Avoid booking a studio without stipulating 'NOT FACING THE WALL' as we were allocated a room looking directly at a high wall 12' from our balcony even although we had requested a sea or pool view. Check directly with the hotel well in advance.
All rooms are good in this quite hotel with most having sea views

It was all fab
Avoid like the plaque its dirty and unclean and the pool area was dirty and un safe the stairs leading in the pool was broken I had to complain about it

My top tip is to get the bus from the airport as it stops at the top of the road by Magna Building save on transfers

What resort? It's hardly classed as one! No activities during the day and rude staff on our hotel.
Defiantly won't be returning and not enjoying the stay.

Love Tenerife, love Las Americas, want to relax on holiday then this is the place to go.

Las Americas has the label of being a party resort, which it is later at night but it is also a great place for families or the more mature holiday maker. Lots of friendly family run bars - The Rabbit Bar run by a scottish couple with a family of their own and a local cocktail bar Las Cocketails just 100 yrds away. You can hire bikes or just have a stroll on the new promenades and enjoy the warmth!

The hotel is situated between Los Christianos and Playa las Americas Nice flat walking either way Lovely and clean.

If you like people swearing at their kids and general dross then yeah go here, no better than Las Americas, what a dump. NO WAY would i ever choose to holiday in this resort again

This end of Player De Las Americas is clean with not to many night clubs and family friendly.Like all resorts there is some litter but it is controlled and cleaned more than once a day.There is a discrete Police presence so you always feel safe.There is an increase of Eastern Europe pick pockets,but no more than you would find in other resorts.The beaches are kept clean and a nice paved walking track around the resort between hotels,shops etc and the beach which is a favorite with surfers.

There are two pools at Garden City, the main one is where were stayed all of the time as it is a lot bigger than the one that is further up, is very clean, although it does say it is heated but in November when we went it was rather cold - but once you are in it - it is fine.
The poolbar is very nice - great food and great staff - the entertainment at night was also good.
There are various bars just outside the complex - which do very nice cheap food.
There is a supermarket in the complex but it is a bit expensive - but if you walk a bit further down there is a bigger supermarket which is a lot cheaper.
The walk to the beach is only 10 minutes away - a nice walk, although be prepared to be stopped every 5 minutes by people wanting you to buy watches/sunglasses as you walk down the beach - they are very persistent and sometimes quite "in your face". This gets very annoying.
We have been to Tenerife - Costa Adeje twice now and both times we have had great weather and have had a really good stay.

the resort itself is clean and has been given a face lift over the last few years. no more broken paving stones. for entertainment we usually went to the 'patch' just before the 'strip'(which is very quiet this time of year)the beach - lovely. we left it too late one day and couldn't get a sunlounger so we just sunbathed on the grass area. all in all a great holiday and would recommend this hotel/resort to anyone.
