell you anything they usually are just being friendly. I dont see any point whatsoever in being rude or ignoring people so always say hello and dont blank them. If you tell people that youve already ate, your going somewhere special etc they are pleasent and usually wish you well.
We found the best places to eat are Harley's steakhouse (the flying dutchman) the staff here are first class and without a doubt the best steaks ive had ever (even that in the UK) we loved the steak so much we came back 3times! They have live bands playing softly in the background (usually love songs, the beatles or phil collins etc) and when bands arent playing have a large screen with live music (nice stuff like robbie williams doing swing, and other pop music from live concerts) its all candlelit and really lovely. Another good place to eat is on the beachfront called the belcehan beach. It does thai, italian and indian is probably the "poshest" restaurant in turkey its lovely! Has amazing food and isnt as expensive as it looks. Its deffo a place to get your best clothes on and have a special night at. We also ate at the white dolphin which is nice, its a seafood restaurant up in the mountain and looks over the whole bay and is the most romantic place to eat.
Best place to drink at is crusoes on the front and best time is go there and watch the sun go down. Its an upstairs open top bar and very nice.
Stuff to do?! where do i start??! go see easyriders on the beach front and from there you can book every trip imaginable. They came recommended so we did a few with them and every single one was amazing and the staff were second to none! (especially the paragliding!!)
Would i come back to olu? yep! in a flash. just got back and will be booking up very soon to go again! Best place in turkey by an absolute mile!

Olu Deniz is really lovely place with loads of restaurants to choose from and lots of nice bars.
We on the other hand ended up in one bar and never really went anywhere else. You must visit the North to Defend bar, its nothing to look at but again the staff are excellent and you can have a real laugh with them.
My only disappointment was the beach as there isnt any sand and its really uncomfortable on your feet, i also thought that is wasnt very clean as people were using it as an ashtray for there cigarette buts, they were everywhere!
On the whole though this is a really good place and would recommend it to anyone.
Weather when we there was about 40 degrees so it was certainly hot!!

Very clean resort with stunning views. Hard to explain the blue lagoon you have to see it.
Entertainment is nearly all family based restaurants with a few music bars.
The main beach is shingle but there are sandy beaches about namely Bobs beach.
We would certainly visit this resort again and the food was wonderful.

Olu Deniz is quite a small resort but doesn't lack character. If you want it, you can find it.
Resort is nice and clean. There are a few fag ends on the beach but you can see road sweepers and like picking up rubbish throughout the day.
There are loads of restaurants/bars down the main drag plus along the beach front. Varying prices and quality.
There are a few bars which are great but if you want all night foam parties go to hisaronu.
I wasn't impressed by the main beach and thought the lagoon, although beautiful, overated. Both beaches are brick and you need sandals to walk on them.
Try bobs beach or suara for sandy beaches with free transport.
Try the chicken wraps from the vendors-to die for !

This resort has to be the most layed back place in Turkey. No hassel from the locals, you say no they stop selling and just talk.
Don't bother with the boat trips just a waste of a day unless you like large crowds and not have time to swim in the sea (several boats all together at the same time).
Would go to this again already looking for next year.

After visiting Turkey (another resort) last year and had my reserved stiff upper lip gently removed by these helpful, generous and genuinely affectionate people, I was geared up for more of the same. What I found was an attitude change, it was "stuff your friendship and give me all your money". It was a rip off from start to end.
The price hike was extortionate and for us watching our pennies we weren't ready for £5.50 for a bacardi and coke, £35 for bottle of red wine, or £1.50 for fanta or the lack of bartering, it was either pay the price or go away.
The beach was very gravelly and very sharp on the feet and I made very ungraceful exits from the sea, which had this strange seaweed floating in it which more than one person thought it was sewage!
The lagoon was not the tropical paradise I imagined, very pebbly and not that scenic and after visiting Bobs beach where more of the strange seaweed was, i felt a bit let down.
We ate in all the places mentioned on this and other web sites and we spent the 2 weeks quite healthy, until the last day where hubby got the Turkey tum and now is too ill to return to work.
This resort has spoilt my image of Turkey so much that im afraid we wont be returning to Olu or Turkey again. I know folks will be reading this and saying "no, thats not right" but there are others that will agree.

I found Olu Deniz to be a very nice resort, the best part was that the shops stayed open until basically the last customer left and the people did there upmost to help you find what you want.
