The actual apartment itself was lovely. The maintenance staff were lovely. But I can't recommend for a relaxing holiday or enjoyable time by the pool...

Everywhere is kept pretty clean, there are plenty of bins around and workers tending to the gardens etc.
There is so much entertainment going on it's hard to keep up with. Pay a visit to m and m for a cheap and friendly drink - you can see it from Castillo Del Sol, Harleys for a lively drink along with the other disco bars. I didn't get to see Andy Bush this time but if you get the chance he's really funny.
We spent most of our time on Amadores beach which is my favourite beach in the world! - Great facilities, aqua sea and white sand.

The resort is compact and has everything there to suit everyone, from lazing on the beach to jet ski's, diving, boat trips to shopping and hundreds of different types of places to eat.

puerto rico was split into two,top of the hill where babalu appartments were and bottom where the harbour is.we went on two boat trips on glass bottomed boats one to mogan and one to arguineguin and anfi all about half hour journeys 9 euros each return with free sangria and lollipops on outward and inbound journeys.all different but beautiful places.lot of bars shops restaurants etc.lots of timeshare touts here.beach was ok but crowded especially at the weekend .we much preferred the amadores beach about fifteen minutes walk away on a lovely walkway.recommend eating at el molino here where we ate fresh fish of the day from mogan excellent.the spanish couple who owned this were very friendly.theyalso had another restaurant in the europa centre at the top of the hill, again called el molino, again excellent food. we would definitely go to puerto rico again the weather was excellent 28 and 29 degrees every day and would recommend it to anyone lots to see and do.

Puerto Rico was fairly quiet at this time of the year (the first week of May) but it was clean and it had everything we wanted - a good beach and plenty of places to eat and drink.
We didn't go up to the Europa Centre and went to the Commercial Centre most nights, which is packed full of bars and restaurants. It was very cheap to eat out most of the restaurants are steakhouses. You do get plagued by people trying to get you in their restaurants but we found the best tactic was to tell them we fancied Chinese or Indian instead! We usually went on to one of the bars in the centre after our meal.
The beach at Puerto Rico is a good standard and clean but, being picky, we found the sand to be quite "sticky" and dense and it was a nightmare getting it off our skin. We went to Amadores beach on our last day and that was fantastic, with fine golden sand.

Fantastic resort, loved Donalds bar- went every night, made great friends with the staff there.
Fibbers is a good nightclub, some great places to eat.
The beach was really nice, had great day jet ski-ing!

Puerto Rico is clean and well kept. It is steep, but only up to the hotels, the main shopping areas are flat.
You do get hounded by the Anfi Del Mar resort reps, which is annoying and also every single cafe. restaurant and bar owner will try to get you into their establishment.
None of the restaurants are that good, apart from one or two on a small section by the harbour. Public transport is very cheap and I would recommend doing your own thing rather than with the reps as it is much cheaper.
I recommend the Supercat trip, go on a Monday, much quieter!
We wouldn't go back to the resort, only because we have been there now and we prefer to try different places. I would say that it is ideal for families as there is a lot for children to do, but it is a tourist trap, so beware!
We did have a good holiday despite my whinging, the weather was 30 degrees every day for two weeks and we went to relax anyway and certainly did that and came back with a fab tan.

The resort itself was very clean.
We didn't go out much for entainment except to a couple of bars and restaurants which were all fab.
The beach was very clean, but didn't actually spend anytime on it.
