Attached to the Hotel is a bar, well worth sitting here at night - only thing is your all-inclusive option stops the moment you go past reception so drinks aren't free here.

The resort had plenty of bars and places to eat but too much English food on the menus, allthough not our problem as we were all inclusive.
The trips we booked at the resort were great value for money especially to the mud baths.Just before we left a stadium was built on the main beach for ball games which I thought spoilt it as it is a lovely beach.
The water is not really suitable for children because of drop not far in, so a trip to the lagoon is recommended, our grandchildren had a lovely time there.

The resort itself is spotless, you won't find any discarded cartons and cans here (i.e no MacDonalds - thank God). There seemed to people out cleaning the streets everyday.
Lots of excellent restaurants Ottomans, Josephs and the fabulous Captain Hook's, where we had a meal on our wedding anniversay, and they laid out the table covered in flowers.
Try out the Tequila Bar, lots of rock records being played while the crazy waiters dance around playing air guitar.
Try out the beach bar and watch the para-gliders landing on the prom.
A must is the Jeep Safari, best day out I have had for ages, very dusty, very very wet - but tons of fun!
Try booking this with Bloody Gorgeous (once you've met him you will not forget him!)

Olu Deniz is both quiet enough to enjoy a relaxing holiday and lively enough to be entertained. We spent two weeks there and with the Thomson trips and the many bars and restaurants we were never bored.
The resort is very clean and compact and everything is in walking distance. For us we loved Oba restaurant (on the street parallel to the main street)it had traditional Turkish meals that were delicious and good value. We also enjoyed the Secret Garden and Sultan Pepper. The restaurant on the front (can't remember the name) serving Thai, Indian and Italian was also very nice. However I would not recommend Peppinos (rubber like food) or the other Italian on the sea front.
Most bars there were lively enough for us and the drink was reasonable. Mainly the prices were the same as in the UK yet the imported drinks are much more expensive (though you do get larger measures!!)
There are many places selling the same trips as the holiday companies but at a cheaper price. We did not use this service but others recommended it. We didn't try the paragliding after being warned off it due to insurance and the fact it is quite dangerous.
The lagoon is beautiful and you don't have to pay too much to get in (£1). Lovely to spend a day there and swim in the warm water.
We would definitely visit the resort again.

Overall Olu Deniz did not live up to our expectations. It has obviously grown considerably over the past few years and has now got too big for us. The main street at night could best be described as loud and vibrant. The food and choice of restaurants was excellent but the wine expensive and pretty awful. Spirits are also very costly here. We understand prices have risen 40% in the past year and it is therefore no longer cheap, although there are some bargains to have in designer label fakes and leather goods. The problem is very few items are priced and you are constantly pestered and have to haggled for prices.
The beach itself is far better in the photographs than in reality. It is not sandy but harsh shingle which shelves steeply into the sea. The surrounding scenery in mountainous and pretty.

Olu Deniz is very clean. Beach is pebbly but everyone seems to know that and everyone has beach shoes to enter water.
Cannot comment on entertainment as we stayed in hotel most evenings, except for wandering down to Cloud 9 for a few cocktails some nights when they were on offer.
A great resort for everyone

Olu Deniz is a fabulous resort with many good restaurants and bars.
Whilst most people flock to the Lagoon end we found that a bit of peace and quiet can be found at the opposite end of the beach.
Steer clear of the resort at the top of the hill (Turkish Blackpool) and head for Fetihe.

Olu Deniz is a superb location with bars and rest.and shops on your doorstep.Beautiful blue sea surounded by mountains..heaven on earth for two weeks. We spent most of our days at the lagoon which is about 20 mins.walk away along the beach but it seems longer because of the heat but its worth it when you get there. You have to pay to get in and with the cost of the sunbeds and sunshade it cost us about 6 pounds for the day,but to us it was worth it.If you like a slow relaxing holiday or a vibrant sporting one it doesn't matter, its got both here.If you're mad you can jump off of the mountain and float down to the beach, you can hire a speed boat for the day and explore the coastline and islands, jeep safaris, horse riding, visits to mud baths and gorges etc etc.Or if you're like us just relax in the sun(and shade)and go for a swim when you need cooling down.I reccomend going on the island cruises, they are well worth the money eg.from 10am -6pm £8 each inclusive of lunch on board of chicken and trout.Diving and swimming off the boat if you feel energetic.Great day out,we did it 3 times while we were there. The beach is stoney and painful to walk on,makes getting in and out of the sea awkward (dips away}thats why we chose the lagoon.Nightlife is mainly resteraunts and bars so if you are young or young at heart and want to dance the night away in clubs then this is not the place for you.I wont reccomend places to eat like other people on this website because from our own experience thats half the fun choosing where to eat everyday, but the food was very good in all the places we tried so there's not much to choose between them and the prices are great compared to the UK.I could go on forever telling you what to do and what NOT to do,but just go because Turkey and the Turkish people are fantastic. We are going back in August to a different resort this time I hope its as good as this one.Have a great holiday but dont forget those earplugs!!!

Olu Deniz is a 30 minute walk for Scottish people or a 5 minute taxi ride for other nationalities. A nice walk after dinner, but don't try it in the dark, too may cliffs. Only really went into Olu Deniz for souveniers, so can't really comment. The Blue Lagoon of pictorial fame is at the far end of the beach from Lykia World.

The resort was very clean especially in the bars. As I am a smoker if someone saw ash in the ashtray they would get a clean one immediately, this was in all the bars and restaurants. The beaches were clean especially the Blue Lagoon, Bob's Beach wasn't that clean but it wasn't dirty.
There was entertainment every night every where in the resort. A lot of the bars have wide screen t.v s with english channels on them a lot of karaoke nights!
Before I went to Turkey a lot of people said watch them haggle and hassle you, but to be honest it wasn't that bad and they are only trying to earn money. If you just say hello and no thank you they will be happy!
