Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

The resrot of Playa Blanca is quite small with a small shopping area and plenty of bars and places to eat. The streets are kept clean and the locals are very friendly and helpful.
The new marina area with it's shopping arcade and bars is well worth a visit. There is also a market on the marina every Wednesday and Saturday.

The resort is a very quiet one, if you want to party and lively night life then please dont come here. We hired a car for 2 days and went to PDC and that was lively, but could,nt of stayed there for 2 weeks! We visited alot of the bars over and over again because there ar,nt that many.

I quite like playa Blanca because it has got all the amenities you would need in close proximity. There is a good range of restaurants and shops on the sea front with more shopping on the streets behind. The beach was very clean and safe for children as it gently shelves into the sea. I would certainly go back again.

The resort was a pretty quite place, with not much going on around you. Ideal for the older generation. There was quite alot of building work going on. But i suppose anywhere you going in the world your gonna get that.
It was really clean. Well as clean as you would expect. No nasty bugs walking around. Inface i think i saw 1 cocroche the whole 2 weeks i were there.
I will be visiting in 2 months for another 2 week holiday.

Hotel is based around the new marina no beach as such nearest one being about a 10 minute walk away.
All the main units now taken in marina but lots of empty shop units but these do not detract.
The marina is lovely to walk around and has been built in different styles and levels very well done for a new build.

Clean, enough shops and restaurants without being too busy. A ten minute walk from the main resort - thought that the Mexican Restaurant was excellent. Especially the salads in the taco shells. Yum!

We stayed at Costa Teguise last time and thought we would try Playa Blanca as it does not get the rain showers as that side of the Island. We were not dissapointed it is a beautiful resort with a very long seafront promenede and extremely clean I would go back again and recomend this resort.

Playa Blanca was clean and a pleasure to be there. The sea front has a long sea front path that leads from Marina Rubicon right to the far side of Playa Blanca, in fact it took me 2 hours one day to walk from the marina rubicon and to the far side of the port and I could have carried on for a further 2 hours! Great also for cyclists and runners as fairly flat and very well maintained. There are many restaurants in the main area of Playa Blanca with quite a few bars that turned into entertainment venues of an evening. If you fancy something a bit more upmarket, visit the marina Rubicon and you will find an array of class restaurants mostly overlooking the expensive boats.
All in all a lovely area which I would definitely visit again.
