Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Don’t stay here. I would stay under a rock on the beach in Playa Blanca over this.
Don’t stay here. Death would be better.

If you can afford it, get a suite. Overlooking the pool and the sea - perfect!

My top-rated restaurants are Camel, Bodegon Las Tapas, La Romantica, and Ninen.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

Playa Blanca is a lovely relaxing resort, ideal for families, not ideal if you want to go to lots of clubs etc.
The resort is clean and has lots of shops, bars and restaurants. The beach is clean and sunbeds can be hired for a small fee.
We were please to find a scuba diving school across the road from our hotel, but there are quite a few to choose from in the resort.
I enjoyed the relaxing pace of Playa Blanca, and saw no trouble or drunken behaviour the whole time we were there.
I would definately recommend this holiday for families.

The resort has a few bars and restaurants along the front and had a working port where you could get the ferry to Fuerteventura. Aramas and Fred Olsen were the two companies that ran them but it is not cheap €51 (2) return if you are 60 or over and $58 (2) if not the locals get it at a very reasonable cost about have the senior citzens fare. Beaches were clean and quite busy.
Cannot comment on the entertainment as we never really went into town to see it.

Playa Blanca is a lovely place - the beach is beautiful, my only complaint was it was full of fag butts, not very nice for the kids digging them up every 2 Min's.
Loads of water sports; banana boat, pedalos, jet skis, para gliding etc.
The resort is VERY clean, there were men out on the beach even at night picking up litter. Only had one poor meal, the rest were great.
Can definitely recommend Jumbo's chinese - great with the kids and excellent service / food and also L'Artista Italian up the steps which has a lovely balcony looking out to Fuerteventura. Also brilliant food & service, kids loved it!
Plenty of shops, designer & other, never got to the marina but others said it was very nice with even more shops & a play area. Would definitely return to Playa Blanca - it's a beautiful resort and everything we expected.

I liked Playa Blanca town, it was clean with some nice shops. There was plenty of places to eat over looking the beach or harbour.
We visited Dorada beach a lot, which was nice, the only thing missing is a working shower.
The free bus was very handy, but so to were the taxis. A place to visit near to is the Rubican Marina, not fully opened yet but a lovely place to visit and to have a meal at, ask for a menu for the ice creams they are out of this world (full of fresh fruit)i will visit again.

The resort was fairly quiet but their were plenty of bars and restaurants in the main town and harbour areas.
If you enjoy walking the main promenade stretched from one end of Playa Blanca to the other which was very picturesque.

The Hotel is quite a walk from Playa Blanca would have liked to be a bit nearer but apart from that a nice resort.

There is no resort to speak of as the hotel is isolated and you have to travel to Costa Calma for any thing. We prefer the quiet life so the Gorriones suits us.

We were not really interested in the resort, only went in for walk round on 1 day, but it was OK, but nothing to make you desperately want to return, we spent most of our time in our hotel, which was great and what we went for.

Nice clean resort, not too crowded, small, clean, sandy beach area but not the black sand that you find elswhere. Nice new marina with pleasant shops and cafes.

The Playa Flamingo beach looks like it has been damaged by rough seas. Half of the pier has been washed away, and about a third of the beach seems to have lost it's sand!

Avoid unless 2* makes you happy. Sadly- it clearly does for many guests.
