Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

Playa Blanca is a great resort if you have children. The sunbeds closest to the waters edge fill up quickest although we stayed toward the back so we didn't have to carry stroller to far.
Came home and got straight onto website to book again!

Was very disappointed in resort beach was fine very clean but quality of food in restaurants was very poor especially one restaurant that we went to in the marina district worse meal I have ever had on any holiday I have ever been on and this was a well known restaurant chain.

Although the resort was clean the same could not be said about the beach loads of cig ends and litter.
Although a quiet resort it more than suited our needs did find the shops and bars ect more expensive then I expected it seemed to us that they were high prices in the grocery shops which made me think that self catering is not as cheap as it should be.

The resort at Playa Blanca was very clean and had a hugh variety of shops. It has a lovely clean safe beach which my kids loved. You can walk for about 2 miles from one end right along the seafront promenade lined with restaurants and shops and there are even omore on the streets behind. We got the key for the back gate which is a bit like a prison and it takes about 15 minutes to walk into town, not particularly a picturesque walk, pretty town when you get there.

Playa Blanca is a growing but laid back resort.If you want a relaxed and peaceful holiday then this is the place.No yobs,drunks or shaved head chavs.As with the hotel,it is a very cosmopolitan resort with British,German.Norwegian,French and Spanish holidaymakers.The Germans seemed to be the best catered for in the resort with most satellite tv channels in German.if you are self careing there is a very good Netto supermarket in town.There are numerous retaurants including Chinese,Japanese,Mexican,Italian,Spanish and Canarian.Prices aren't much different from home as far as drinks are concerned. The weather during our stay was very mixed with a few hot and sunny days followed by cloudy and windy days.Would definately return to Playa Blanca

we love playa blanca and the rubicon marina is paradise. There is not a great amount of entertainment in the marina but the restaurants were all classy and very nice. The main resort was only a short walk away but although not lively it was busier and there were more shops and bars. The area lacked a good supermarket last time we stayed but a big netto has opened now just a short walk away near the princess yiaza. All in all we had a fab holiday and would definatley visit again.

Resort was nice and clean, and well laid out. Perhaps could of done with an extra mop around the pool. Plenty of sunbeds.
It was abit of a walk into town, but they did put on a bus service which is good, otherwise it doesn't cost much to get a taxi.
