The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

Get the bus down and back to Amadores beach if you don't fancy walking. If you want a drink or snack while down at the beach try Zenubia Restaurant (right hand side of beach) where you will find a warm welcome from Maria and Staff. A visit to the Amadores Beach Club to see the sun set should not be missed also.If you fancy a night out in Puerto Rico go to Dicey Reillys Irish bar, excellent entertainment after 10pm."

we stayed in puerto rico and the resort itself was quite clean. Puerto rico beach is lovely but you must go to Ammadores beach where there are loads of restaurants and shops around the beach and the food there is excellent. The sunbeds cost 3 euros each and the umbrellas 2.50 euros in both puerto rico and ammadores. Entertainment is good and Barracudas in the Europa centre has 3 artist nightly but quite expensive for drinks. I would definitely visit this resort again.

The resort where we stayed was ok....a few old hotels around but thats not too bad....roads/paths are always clean and tidy.
The beach is one of the best. We have visited the resort of Puerto Rico many times and hasnt really changed over the last 15 years.....the standard of the beach is lovely...If you wanted you can visit neighbouring resorts of Ammadorres or Aguiniguin these are lovely and very affordable in taxi or a local bus for about 2 euro's.

the resort was very quiet and peaceful with beautiful scenery. 5 mins away from the beach and 10 mins from the main town in a taxi. Never seen any trouble in the 7 days there which was reasuring being in a strange place. everyone was friendly and enjoyed the entertainment at the europa centre and also the boat trip to the beautiful port mogan. highly recommend a holiday in this resort.

We always ate at the Europa Centre which is opposite the Hotel, Turbo's is great for your full english in the morning's also Barbacoa and Flicks is great for food aswell. At night we always went to Xtreeemz fantastic place always made welcome by Russ and all the barstaff,Wednesday the Rocking Jock is on a comedian not to be missed, Thursday night Abba Tribute act with all the abba classics. Friday night is Fancy Dress night, Chloe's One Stop Party shop is opposite Xtreeemz everything you need in there.
Would definitely recommend, Can't wait to be back in August.

The resort itself was fine clean and never felt in danger, taxis are plentyfull and cheap, there is something for evey taste entertainment wise, mad or relaxed whatever you want you can find in both complexes. We were right beside the europa centre and spent a few nights in there. The chinese upstairs in the europa was lovely and Mary Ds bar is good fun, The Irish bar at the back of the centre had 2 brilliant lads in it and really got the crowd (of mostly scandinavians) going. The main shopping centre had everything cheap bars M&Ms was dirt cheap but was a bit of a kip, we drang in the nags head still cheap but nice and relaxed. Went into Stevie Yorks harp bar a few nights and had good craic there but wandered around the complex dipping in and out of everywhere. Good spot for couples didnt have the kids with us and would be a little wary of bringing them there, the resort is a little one dimentional.

Puerto Rico is a nice small resort with two good beaches. There is a good selection of decent restaurants and bars although they are quite pricey for families.
Some of the bars are open until 6am in the morning so avoid staying close to the main resort.
The resort wouldnt suit people with walking disabilities.
It has a good selection of browsing shops that sell the usual tourist things, they are quite expensive though.
I would visit Puert Rico again but would not return to the Colina Mar.
